“Abby did a great job taking care of our 2cats and 2 dogs. She really went above and beyond. She left the home in excellent condition, and even washed the sheets and towels! She got our mail and packages for us while we were gone and took out our trash for us. Communication was excellent and we received pics of our fur babies during our trip. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“Isabel is amazing! She was very communicative and loving with our pup! So very thankful that we have someone we can trust to stay in our home with our pup when we’re away! Thank you, Isabel! Can’t wait to have you over again!”

“Ashlend was awesome! I found her very last minute due to some last minute plans. Even though she already had other dogs she was taking care of she made it work. She made sure to come meet everyone ahead of time and sent sweet pictures. When we got home it was like we never left because I think everyone was so comfortable with Ashlend here. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and animals hold a special place in my heart . I’m currently a Pre-Veterinary student at the University of Central Missouri, and for the past five years, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant at Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic, where my dad is a veterinarian. I’ve also been pet sitting for the past two years, caring for pets of all ages—from playful 10-month-old to sweet 12-year-old seniors. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic dogs, and I always make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I truly consider the dogs I care for as part of my extended family, and I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend and give them the same love and attention I’d give my own. I currently work part-time as a veterinary assistant, and I’m typically available every day except Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On those days, I occasionally have morning or afternoon availability, and I’m always available after 6 PM. I offer in-home care, boarding, and drop-in visits. Even on my busiest days, I always have a lunch break, so I’m never away from pets in my care for more than six hours at a time. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priority, and I strive to provide dependable, loving care at all times. I have a fully fenced yard and one friendly Great Dane who can be easily kenneled or separated as needed. My home also features a dedicated, dog-proofed room that’s perfect for free roaming and playtime. Whether your pup prefers quiet relaxation or active engagement, I’m able to provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment tailored to their needs.

About: My name is Leala (pronounced like Layla)! I grew up around dogs that are lots of different breeds and sizes. From Chihuahuas to German Shepherd. I’m passionate about providing safe, fun, and fulfilling walks that keep dogs happy and healthy. And, of course, making sure your pup gets all their built-up energy out! I can’t wait to meet your furry friend and make sure they get the best walk every time! Ps. I can also care for cats and rabbits! :) I am available any time on the weekends to do walks, drop ins, or pet-sitting! I do work during the week until 2 pm. I am open to doing walks or drop ins at any time after 2 pm on weekdays. I'm also available to pet-sit if the pet is allowed to be left alone 8 am - 2 pm Monday thru Friday. Other than that I would stay with your pets the rest of the time if thats what you request! I ensure that your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care. I follow any specific instructions given by the pet owner regarding feeding, medications, and routines. I ensure their environment remains clean and tidy, provide companionship, engage in playtime, and give them plenty of attention. If it's a dog, I also make sure they get their daily walks and exercise! I will also send regular updates and pictures to keep owners informed and reassured that their pets are well cared for.

About: I've had pets my whole life, large and small dogs, and cats. I also have 100+ hrs walking dogs at the local shelter. Making sure they're happy and well taken care of genuinely makes me happy. I do have a full time job at a daycare center, but I'm free after 3pm on weekdays and any time on weekends. I can do overnights at my house any day of the week. I have a large field behind my house, my yard is not fenced. I always have my dog on a leash when outside and do not kennel her when I'm gone. I do have a kennel if it's needed.

“Holly was fabulous! She took such good care of our Jax and Bailey while we were on vacation in Mexico! They both loved her, as was evident from the photos she sent regularly. She gave them lots of love and attention and went out of her way with some extras as well! Great communication and very respectful of our home while visiting. We were able to thoroughly enjoy our vacation knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend and I hope she will consider sitting again!”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages! My dog Prada is a Rottweiler mix and she is almost 8 years old. She is super calm and chill! We also have two other family dogs, Kova (6 yr old lab mix) and Crimson (8 yr old Pomsky). They keep us on our toes and have very different personalities! Kova is very timid and scared of most things! Her fear comes out in aggression and has taught me patience in dealing with her fearful behavior. Crim is very hyper and full of energy! He is becoming blind with his old age and is teaching us a lot about working with a dog that has extra needs. Along with my family dogs I have experience dog sitting for friends and neighbors and volunteering with shelters. I think I have great experience with different dog breeds, ages and personalities. I would love to meet and take care of your pup! I am currently available most days and times to care for your pets. I am very flexible and can work around different schedules. I am very laid back and would love a last minute request to visit with your furry friends! I do have lots of experience with cats and dogs as well as experience volunteering at a pit-bull rescue walking the dogs. I learned safety in walking and behavior. I am cautious in checking that all doors and gates are closed as well as checking and being aware of my surroundings.

About: I’ve known I would work with animals my whole life. I started dog sitting as a young teen and have continued to care for pets throughout my life. I’ve also spent over six years working in grooming shops, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My animal experience goes far beyond dogs — I’ve spent time around cats, horses, small barn animals, reptiles, fish, and more. I personally own a high-energy husky, and in the past, I’ve owned fish, a leopard gecko, and even ducks — so I’m comfortable with a wide range of care routines and species! I also have specific experience working with fearful and reactive dogs. I understand the patience and awareness it takes to help them feel safe and supported. I always move at the animal’s pace, using calm energy and positive reinforcement to build trust. While house sitting, I’m happy to attempt basic grooming tasks like nail trims or possibly haircuts, depending on the pet’s comfort level. My grooming background gives me the skills to approach these tasks gently and safely. I offer drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays in your home (I’m not able to host pets at mine). While I do work during the day, I make sure every pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care when I’m there. If you’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about animals — I’d love to connect and meet your crew! I currently work as a groomer’s assistant in the mornings and typically finish by 5 p.m., which gives me early mornings and plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to care for your pets I am unable to care for your pet at my home, but am happy to come to yours! As noted before, I have lots of experience caring for both cats and dogs, and know how to keep them safe. If you do not have a fenced in yard, I will be sure to let your dog out on a leash.

I have taken animal behavior classes and have worked with dogs that are more difficult, but we’re just misunderstood. I currently have a full time job, working mainly in the afternoons, sometimes evenings. But my schedule is also pretty flexible! About: I’ve been taking care of pets like puppies, kittens, rodents and disabled dogs for over 8 years. I grew up with dogs my whole life, two of them being disabled but I was still able to love and care for them just as much as any other dog. I am a musician and my animals love every time I practice in front of them. I mainly play cello for my border collie, but I also play guitar, piano, and others. He loves joining me and enjoying the music. It’s very calming to my dogs, and I know it will calm others! I am willing to come in and simply play for your pets, or I can play while I’m watching them. No extra fees required, but appreciated! I am currently working part-time when needed, but am looking to service during the week and weekend. My schedule varies highly, so message me and we will talk about availability! I live in a large, rental home with a dog park nearby. I also have pets of my own to keep your fur baby company! I own a 1 year old border collie that loves to interact with other playful pets. I also have a yorkie and kitten that he loves to play with, and is still gentle in every way. My kitten stays in one room and my yorkie wonders the house frequently, but she is normally napping.

“Bridget was very friendly and made sure to send us so many picture updates of her time spent with our pup! She gave him lots of outdoor time and play time, I would highly recommend her!”

About: My husband and I currently live in Olathe and I work in the Overland Park area. We are huge animal lovers and have more than 6 years of Extra-large breed dog ownership and care. We have had (2) St. Bernard’s and a Labrador. So it is safe to say that I am a confident large-dog walker/caretaker. I also spent my high school and college years farm sitting, which consisted of caring for multiple types of animals at one time, most very large! It is my goal to make you feel confident that not only is your pet given adequate exercise and care, but that they are cared for safely and with the same standards that I have for my own animals. Cats are also more than welcome! Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, as I work from home and am present all day. This flexibility allows me to provide continuous attention and care to your pets, ensuring they receive the companionship and supervision they need. I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, regular walks, playtime, and any special care instructions throughout the day. This constant presence helps maintain a stable environment for your pets, contributing to their well-being and happiness. Caring for pets in my home or my clients’ homes involves maintaining their routines, providing regular meals, administering medications if needed, and ensuring they receive plenty of exercise and affection. I also keep their living spaces clean and safe, engage them with stimulating activities, and monitor their health and behavior closely. Consistent communication with pet owners ensures I meet all specific needs and preferences, providing peace of mind and excellent care for their beloved pets.

About: I have worked with dogs and cats my whole life and love every minute of it! Aside from pet sitting for various friends and neighbors, I have worked at the vet for 3 years and have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am also comfortable giving any prescribed medications, insulin injections, or supplements they might require. I have moved to Kansas city temporarily and am giving veterinary clinic work a break for a bit so I have open availability during the week! Between volunteering at shelters and working at the vet I have been well trained in pet safety and precautions to take to ensure that no pet gets loose or harmed. While walking your fur baby they will always be on a double leash with me to ensure their safety in any event and precautions will be taken during any interaction with other dogs (if that is something you would like to allow).
