“Wade was fantastic! We will definitely be using him again! Tito had a blast spending the weekend with Wade and would love to go back. He took him hiking and on long walks to tire him out. He sent daily updates with lots of pictures. This was our first time leaving our pup and Wade made the experience as stress free as possible. Thank you for making Tito feel right at home and caring for him like he was your pup while we were away.”

“This was the first time our dog Ollie stayed away from us. We had to fly to the West Coast for our daughter‘s wedding and had a very busy schedule leading up to the wedding itself. From the get-go, Melissa was very accommodating, loving, and patient with Ollie. She sent many pictures and videos which was greatly appreciated and communicated frequently with us. Our Dog ended up with stress colitis and she took such good care of him. It caused a lot more work for her, but she continued to care for Ollie as if he were her own. Melissa is very passionate about caring for animals and it shows through the love that she gives. She went above and beyond to make sure Ollie was comfortable and he truly enjoyed his stay with her. I have no hesitations recommending her and look forward to booking again. Thank you, Melissa, you’re the best.”

“She was amazing with my Tucker. He is very energetic and he was very happy. Fast responses to texts and plenty of pictures. Tucker was very sad to leave. Will definitely use her again.”

“Tina was Great and Bella Loved staying there !!! .... She kept me up to date on how she was doing when I was away and that made me feel Soo good. I will Definitely use her again.....!!! ❤️👍😁”

“Emily and her family were so welcoming towards Willie during his meet and greet! She consistently updated us on how Willie was adapting during his stay with texts and photos, so reassuring! She was attentive to his little quirks (like howling at the storm and needing to clap to call him inside due to his hearing issues!). Knowing he had the freedom to roam outside in the fenced-in backyard allowed us to relax while on our vacation. We will definitely call Emily first next time we need a home away from home for Willie!”

“This was our first time leaving our 8 month old pup Ash for this length of time. Jennifer and her family took such great care of him. We really appreciated all the text and photo updates. Made it easy to relax on vacation knowing he was well taken care of. We will certainly use Jennifer again. Thank you for everything!”

“Beatriz is always the best out there! I trust her more with my dog than anyone else, and my dog always comes back so happy and well taken care of. So thankful for her, she is a blessing to all dog owners!”

“Amanda and her children took very good care of our dog. He was very happy there and ate all of his food which he normally doesn't do. Amanda was very accommodating and we would love to use her services again when we are in town. Her fenced backyard was a big plus for our dog who likes to be outside. Also, our dog liked playing with her dog.”

About: I have owned my own dog for the past 15 years. Experienced with difficult eaters, medication needs, walking, playing etc. Experienced with dogs who don’t like other dogs. Currently at home most of the day most days. Will spend a lot of quality time with your pet. I’ll cater to how your pet wants to spend their time: cuddling, playing, walks, napping. I’ll provide whatever level of care and safety your pet is used to in your home and neighborhood. My goal is to make their time away from you as much like if you were there.
About: I've had animals since I was born. Mostly cats until I moved out on my own 9 years ago. Now I have 3 love bugs of dogs and 4 kitties! I've fostered dozens of cats and have been pet sitting since I was a teen. I love ALL animals :) I keep things low-stress: fresh water, playtime, belly rubs, and plenty of pics so you don’t miss a second. Whether you need a quick potty break or a week-long house sit, I’ll treat your furbaby like family. I’d love to meet your pets!! I work part time as a school bus driver. I am home for several hours throughout the day and home most evenings as well as weekends. I have a large home if day care or boarding is what you are seeking. I do have 3 dogs that are all great with other dogs. I have cats but they live on their own floor. I live on some land but I do not have a fenced yard but I do have leads if the pup isn't up for a full walk. I love a good routine. I will do my best to incorporate your schedule into mine. We're very flexible.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and would love to help out with your fur baby! I’ve cared for elderly dogs and those with medical issues. I currently work from home and teach online which allows extra flexibility to help care for animals through the week. I love dogs and will give extra love and care. No cats please. I can host your small - medium dog or will do drop in visits and walks. I have experience caring for our senior dog and recently said goodbye to him. 💔
“Kayla was amazing! She accommodated us last minute and agreed to watch our doggie even though he had little experience with cats. She consistently updated us and took great care of my fur baby. I highly recommend Kayla!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, have over 20 years experience working with dogs. I’ve worked with puppies to senior dogs including ones with disabilities. I personally had a dog that lost her mobility due to a spinal cord injury but with hard work and consistency I was able to teach her to walk again. I work for myself from my house so I have plenty of time to help with your fur baby. I currently have one dog after our second one recently passed. Her and I go on two or three walks daily each over 2 miles. She would love to have a friend to play with again. I have a large back yard and a super pet friendly two year old puppy to keep your dog company. If need be I can crate your dog but highly unlikely it’ll ever be needed.
About: I am currently a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have been certified since 2024, and working in the veterinary field since 2020. I have been trained to care for animals big and small. I started my career working with horse but have now gone into small animal medicine working with dogs and cats. I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, horses, fish, bunnies, and even chickens. I am currently working part time as a CVT. I recently just had a baby, so I now get to spend more time at home with her and my pups! My availability fluctuates each week but typically Mondays, Wednesdays and weekends I am free! We have a large farm with 40 acres. Our home is a far distance from a high traffic road tucked back in close to the woods, but just for safety your pet will always be leashed.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Donegal can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Donegal home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Donegal.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Donegal sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
