“Jim is amazing, easily 5 star+ rating if I could give more. Jim was very nice from the initial request to housesit and look after Stitch, Scout and Meeko (2 small dogs and a cat). Once meeting Jim I immediately felt trust in him looking after the furbabies. Meeko would not stop rubbing his leg, Stitch got belly rubs and Scout warmed up to him so fast. Jim sent updates and lots of pictures to keep me updated on how they boys were while I was away. Jim is my #1 for when I need to travel again and happy to hear he would welcome the opportunity again.”

“Elizabeth is a true gem, she stayed over a couple nights with our Nugget kitty. She was amazing, went above and beyond expectations. Followed all the detailed notes for caring for Nugget, spent time and played a lot with her. We got many pictures and videos of Nugget. There was an unexpected problem where the AC cut out the second night, we talked her through how to get it going with no luck, and offered her to leave instead of staying that night without AC. Like a trooper, she said I am staying. We came home to find our cat happy, like she didn't even miss us! and the house was better than we left it, clean kitchen, mail and trash picked up, including laundry of sheets etc she used! We definitely want Elizabeth back again, so does Nugget!”

About: I’ve been taken care of dogs of any kind for more than 12 years, my favorite part is discovering their personalities. All my friends and family are surprised of how good is my energy with dogs. I love them! You can count on me anytime! I can spend all day long with them and never get tired. Is great when we walk together tho! My sweetie Chihuahua lives in a very clean, safe and friendly environment, where he can be hisself. No discrimination at all! He have always food, water and toys available, and so much love.

“Carmela was my first experience arranging in-my-home petsitting with Rover. I had concerns about whether a complete stranger would work out OK for our Shih Tzu girls. And my husband and I weren’t entirely comfortable with the idea of leaving a new-to-us petsitter alone in our home for a week while we were thousands of miles away. When Carmela stopped over for a Meet & Greet, we agreed to give Rover a try and book her as our first Rover petsitter. Our girls seemed to like her, and now that we’ve returned home, we can say that not only do we like her, too, but we also trust her with our girls and our hone. We were delighted to receive photos of our girls during her stay. They looked happy, and that built our confidence in her and in using Rover. Carmela had some questions during her stay, and we were able to respond to them quickly enough to assist her. The most important condideration for us was whether our girls would be as safe and happy with her as they are with their usual (non-Rover) petsitter. Our concerns were put to rest when she noticed some pee on their pad that looked Iike it may have had some blood in it. This had never occurred before with either of our girls. We were so pleased with the way she handled this unexpected challenge. Carmela stayed calm and did not rush them in to be tested by a vet. She sent us photos and together we were able to decide to monitor the situation further before seeking professional medical assistance. Thankfully, this happened near the end of her stay. When we returned home, we watched the girls very closely and were relieved that this observation did not recur. So, all’s well that ends well :) This experience in particular reinforced to us that we had made the right decision by choosing Carmela to stay with our girls. She handled it like a pro, and now we know she is a good match for our girls. We would book Carmela again and would recommend her to other pet parents who are concerned whether Rover would be a good fit for their little loved ones.”
