“We boarded Gigi with Amber for a week. Gigi initially would not eat or drink. But Amber was patient with Gigi coaxing her to eat her food. We would definitely board with Amber again.”

“Julie and her family took great care of our dog Penny and treated her as their own. She had a spacious farm to roam and explore and other dogs to socialize with. This was the longest that we have left our dog but Julie provided regular updates of her visit. Our girl returned happy and tired!”

“Kathryn is a wonderful caretaker! She took great care of Bandit, and met all of his needs. She is quick to provide updates, and ensures that you have peace of mind of the care your dog is in. I was happy to receive daily pics and updates. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“We are so pleased with Connie no doubt we will use her again! She is extremely responsive and kept us updated regularly of what Boomer was up to. She also sent us tons of photos and videos which was very nice. Boomer had an amazing time and returned home very happy and tired after all the playing. Connie has a great place for that! She even cleaned him up before we picked him up since the ground was a bit damp and he got a bit dirty from all the running around. We really appreciated that since she didn’t have to do it. Overall it was a great experience, plus she is ( and her husband) super friendly.”

“Heather has hosted our 88 lbs yellow lab Chewy for extended overnight stays twice now. We know he's enjoyed the stay because he is eager to get in her door when we drop him off - and he's tired from all the play and fun when we pick him up days later. She does a great job communicating with us and takes his mischief with good humor. Will definitely continue to board him with her.”

“The BEST! We were hoping to find someone who cared for our little guy like we do and we found her. Linda and her family are amazing and deserve 6 stars. We will be using Linda's boarding services many, many more times!”

“Highly recommend! She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated with messages and pictures. We felt completely at ease knowing our pup was in such great hands. Will definitely book again!”

“Christie was great - kept us informed, sent us videos and took plenty of time to get to know our doodle puppy and gave her plenty of exercise and love. Also, when a massive rainstorm hit just before pickup, she gave us some extra time to get which was greatly appreciated. She is caring and offered suggestions about diet and treats and worked with her on her first nite getting to sleep in a strange place. Her large doodle ended up being a great play buddy outside. We will use her again for sure.”

“I'm so grateful that my first time using Rover led me to Dana, who took care of my pups, Boogie and Lilli, while I was away. She did an amazing job looking after them, and they absolutely adore her. Dana made sure they were happy and well looked after. It was clear that she really loves dogs, and my pups felt comfortable and happy around her. I'm so relieved to know that they were in good hands during my first experience with Rover. I highly recommend Dana if you need someone to look after your pups. She's fantastic, and my pups think she's the best! Thank you, Dana, for taking such good care of Boogie and Lilli. 🐾💜”

“We’ve boarded our two dogs with Audree. Audree takes great care of our pups and she is so easy to communicate with. She was flexible with an earlier pick up time. She sent pictures of our pups letting us know Milo and Kenzie was safe and enjoying their play time. Milo and Kenzie will be most definitely be coming back to stay again. Thank you Audree!”

“Rebecca was great with Dani. She sent me pictures of Dani daily. Rebecca has a large fenced in yard for the dogs to play and run around in. Dani loved being able to play with the other dogs. I will book Rebecca the next time I need doggie sitter.”

“Even though my request was last minute, Sonja and Phil were kind enough to accept and take care of Leo. I could tell Leo was well cared for and in good hands while I was away. I really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help on such short notice. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and highly recommend”

“Lily, our dog seamed very happy there. The moment we arrived, Lily stated to play with the other dogs, and you can tell the Svetlana was a good and kind person the loved dog. We plan to use here again.”

“Jordan and his family was amazing with Monty. He was very quick in his responses with continous updates while taking care of my dog. His home provided the perfect space for Monty to roam and be free. Will definitely use again.”

“We are so happy we found Laurie to take care of our 12 year old Aussie. After the initial meet and greet she was able to take him in for a few nights while we were on travel at the last minute. Laurie is super friendly and you can tell she really cares for the pets she’s watching. All of the other dogs that she watches were all really friendly as well and we are really grateful that’s he got a lot of playtime in her fenced in back yard. Laurie was also super communicative and sent multiple updates and pictures everyday which we really appreciated. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Erica was so great, I’m solo pet owner and had plans at the last minute, she was so great with Marvel on first visit and my accommodation for extra day. He is smaller so he takes a few minutes to observe before playing with big dogs, but once he gets started he loves play dates all sizes”

“Heather and her husband were absolutely amazing! They have a beautiful property that any dog would love. Plenty of space to run around and play. She was so friendly and caring towards our dog Nova. A great communicator and extremely organized! We would love for Nova to stay at GG’s Funny Farm again and will definitely be re-booking. 😊”

“We're repeat clients, and it's always a great experience. Kyon truly enjoys his time with this family! Yeny and Ray are warm, welcoming, and treat every pet as if they were their own. Their genuine love and care for animals really shines through.”

“Matisa was amazing! She is so kind hearted and made me feel comfortable within minutes of meeting her so I was automatically at ease leaving my dog there - on very short notice by the way (so grateful!). I could tell Loki felt right at home with her family and family dog. He had a big yard to roam, which I’m sure he loved. Matisa sent updates and pictures often which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely book her again and again. Highly recommend!”

“April is very easy to get along with and gave excellent care to our cat Miss Pepper. April sent me pictures of our feline at each visit and informed me of package deliveries. Upon my request she checked the water taps drip to ensure the water doesn’t freeze. I highly recommend her.”

“Jessica is incredible!!! It was my first time using Rover and meeting Jessica. She's friendly and professional and put all of any reservations I may have had to rest the minute I met her. Besides my kitties absolutely loved her. She left great details and took adorable pictures. I would definitely recommend Jessica and will be using her from now on when I need my cats looked after.”

“Elizabeth is an amazing Rover! She cared for our senior cat and provided compassionate care. She was very responsible and followed all instructions perfectly. She sent us daily photos and updates. We came home to a very happy cat and everything was left neat and orderly. We appreciate you Elizabeth! Thank you so much! 🐈”

“This is the second time Victoria watched our kitty & we had just as wonderful of an experience. She sends lots of pictures, leaves our place picked up & is super responsive. It’s so nice to be able to travel & not worry. Grateful for her!”

“I am a first time rover user. I had some issues with getting the first person I chose to contact me back..Autumn was so kind to help me out at the last minute..she took wonderful care of my two fur babies. About: Cats are wonderfully complex creatures who thrive on predictability, patience, and a deep respect for their personal boundaries. While I am a newer face on the professional sitting scene, my approach is rooted in a genuine understanding of feline behavior. I don't just drop in to fill a bowl; I tune into your cat's unique personality to ensure they feel safe, stimulated, and completely at home while you're away. Whether you have a mischievous kitten bouncing off the walls or a dignified senior who prefers a quiet companion in a sunbeam, I tailor my approach to their exact life stage and comfort level. What Sets Me Apart? Feline care requires a delicate touch and a sharp eye. Here is what makes my visits special: -Kitten Energy & Enrichment: Young cats need a safe outlet for all that natural curiosity. I specialize in engaging play sessions using wand toys and puzzle feeders to burn off kitten energy, curb destructive behavior, and help shape good habits. -Specialized Senior Care: Older cats need extra gentleness and close monitoring. I am experienced in administering oral medications, managing special diets, and providing low-impact companionship for cats with arthritis, mobility issues, or chronic conditions. -Feline Body Language Experts: Not every cat wants a lap to sit on immediately. I pride myself on reading subtle feline cues, respecting boundaries for shy or anxious cats, and letting them set the pace so they build trust naturally. -Reliable "Cat-Eye" Updates: You’ll never have to wonder how your feline friend is doing. Every visit includes detailed notes on their eating, grooming, and litter box habits, accompanied by great photos. Bottom Line: Your cat stays in the comfort of their own home with a dedicated sitter who respects their independence and caters to their individual needs.
“Matisa U was very friendly and took extreme care of our fur baby. She communicated well and sent pictures of Hazel during our time away from her. I feel that Hazel had a great time and enjoyed herself. I would definitely recommend Matisa to to my family and friends and will definitely return to her for her services. Thank you!”

“Thank you for taking great care of my kitty while I was away! And extra thanks for doing so last minute. Michelle rocks! Great updates and TLC for the fur baby(and plants) ?”

About: My first cat was named Jasper. He was a tiger stripe American shorthair with Jasper colored eyes (hence his name). He was a stray we took in, and we noticed he had a slight limp. After a visit to the vet, and some x-rays were taken, it was clear his left hip had been injured when he was younger (vet approximated his age to be 10 at the time). I cared for him while he had his cone, after his leg was amputated (poor guy!), ensuring he received the proper medications on time. My second cat was an all-black stray (not sure his breed), but I named him Kuro. I had him for a year and some change and gave him to my friend after moving to a pet-free community. I missed having a cat, so I searched and found Naruto, who was only 10 days old, and I adopted him on the spot! I've taught him all his little quirks, including back-talking lol! I trained him to come at the sound of a particular whistle, to jump up on something after I tap, or scrape it in a certain pattern, and taught him to play fetch! I am able to administer medications Intravenous, or Sub-q, as well as advise on best care practices!

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind — from playful puppies to gentle seniors, and everything in between. I am the go to dog sitter for all my family and friends! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m home most of the time and able to give pets plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I treat every pet like part of the family! I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I provide dependable care and regular updates!
“Christie brought a sense of calmness towards our Joji as soon as we arrived. She is very sweet, friendly, and flexible - it was a plus that she was able to work with our hours, we’ll definitely book her again :)”

“Svetlana took great care of our 2 dogs on a last minute notice for the day. She is so kind, and good with the dogs. Her house is clean and tidy (1 of my dogs likes to chew everything), and she has a nice large fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in. I highly recommend her, and will definitely book with her again. Thank you so much!!”

“Yeny was kind enough to do a list minute Day Care for us on our Anniversary. Easy drop off and pick up. She was walking her as we arrived to pick up and passed them..! She seemed happy and exercised. The whole family seems to participate in the care of the animals. Yeny took the time to hand feed her a bit at her first dinner away from home to get her started. She took to the time to talk about her day with our pup before we left. It seems to be a caring environment. We will definitely use her again.”

“Ligia did a good job caring for my two dogs in their doggie day care stay. Does a good job of slowly introducing new dogs to each other and respecting if certain dogs don't want to play with others. Her house and yard are set up in a way that allows her to separate animals, if needed. She communicated well with me and was available at the agreed upon times. We will be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I have 20+ years of pet experience with dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, and more. I am available for dog boarding in my home for multiple dogs. I am comfortable giving medications. I can make multiple visits to your home while you are gone. Let me know what your needs are and we can find a suitable accommodation for your pet. They will be loved like our own. I am a stay at home mom who homeschools my children. Most of our days are wide open and I can easily accommodate taking care of other pets. I will look after your pets like I do my own. I will make sure they always have the proper food and water and are never left unattended. I can meet a variety of needs for many different pets.
“We had a wonderful experience with Theresa and Ed. They were so kind and attentive to our pets, and we loved getting all the photo updates. It really gave us peace of mind while we were away.”

About: I’ve dog sat for many clients before not in the Rover app. I enjoy being able to take the animals on walks and playing with them! I’m very kind to animals and love meeting different breeds! I have a dog and 4 cats of my own, so I’m very much used to taking care of animals! Most of my cats are indoors but I do have a dog that I take on walks. I’m currently looking for a full time job to replace my current job. I am a senior in college but do it all online so I am very flexible. I always try to make a pet feel as comfortable as possible around me. I’m not an overly hyper person so I wouldn’t make them nervous in that way. I usually come in, sit down, and let them get used to me and make sure they’re okay to get around me.
About: From cats and dogs to cattle and kangaroos, I've worked with hundreds of different animals. When it comes to our fur babies, I have trained and shown dogs for 9 years, whilst working in veterinary settings with my family since I was 8. Older dogs and puppies require extra care, and I am totally able to keep close to your pets to help them out. I currently have a remote job, so I can do my work while house sitting to make things easier. If anything ever came up, you would be the first to know - well in advance. I'm extremely flexible with my schedule and routines for dog walking at any hour of the day (or night). If it's dog sitting at your home, I'll likely stay the night unless that's something you aren't comfortable with. And to cover my end of things, I ask for an in-person meet and greet so I can let the pets get to know me before hanging out with them while you're away. This is also to go over questions, feeding, bathroom / walking routines, and more.
About: I grew up in a house full of animals (dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish) and loved it. Less than a year after moving out to attend college I got my own puppy (Havanese). 12 years later I found myself getting a second dog after my parents and a sibling adopted her other 2 sisters (English Cream Golden Retriever puppies). We dogsit for them, and of course they come to family get-togethers, so we're used to having extra dogs in our house! In 2025 we said goodbye to our first dog, and a few months later welcomed home our foster-to-adopt puppy (chihuahua-beagle mix). The kids love playing and cuddling with dogs and understand when they need space. My full-time job offers flexibility in my schedule allowing me to work from home 3x/week. I work early hours so that I can have more time available in the afternoons & evenings to spend with family/pets. Having my own home, family, and pets I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy and respectful to take care of your home and precious pets.

“Jacob and Sarah were great! My dog did awesome with them and they took really good care of him! They are flexible and very nice people who truly love animals. I highly recommend them!!”

About: Hi there! With over 10 years of equine handling experience and many years of caring for dogs and other pets, I’ve learned that good pet care is about more than just showing up. It’s about paying attention, being reliable, and taking the time to understand each animal as an individual. I love getting to know their personalities, routines, and little quirks so I can make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of pets, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, anxious, or somewhere in between. I’m very attentive to body language and changes in behavior, and I’m always happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you leave for me. I believe patience, consistency, and a little extra attention can make a big difference in how comfortable a pet feels with someone new. I also know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your pets. I value clear communication and will keep you updated throughout your booking, whether that’s through Rover cards, photos, or a quick message about how things are going. My goal is for you to be able to enjoy your time away without having to worry about whether your pets are being taken care of. Whether you need a quick drop-in, regular walks, an extended house sit, or care for your farm animals, I’m happy to help. I treat every animal I care for with the same patience, kindness, and respect I would give my own. Rates are not set in stone, and I’m happy to work with you when I can to make sure your pets get the care they deserve. I work part-time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends. This allows me to work around different routines and give your pets the time and attention they need without feeling rushed. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules when I can, and I do my best to keep my availability flexible for my clients. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m mindful of both the animals and the space they’re in. I always approach each visit with safety in mind, making sure doors and gates are secure, following feeding and care instructions carefully, and paying attention to anything that seems out of the ordinary. I also try to be aware of each pet’s behavior and body language so I can respond appropriately if something seems different or unusual. I understand that having someone come into your home to care for your pets is a big responsibility, and I treat that trust with respect. I’ll take care of your home as I would my own and make sure your pets receive the attention and care they need while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while giving you peace of mind that both your pets and your home are being looked after.
“Laurie is great! She really cares for the dogs and it shows. She sent lots of pictures and Maggie had a wonderful time. Maggie is looking forward to her next daycare visit.”

My grandmother’s pets are on a strict schedule, and diet therefore I understand strict diet. I’ve worked on a farm so I have experience with farm animals, small pets, and some exotic animals. In the last two years, I’ve had two sets of puppies so I know what it takes to care of puppies. My Roxy was 13 year old when we had to put her down from old age, so I know what it takes to care for a senior dog. I’m currently not working, therefore I have plenty of time to cuddle, play and care with your pets. I can send pictures and/or videos thought your vacation for peace of mind! I like taking care of pets in their own house to make them feel as safe as possible. I will follow any rules or instructions you have for your house and pets.
“Madison did a wonderful job and even took pictures of Kukka! She’s a young pup so I was nervous to leave her—- it was nice to get the updates and see how she was doing :) I hope I can coordinate a time with Madison again!!”

About: I have pet sat for my Nextdoor neighbors for years and I have also had dogs my entire life and had to take care of them I work best in the early mornings and later afternoon on weekdays and almost anytime works on weekends I’m mostly flexible and available to be there for your pets I always make sure the pets are fed and have gone potty and I make sure that there are not to many things they can get into or on top of I also notify the owner immediately if I feel something isn’t right or if they is a problem with the pet of if I have a question
About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years. I have experiences with dogs/cats, rodents, farm animals, etc. I grew up around horses and all sorts of other animals and I love them all! I currently have one dog who is the biggest goof and I absolutely adore him. I am currently pregnant so a little extra exercise on walks will never hurt! I enjoy all the cuddles and kisses as well! I love all animals as if they are my own! I’ve also recently been loving going on hikes or a trip to the dog park…if that’s something your fur baby would be interested in I would love for them to join me! I am able to take your pets on walks, run them around a fenced in yard or even just play tug of war in the house! I am comfortable crating animals, administering meds or anything else they might need!

“Julie and her family took great care of our dog Penny and treated her as their own. She had a spacious farm to roam and explore and other dogs to socialize with. This was the longest that we have left our dog but Julie provided regular updates of her visit. Our girl returned happy and tired!”

“We always try to book Traci when we’re leaving town. She is conscientious, flexible, and cheerful, and provides frequent updates with photos. We have no worries at all when we leave our pups with Traci. Our dogs love her, and she seems to really love them, too!”

“Kristina was absolutely wonderful with Callie and Sylvie! We needed care pretty last minute due to having to travel out of state for a funeral, and she was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and friendly from the start. She went above and beyond to make sure our girls were comfortable, loved, and well taken care of. I was initially a little hesitant about how they would do in a home with multiple kids since they aren’t around smallerchildren very often, but they had no issues whatsoever! They loved all the extra attention from Kristina’s boys and also enjoyed spending time with their dog, Teddy, and even their cat. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Callie and Sylvie were being cared for and treated like part of the family, especially during such a difficult and unexpected trip. We’re very grateful to Kristina and her family for taking such great care of our girls and would absolutely book with her again! 🐾❤️”

“They are great people. They were very understanding with my circumstances. Lola loved it. She was even sitter home sick lol when she came home. Lola love playing and being with the other dogs.”

“Tracy was outstanding! I’ve NEVER felt more comfortable leaving my Duke with anyone else as I did with Tracy. We received daily updates (pics/videos) of hun and it kept my mind at ease that our baby was being cares for. Thank you so much Tracy! You are a Godsend!”

“Lorena and her family were so wonderful when we had an unexpected trip come up and needed boarding for our pup over a long weekend. We appreciated the offer of a Meet ‘n Greet as well as the daily photos she sent. Harper loved running in their fenced-in backyard and seemed like she didn’t even want to leave when we picked her up, hah! We will definitely rebook Lorena for our future petsitting needs.”
