About: Hi, I’m Abby! 🐾 I’ve cared for animals through 4-H and pet sitting alongside my mom, and I’m now starting my own pet care business. I love all animals—furry, scaly, and feathery! From cats and dogs to birds, reptiles, and small animals, I provide dependable, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’ll treat your animals like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away! Pet care has always been a huge part of my life! 🐾 After working full-time at a dog kennel, I decided to follow my passion and start my own pet care business. Now, I’m able to make caring for animals a part of my everyday life! My days and weeks are filled with caring for pets, giving them love and attention, keeping up with their routines, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable while their families are away. I love that my work allows me to meet new animals and build special bonds with each one. 💕 I treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would my own! 🏡💕 I’m happy to bring in mail, keep things tidy, follow any house routines, and make sure everything is safe and secure. I don’t mind sleeping over and staying with your pets, especially if they’re more comfortable having someone around. My goal is to leave your home just as I found it while making sure your pets feel loved, comfortable, and cared for! 🐾

About: I have been around dogs all my life, mostly big mutts, and actively caring for the family dog since the age of 10. I trained my parents last 2 labradors (always a fun breed). I have elderly dog experience both with a big malamute/shepherd mix and a diaper wearing rat terrier. So I am used to the individualized care that different dogs need. On the fun side of things, long walks, fetch and tug o war are my specialities! I can groom, bathe, give medications, play, walk, run, snuggle, scratch and provide whatever care you prescribe for your favorite family member! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I can run on your schedule. If dog sitting, I only need an couple hours in the afternoon to walk my parents dog. If your pup enjoys other dogs and you are comfortable with it they can come along too. My own 3 year old dog is walked at least 4 times a day. He is a lab so he enjoys long walks and trips to the beach, bay, hiking trails, and dog park. I make sure he gets tug of war time and he loves my cats laser pointer. We keep him supplied with dry food at all times because he does not overeat. He gets wet food once a week and an ample supply of people food whenever anyone is in the kitchen. But this is just how my family cares for our pups. I will strive to interrupt your dog's normal routine as little as possible.

“Working with Felicia was amazing! She took great care of our cats and gave us very detailed reports on their care. This made us feel extremely comfortable while we were away, knowing they were in great hands. Felicia is great at responding and goes above and beyond as a sitter. Would definitely recommend her for your pet needs and would love to work with her again. Thanks again!”

About: Hi! I’m an EMT and lifelong animal lover who brings the same calm, responsible energy to pet sitting that I bring to my work. I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable staying calm when things don’t go exactly as planned — your pup is in good hands with me! I’m also someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs, whether that means going for a walk, playing, exploring, or settling in for a good old-fashioned snuggle session. 🐾 I’m clean, respectful of your home, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’ll make sure your furry friend gets plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship while you’re away. Basically: responsible enough to trust with your home, fun enough to keep your dog entertained, and always available for a good cuddle. ❤️🐶 I have other commitments which are flexible, this allows me to be thoughtful about the bookings I take on. I’m happy to work with your routine and your pet’s needs whenever my schedule allows. I value quality time over rushing from one visit to the next, so when I commit to caring for your pet, I want to make sure I can give them the attention, companionship, and care they deserve. I truly believe that caring for someone’s home is an extension of caring for their pets. I treat every home I stay in with the same respect, care, and attention I would want someone to give my own. I’m naturally clean and tidy, and I take pride in leaving a space feeling just as comfortable and cared for as when I arrived. I’m respectful of personal belongings, mindful of house rules and routines, and always make sure things are secure and well looked after.

FAQs for Cat Sitting - Dividing Creek

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
