Veronica and her husband did a great job taking care of Pickles. They were willing to do a meet and greet with me before I booked to make sure our pets would mesh. My dog is usually timid with new dogs, but that was not the case here. She fit right in immediately. They send me lots of pictures, keep me updated, and my dog comes home happy and exhausted!

Jared and Ly watched our dog for the first time today and it was the best experience we have had with a dog sitter, without a doubt! She usually doesn’t eat and can be nervous for a first time, but we received so many photos that put those worries to rest! She had the best time and was so well cared for. We are so so happy to have found you and we appreciate you both!

Sad Rover wouldn’t let me tip higher! We love Jennifer! We have used her for both over night boarding and daycare service. She has been great about sending pictures and updates. Our boys always come home tired for days! Can’t wait to use her again :)

Communication was excellent. This was my first time using Rover for doggie daycare. There were multiple people on site who were helping care for the dogs during the day. My dog was able to play with other medium-sized dogs. She definitely got enough exercise, and she is a higher energy dog breed (Husky). They also sent me a picture of her playing with some other dogs. And, they have air conditioned space available indoors for hotter days. We had a good experience and I would recommend them!

Pets needs are top priority, food, water, potty, meds, outside time, etc. I will not go to the ends of the earth just to get Spot his pup cup if you know what I mean.

About: I have a companion of my own, tenji, and I use to have a beautiful pitty, so I understand how hard it may be to find a trustworthy pet sitters who will take good care of your furry friends. But have trust in me and my little home to look after your furry buddies while you work, go to important meetings or spend the day to yourself, either or, so I hope to see new faces! I currently working part time, but my boyfriend, who has experience in rover as well, will be home, when I’m not around, as he works morning and I work nights, a perfect balance to make sure your friends aren’t alone day and night. When it comes to having a new introductions I would separate or cage them and allow them to get to know each other and get use to each others presences, I had no issues in the past doing so and it leaves dogs who have not socialized before, leave with new friends and a busy day of playing

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience caring for all kinds of animals — from goats and pigs to dogs and cats! I’ve been around animals since I was a kid, so I understand their different personalities and needs. I’m patient, gentle, and always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and pets that need a little extra attention or care. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, giving medication, or helping with basic training, I make sure your pet gets the same love and consistency they’re used to at home. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a 4 year old so I am available at any time of the day and any day or the week! When caring for pets, my main focus is making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable — whether they’re in my home or yours. I always take time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and preferences so I can keep things as familiar as possible. In your home, I respect your space and follow your instructions carefully — from feeding schedules to walks and playtime. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, along with updates and photos to keep you at ease. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with lots of love, snuggles, and supervision. I treat every animal like part of the family and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for at all times.

About: I have experience with taking care of all dogs, medical needs, young at hearts and old souls alike. I have one large love that was a rescue. I have been a foster for dogs for quite some time. Every dog that has entered my home has been loved and cared for as if they were my own pups. I currently work from home which allows me to have time to supervise and interact with your pet all day. I am able to let dogs out to play or use the bathroom at least every hour if needed. I have a 6ft fence that surrounds my backyard to ensure that your dog stays safe at my home. In my house, your dog will have the ability to roam freely. My dogs are allowed on the furniture, so if that is something you are okay with, your dog will be allowed too. I do have an extra large wire crate that I used with my dogs when they were young, so you will not need to provide a crate if your dog requires that. If your dog does not use a crate, that is fine too. Charlie is a 100lb mix that is very friendly. He will play with other dogs if that is what they want and he will also lay and be very relaxed.

Lindsay took excellent care of our pup. She has a quiet, welcoming home with lots of indoor space as well as a backyard with a fence and lots of room to explore. She was attentive to our dogs needs regarding feeding and medication, and provided us with regular updates and plenty of pictures, making us feel at-ease with leaving our timid rescue pitty in her care for the afternoon.

About: We love animals! We have our dog, Dexter who is a Boston Terrier and he is 6 years old. He is super friendly and loves to have someone to play with. We also have a Persian Cat named Chloe who is the sweetest!! I have a very flexible schedule so I will have plenty of time to play with your babies! My daughter and I have been pet sitting for our friends, neighbors, and family for 2+ years. Whether it’s daily check-ins, overnight stays, or extended vacations, they know they can count on us to treat their pets like our own. I have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to be with your fur babies and give them the attention that they need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space and animals with the same respect and attention I would my own. I tailor each visit based on the pet’s needs and the service selected.

About: I had 3 different Lab Retrievers from pups to their senior years in my early teens to late 20s. I have a 2 yr old German Shepherd now. I work from home so he gets plenty of love and attention. As your dog stays with me they will get the same level of care as my 4 legged family members. We start everyday with his favorite fetch games to get some energy out. Once he calms down he gets breakfast, a short walk, then a long nap on one of his many beds around the house or a doormat. During each day he gets more fetch, structured play, and training, all followed by short naps. I have a small fenced in yard with plenty of fields for play and sidewalks to walk around my house. My dog's days are structured to keep him happy and healthy. I make sure his meals are scheduled so he isn't at risk for bloat (GDV).

Leticia is amazing! She’s the first sitter to ask me whether Corbin’s vaccines are up to date. She takes time to know the dogs and their needs, from play and exercise to food. She’s genuinely excited to see my boy when he walks through the door! And that just makes my heart so happy. She even took him with her family for a hike up table rock state park while I was at work. To use all the cliches: Leticia is a lifesaver. I feel like I struck gold when I found her. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Lety!

About: Worked for Cleveland park animal hospital for 6 years. Took 4 years of animal care in school. Trained in feeding, walking, and handling any sized animals. I have pretty much open availability! Sunday through Saturday! I no longer work full time and wanted to care for animals on my own schedule! my top priorities are safety, comfort, and routine. I take time to learn each pet’s needs, personality, and any special instructions so I can keep their day feeling familiar and stress-free.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Donalds

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 347 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Donalds. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Donalds commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 347 sitters in Donalds, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
