About: We lost our last little guy in February 2024. It’s the first time in 35+ years without at least one dog under the same roof, and it’s felt like something essential is missing. I have such a love for dogs, and would love to pass that on to yours while you have to be away from them. That’s my main reason for being a Rover Sitter. I’m semi-retired and work from home, so your dog(s) will get my full attention. Your dog(s) will get care, love, playtime and exercise. Outside, they'll be supervised, whether they’re just roaming, playing or doing their business. I myself love to walk, and welcome having your dog as my walking buddy. Inside, they'll get a lot of attention and affection whether playing ball, or just chilling out. If you've got a senior, I am very experienced in that care, whether simple TLC, boosts when standing, meds, multiple bathroom breaks, etc. Our dogs were allowed on the furniture, and slept on the bed with us; I respect and will follow your rules for that, though. For those who like to sleep in their own "den," I have a lot of experience with crate training also. I'm happy to do a meet-and-greet before the first visit to make sure everybody's comfortable -- both canine and human. Photos and updates are happily available while you're away. I work from home, and have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I can sit with your dog(s) any day of the week and/or weekend. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my well-rounded experience and genuine love for animals of all ages. I’ve cared for energetic puppies, mellow senior pets, and everything in between. As a student-athlete at Montreat College, my schedule is busy but structured, which helps me stay organized and make time for what I love—caring for pets. Taking care of animals is actually a fun and relaxing getaway from the demands of school and sports. I already care for my own Maltipoo and cat, so it’s second nature to fit walks, playtime, and feedings into my day. It’s something I look forward to and take seriously, always making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always aim to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow the pet’s routine closely—sticking to their feeding schedule, walk times, play habits, and any special instructions you provide. In a client’s home, I respect the space and make sure everything is clean and secure. If pets stay with me, they’ll have a cozy spot to relax, plenty of attention, and time outside for walks and play. I focus on keeping things calm and consistent so your pet feels right at home, even when you’re away.

About: Grew up in Florida around a lot of wildlife. Owned dogs, cats, ferrets, snakes fish etc. I love and respect all animals. I can sit in your home or mine. I didn't have fenced yard but acres of private land and can take out in leash. Available 24/7 if needed. I have 4 year old Italian Greyhound retired service dog who gets along with everyone and everything... No worries there. Please make sure your pet is NOT AGGRESSIVE. I am retired therefore my schedule is very flexible. I can stay during the day, night or even overnight if I am needed at that location. I live in condo and cannot board animals. I am willing to stay in clients homes with or without my dog being with me there

About: I have been pet sitting for the last 4 years as well as being a nanny for 4 children aged newborn to 5 years old. During my time pet sitting I have worked with single dogs as well as up to 4 dogs in a single household. I love playing with and entertaining the higher-energy extroverted pets and enjoy quiet cuddle-time with the more laid-back, philosophical ones. I have a flexible schedule that allows week-day overnights and multiple daytime check-ins with your pet. For overnight sittings, my flexible schedule allows me to check it in on your pets throughout the day, and no pet will be left unattended for more than 3 or 4 hours. I will communicate proactively and adhere to all the house rules and keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible to reduce your pet's anxiety at your absence. In addition to maintaining their regular routines, I can also brush, bathe, and blow-dry your pet while you are away! I am a considerate house-guest and will wash any dishes or towels/washcloths that I might use as well.

My mom is a licensed rehabilitator, and I gained valuable knowledge assisting her with rehabilitating birds and baby opossums. I personally have a horse, two adorable dogs, and a cat. I also have a flock of chickens! I have experience as a service dog handler and am able to administer maintenance medications to animals if needed. I have over a year of medical experience working as an Equine Veterinary Assistant as well! Taking care of animals is part of my daily routine. I am working part-time and have time when I am not working to do pet care. I understand the importance of providing animals with the attention and care that they need.
