About: I grew up with all sorts of animals. I’ve been pet/house sitting since I was 18 (31 now). I provide a loving and caring environment for your fur babies! Lots of love and treats. Able to give medication to your babies or stay with strict diets. Whatever your pet needs I can do :) I just moved to the area and haven’t found a job yet so my availability is 24/7 :) available for last minute trips or ones planned months in advance I have a border collie about to be 8 years old. We currently live in a travel trailer but he gets multiple walks and play time through out the day. He gets two meals a day and a never empty water bowl and lots of treats! And he loves making new furry friends wherever he goes

About: I’ve been trusted with every sort of pet from a tiny lizard to a giant horse. I also have years of experience working in a veterinary hospital and providing care to young and old pets. I currently work as a Behavioral therapist for kids with autism. I don’t start my work day until 12 pm and have plenty of time in between clients to care for your sweet animals. With a flexible schedule and plenty of time before and after work I can ensure all pets will get the time and care they deserve. I have a big fenced yard that my dog freely runs in. Where I also take my bunny and cat on frequent walks. All of my pets are very friendly and love the company of other animals.

About: I have owned dogs, horses, chickens and pigs my entire life. Prior to having my twins, I worked at a vet office for three years as a receptionist and vet assistant. While working at the vet office, I pet sat for clients dogs and cats when they went out of town. I also worked at a pet boarding facility before the vet, but at both places I cared for all the animals as if they were my own. I am currently working part-time night shift, I am a mom to my twin daughters that are three years old and my son who is seven months old. My husband is a mobile mechanic and makes his own schedule so if there is a prior commitment that I have my husband can be around for the short time that I am out. I treat every animal and home I pet sit at as if they're my own! I love sharing pictures with the clients to ensure they can feel at ease that they’re pet is being well cared for.

I will care for your pets as if they were my own! Anything that your pet needs, I guarantee I will take care of it. I am available part-time to come to your home and drop in on your pets, or to stay with them in their home while you're away! INTRODUCTIONS **Two situations for introductions:** - Introducing a new dog to resident dogs in the household. - Introducing dogs to each other at a dog park or social gathering. **Introduction procedure:** - Introductions should occur in neutral territory to minimize territorial behavior. - Use leashes initially to control the dogs and ensure safety. - Observe body language closely for signs of aggression or stress (e.g., raised hackles, stiff posture). - Allow sniffing and initial interaction in a controlled manner. **Warning signs I watch for:** - Growling, snapping, or excessive barking. - Stiff body posture, ears pinned back, or tail raised stiffly. - Attempted dominance displays (mounting, head-over-shoulder posture). **Reaction to stress signs:** - Immediately separate the dogs if signs of stress or aggression appear. - Redirect their attention calmly and assess the situation before attempting further introductions. FEEDING **Feeding multiple pets at once:** - Separate feeding areas for each pet to prevent resource guarding. - Feed pets in crates or gated areas if necessary. - Supervise meal times and maintain a calm environment to reduce anxiety. ANXIETY **Calming anxious pets:** - Create a comfortable, safe space with familiar items (e.g., their bed, toys). - Use calming techniques such as gentle petting, soothing voice, or soft music. - Engage in low-stress activities like short walks or play sessions to distract from anxiety. **Communication with owner:** - Document any signs of anxiety observed, including frequency and severity. - Provide updates to the owner via text or email, detailing activities and behavior changes. - Suggest strategies for the owner to continue managing anxiety after the stay ends. By following these safety protocols, I'm well-prepared to handle various situations that may arise while dog sitting, ensuring the safety and well-being of the pets under my care.

I live down the street from some dog friendly hiking trails and my backyard is quite large so the energetic pups are always happy.
