About: I have done drop in and overnight care for family member's pets for many years. I am a life long animal lover and have cats and/or dogs my whole life. I also did some volunteer care at an animal shelter while in college. I am a stay at home mom of three (9, 7, and 5 year olds) kids who also love animals so I have the availability to provide a lot of time and attention. I have a fenced in yard in a beautiful country setting and two playmates for your pup. Robin is 13 year old chocolate lab mix, who we rescued from the roadside. She gave birth to 8 puppies about 2 months later and we were able to find loving homes for them all. We also have Emmett, who is a shepherd/spaniel mix that we adopted as a puppy during covid. He can be shy around new people, but loves to play with any dog he has met.

This way, our puppy would get to know Rikki and her family (and vice versa) and her home, and also know that each time she was left there to play, I always came back to get her and take her home. Well, next week is the big "leave", and our pup Juliet has had those 3 weekly play days. Familiarity has been achieved by all, and I feel a lot better knowing she will be taken care of in a nice family home, a family that she already knows and loves... and we can feel at peace while on our vacation.
