“We had an excellent experience all around. Madison was able to help us out on short notice and took perfect care of our dog and bunny. We’ve never used a dog sitter before and now we will never use a kennel again. Thanks Madison!”

About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my well-rounded experience and genuine love for animals of all ages. I’ve cared for energetic puppies, mellow senior pets, and everything in between. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need—whether that’s playtime, a slow walk, or just some quiet company. I’ve also had experience with basic training, helping puppies learn good habits early on. I treat every pet like family and always aim to create a safe, loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. As a student-athlete at Montreat College, my schedule is busy but structured, which helps me stay organized and make time for what I love—caring for pets. Taking care of animals is actually a fun and relaxing getaway from the demands of school and sports. I already care for my own Maltipoo and cat, so it’s second nature to fit walks, playtime, and feedings into my day. It’s something I look forward to and take seriously, always making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always aim to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow the pet’s routine closely—sticking to their feeding schedule, walk times, play habits, and any special instructions you provide. In a client’s home, I respect the space and make sure everything is clean and secure. If pets stay with me, they’ll have a cozy spot to relax, plenty of attention, and time outside for walks and play. I focus on keeping things calm and consistent so your pet feels right at home, even when you’re away.

“She followed my instructions with my spicy cattle dog extremely well and was able to build a safe friendship with him. He’s very weird with people and sometimes offers to bite if you don’t approach him in a special way. I gave her specific instructions for his success and she did great! Both of my dogs were very happy to have her check on them and to meet her. I will definitely be having her care for them again.”

“Natasha was so awesome! She was able to accommodate my last minute request with so much grace and patience. She understood my chaotic instructions and followed them to a tee. She was super responsive and communicative while i was out of town, and she is just a gem of a gal for this kind of thing! I will absolutely be getting a hold of her again the next time i need a sitter. Thanks again Natasha ?”

“My cat was very calm and trusting with Grace from her first introduction even though Spider is now older and more cautious. She therefore allowed Grace to brush her during visits which was my key request. ++cj”

“Ellie is AMAZING. Our pup loves when she comes over, and she takes amazing care of him. She was flexible when weather changed out plans, and communicated with us about everything. We have had the privilege of working with her a couple of times, and will do so again in the future!”

About: I’ve been a life-long animal lover and pet caretaker for my own furry family members and others as well. I’ve cared for small cats and dogs up to 100+ pound doggos. If your pet needs to be picked up or carried that’s no issue for me! I own and operate a business that allows me a lot of flexibility and free time so I can care for my pets and yours almost any time. My 3 dogs are my family. We share living spaces, eating spaces and napping spaces! I love sharing car rides with them and taking them on walks with the family.

“Maysen was a great choice! Arrived on time , takes care of the pups like her own. Did everything needed to put my mind at ease . Lots of updates throughout the day . I would highly suggest giving Maysen your business!”

“Thank you so much! I messed up and forgot to schedule a sitter for one of the days we were gone and Kayla was great! She went over when she was able to to take care of them for us. Very thankful and would book again!”

“We deeply appreciated Natalie caring for our two cats while we were away. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only taking care of their physical needs, but taking the time to pet and cuddle Wilma. She was even able to eventually coax Juniper out of hiding. Juniper is our feral cat which we are working on taming. Since this was our first sitter, I was apprehensive about leaving our cats with a stranger, but through the pictures and notes she sent every day, my anxiety was soon eased. Natalie is a wonderful sitter and we definitely want to use her again. She did a GREAT job. Thank You, Libby Miller”

She has been a caring and responsible pet care giver with an understanding of what they need to be both healthy and happy. One of the main reasons I would trust my pets with Dawn is that she really understands that pets are family. She has a strong connection to her own pets and she cares about others deeply enough to know how important the health, safety, and happiness of our little fur babies is to us. If you would like your pet to be not just safe and healthy but to also find their new best friend then Dawn is who you should select.”

Carly M.
“I'm here today to recommend Carly as an incredible-responsible pet sitter. I've seen first hand how she takes care of animals and takes it very seriously. She is detailed, professional, and loving with all animals. She is very responsible and dedicated to the care of dogs, chickens, horses, and cats. Anyone would be very lucky to have her care for their animals. Carly is one of the sweetest, kindest people I know. Her vast knowledge and experience with animals was very important to me. I trust her with all of my chickens, dogs, and cats.”
