About: For my entire life, I’ve owned dogs and cats. I’ve also had hamsters, birds, and fish. Friends and neighbors have often had me take care of their pets in their homes while they’ve been away on vacation. Being away is only easy for the owners if their furbabies are happy, safe, and well taken care of. This is what I strive for every single time. I am a newly retired teacher after 30 years in the classroom! So my schedule is extremely flexible. I’m looking to stay busy helping to take care of your babies while you are away on vacation or dropping in during the day while you’re working. If your pet were to stay at my house, my husband and I currently have two golden retrievers and an indoor cat. Our yard is fenced in completely. We do have a pool in which the dogs are allowed to swim in. We play lots of fetch, frisbee, and laser chasing in our big back yard. We also use crates when we’re not at home due to our goldens being so young. (Both under 2 years old). We feed our pets twice a day with treats given also. Our kids are adults and out on their own, so all of our attention is given to our dogs and cat! They rule the roost! In your home, I would follow your routine so that your pet would stay happy and healthy. I would also send lots of pictures throughout my time with them so you would feel comfortable knowing they were being well taken care of!

“Stephanie was perfect! Will definitely re-book.”

“Hailey is the best! She handled our wild husky so well! She provided us with updates, pictures, and kept us at ease during our trip! She is so nice and courteous and treated our home with care! It’s great to know we have someone we can trust our dog and home with!! Will def be using her again!”

“Paola took the best care of my little boy! You can tell she truly has a heart for pets. I was so nervous to leave him for the first time but she exceeded my expectations in her care for him. She sent me tons of pics and the communication was great. Leepy misses Paola! We will definitely be rebooking.”

“Anthony was great! Took good care of a Denver with lots of walks and trips to our dog park. Very easy to communicate with him , it was nice to know Denver was in good hands. He even sent pictures everyday of her!”

“Needed to find someone to stay in our home to watch over our six-month-old, 30 lb. Boxer, Esmee for a few hours. A rather tall order to fill since it's not easy to find an in-your-own-home sitter who's also willing to engage with a very energetic puppy. Haven't ever used any type of pet sitting service before, so I was a little apprehensive about giving Rover.com a try. Am so glad I did! Since it was our first booking with Amanda, she set up a first meeting/visit with us at our home several days before sitting date. Esmee was pretty full of herself that day, but Amanda wasn't fazed by all the bust-my-buttons wiggling, and was willing and happy to get to know and play with Esmee”

“Gabriela was absolutely wonderful for my kiddos. I was very comfortable leaving them in her care. And I would highly recommend her to anyone who loves their dog(s) and cat(s).”

“Cynthia was excellent taking care of my babies. She was always on time and took good care of them. Always informing me everythime she was there and sending pictures. I trust her and I will be using her again! Thank you Cynthia 🫶”

“David is a responsible and trustworthy person. He watched our dog for ten days in our home and we returned to a happy dog and a clean and well cared for home. We would not hesitate to book David again!”

About: With a decade of experience in house sitting and personal pet care, I provide trustworthy and attentive services tailored to your pet’s needs. My background includes caring for various breeds, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve while you are away. I specialize in creating a comfortable environment for your pets, whether it involves daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. My commitment is to ensure your furry friends feel safe and happy in their own home. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. I prioritize my schedule to ensure that I dedicate ample time for walks, play, and training sessions. Each day begins with early morning walks, allowing pets to enjoy fresh air and exercise. Throughout the day, I maintain a flexible schedule that accommodates feeding times, medication administration, and regular check-ins for any special needs. My evenings are reserved for quality bonding time, ensuring each pet feels loved and secure before bedtime. This structured yet adaptable approach allows me to provide consistent care while also being responsive to the unique needs of each pet. In my home and my clients’ homes, safety is paramount. I conduct thorough assessments of the environment to identify potential hazards and ensure a secure space for pets. I use baby gates to restrict access to unsafe areas and keep harmful substances out of reach. During pet care visits, I maintain a clean environment by regularly sanitizing areas where pets spend time. I provide updates via text or photos during visits to reassure them about their pet’s well-being. Additionally, I create a calm atmosphere by using familiar scents and toys from home, helping pets feel comfortable in new surroundings. My goal is always to foster a safe and nurturing environment where pets can thrive.

“Brandi took the best care of our cat during the hurricane! I was really worried, but knowing she was looking after him gave me so much relief. I felt completely at ease, and I knew he was safe, happy, and in great hands!!”

I am always flexible and willing to work with pet owners to help cater to whatever needs there may be. I’m currently working part-time as a private caregiver and create my own schedule. I’m completing an internship as a dog trainer with Ridgeside K9 - Tampa which also allows me to be home more and create a very flexible schedule to tend to my animals when they need me. When caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and nurturing environment tailored to each pet’s needs and personality. “First time using Rover & I was absolutely relieved & happy with how smoothly it all worked out! Placing trust in someone was a HUGE deal for us, with both leaving our pets & our home in someone’s hands. Olga took great care of our fur kids while we were away. She provided updates of her comings and goings, and sent daily pictures of our gang. Thank you, Olga!!”

About: My mother has owned dogs my entire life, but a year ago I adopted my dog Onyx, and he changed my life. He and my newly adopted dog Mocha keep me going every day. I love spending time with my dogs and love working with new dogs because eventually I do want to become a dog trainer. FYI: My legal name is Dominick Cobin, but I prefer using my mom's maiden last name of Ruocco. I currently work Monday through Friday as an electrician, but I am free on nights and weekends. I am willing to do whatever is needed to gain experience working with dogs other than my own because eventually I do want to become a full-time dog trainer. I would care for other people's pets as if they were my own. I will always care for them as their owners instructed, even if it differs from something I do for my own. I would want others to respect my wishes, so I will respect other people's wishes when it comes to their dogs. I know how important mine are to me, so I understand.

“Taylor was very good with Hunter. He had a couple of skin infections and she was on top of it! He had a trip to the vet and a trip to the ER. She made sure he had his medicine, daily exercise, food and water, and made sure he wore the dreaded cone. Taylor took very good care of him. Taylor gave us daily updates and pictures of Hunter. If she had a question, she asked. Taylor also stayed at our house. She treated it as her own. Everything was in order when we came home. Bedding (ours and Hunters) was washed. We were very pleased with the care Taylor gave Hunter and our home.”
