In addition, she left a final day's report to let us know if we were running low on any supplies. I found Sammy to be respectful, communicative, responsible and she left the house neat and clean. The ONLY room for improvement would be if Freya was walked on her leash; - she is a puller and strong willed though, so I understand why! Sammy was wonderfully patient with Freya and her escapades of escaping our yard, and we worked together to find the right solution for keeping her safe and getting outdoor time. I can tell our cat loved the attention he got and I think he misses Sammy!”

“Meredith was great with my two pups! — 13-year-old German Shepherd who had emergency surgery the day prior and 10-week-old English Cream Retriever who is very high energy and not yet potty trained. Meredith watched my pups in my home while I was away at work. I was updated hourly with photos. She was a pro at taking care of my puppy and followed my instructions to the tee. She even gave my senior pup her pain medication when she seemed uncomfortable. Both my pups were very happy when I returned. I will definitely be using Meredith again in the future!”
About: I have 8 years of pet care experience, starting at age 15. I’ve had animals my whole life, and would love to share my love for my animals to provide attentive, reliable care. I’m a part time nanny with very flexible hours which gives me lots of availability for walks, drop in’s, feeling and playtime throughout the day. I am happy to care for your pet in their own home where they’re most comfortable. I care for pets with love and attention upon each animals preference. About: Even though this is my first year being a sitter, I’ve had pets in my whole life so I know how to have really good pet care and I also love animals over humans so I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals no matter what. Also, I am majoring in a degree to where I could graduate to go take care of animals in the future! It helps me experience and help me for my future, and it also gives me a time to get stuff off of my brain after classes, kinda like a reset of my day! I make sure they eat when they want to take them out when they need to whether it means just taking them out in the front yard to play, use the bathroom or to go on a walk. I also love spending time with my animals and other peoples animals, so I’ll take the time to play with them inside if needed and give them all the love in the cuddles needed!

About: I love dogs, and love to be around them! I can provide dog walking, doggie playtime, take them to the dog park for you, feed them, or just give them lots of snuggles! I have had pets all my life, and dogs for most of that. I used to own my own petsitting business, and loved every minute of it. I am very trustworthy and responsible. I specialize in small dogs, especially dachshunds, but all dogs are amazing and are welcome! I try my best to accomodate everyone! I am self employed so very flexible! Unfortunately I cannot host as my landlord doesn't allow pets (Cara is an exception). Keep in mind that during house sitting <especially 24 hr house suits> I will need to bring Cara with me. She LOVES other dogs so that is not an issue at all! I am available anytime to watch your furry companions! I work for myself so I am extremely flexible! I can't wait to meet your babies! Unfortunately, other than Cara, my landlord has a no pets policy so I cannot host. We can go for car rides though, or to the park, or a nice long walk!

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
