“Michelle was so amazing, it warmed my heart to know someone was actually giving my cat love and attention as much as I would because that’s usually a pet owners biggest fear. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. About: I've had my cat for a while, she came to my door in November so it was rainy and cold and I posted her and called the pound and nobody claimed her and the pound said to leave her outside and they'll see if they can come get her. I decided to keep her and she was mine from then.
About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. I treat every pet as if it were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I attend school online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to travel for pet-sitting jobs and even stay overnight when needed, as long as there’s Wi-Fi so I can keep up with my classes. Since I’m currently applying for more jobs, my availability is open and adaptable, making it easy for me to provide consistent, reliable care for pets whenever I’m needed. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible so the pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide regular feeding, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of affection. I also take time to clean up after them, whether that’s refreshing litter boxes, wiping paws, or tidying up their spaces. If I’m staying overnight, I make sure the home stays neat and the pets get extra attention and companionship. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and loving environment while keeping the owner’s home just as they left it.
About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.

About: I worked at Summit Pet Care for four years. I worked in the daycare, front desk, and kennels department. I have made valuable relationships with several clients. For those clients I have pet sat for them while they have been out of town. I have also walked many of their pups during a busy for them. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: I keep water out all day so they are not thirsty. I feed my dogs once in the morning and then before bed. I take them put multiple times a day either to potty or play but they are always on the leash. I play with them inside also. I'm a big cuddler with pets if the animal will allow me haha. They are allowed on furniture bed or couch does not matter. My daughter is a big animal person too she loves both dogs and cats and will sit there and watch TV with them or even fall asleep on them haha. I have had 6 years of personal experience with animals they have not be consecutively but all together it has been 6 years. Im a stay at home mom so im pretty available aside from the random appointments. I have 3 kids that all love animals and always want to play with our own animals or help feed and water them. They want to be the ones to let them out to potty and feed them. I have a big fenced in yard for the dogs and kids to play and run in. They are allowed on furniture so we all cuddle up on the furniture. I also have some dog toys. I can offer a separate space for those dogs that want to me alone.
