“We had a sudden event come up and Emma was able to watch our lil coco on short notice. Meeting Emma for the first time, she quickly put my anxiety about leaving coco at ease. Our lil coco was happy and had wonderful care while staying with Emma. She sent us daily photos and update on how Coco was doing! We are extremely happy with the care provided for the animals and will definitely bring Coco again.”

“Frank and Julie are the best! They are very responsive and give great updates with pictures and videos. They have a nice big fenced in area where our pup loves to run around. It’s hard for us to leave our pup, but we know she is in good hands with Frank and Julie. Highly recommend!”

“Maria’s house was perfect for my dog Tasha because Tasha HATES other animals and Maria doesn’t have any pets. Tasha was pampered, and Maria sent me some really adorable pictures of her while I was out of town. Then, when my plane was extremely delayed on my way home, Maria stayed up to past midnight so I could pick Tasha up before heading home. I was so appreciative. 10 stars!”

About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 8, it started with a cat and grew to dogs and snakes and more, working with animals is my dream job. I work factory Monday through Friday but Friday night into Sunday I am available for pet care. I have 2 cats and a dog at my own home, but I am more than happy to dog sit at others homes. I make sure my cats litter boxes are kept clean, I keep their food bowls filled, and I keep their water filled. I walk my dog a lot and I take her out every couple hours to use the bathroom.
“Very helpful in taking care of both my girls, I appreciate the pictures and Don checking in to ask about my senior baby's diet when I had some recent changes with it. Also appreciate the flexibility with pick up and drop off!”

“Our dog had a really wonderful weekend with Bobbie and Clark! Communication was great and consistent throughout the weekend. We can tell they kept her comfortable, happy, and had lots of play time as well as snuggles! The fact that our dog ate all of her meals without skipping speaks volumes to Bobbie and Clark making her feel at home in their home! I would recommend 100% and we hope to use Bobbie and Clark again in the future.”

About: I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I have experience with temperamental or reactive animals as well. Animals are my passion and both friends and family know they can rely on me to provide exceptional care, love and respect to their fur babies while they are away. No animal is too big or too small! I currently work part-time as a nanny in Oshkosh typically from 9am-2pm 3-4 days of the week, no weekend's Whether you need drop-in, boarding or in-home care I’m happy to help!! I have a beagle/boxer mix who gets daily walks and has a big fenced in yard to enjoy at our home. I also have two cats, a classic brown tabby and a petite tuxedo girly. We are unique as we bring all of our animals camping so they get to experience the outdoors with us! My animals are treated like my children and part of the family which is exactly how I would treat yours. I honestly prefer animals over humans.
“Diane and Dale went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and care for Oliver. He fit right in with their dog, Lexi, enjoyed the walks around the pond and was well-loved. I highly recommend them!”

“Brianna did a great job with my pup! She sent updates and pictures and was super easy to work with. I couldn’t be happier with how the weekend went. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a safe and loving home away from home for their pet!”

“Jasmine was fantastic! She is very professional, always responded quickly to any questions, and took great care of our puppy. She helped with some training (as the puppy was only 12 weeks old) and her own dog, Stryda, was a great playmate and teacher for our puppy.”

“Kayla was responsive when communicating w/us including pictures of our pet throughout her stay to assure us our pup was in good hands. She accommodated our dogs separation anxiety needs and was able to make our pup feel comfortable during her short stay. Recommend.”
About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. When I was young, I started a dog walking service with my friend, that lasted years. I started rover to earn extra income when I had my son, now 7. I would love the opportunity to make your pet a part time family member in our home and give you the reassurance your pet is happy and safe while you are away! I have a 12 year old, neutered male husky that would love a part time buddy, and a neutered male cat. If your little one doesnt like other pets, I can keep them separated, no problem! Your pup is only allowed on the furniture if YOU allow them to be! They are both great with cats and dogs. This gives me the opportunity to work on getting up and active through out the days I dont work. I look forward to meeting your furry family member! My child is in school for most of the day and I usually work a few days out of the week due to my online education needs, so I have the entire day to fit your care into my schedule. I allow animals to get comfortable on their own terms and am not pushy with them getting used to my presence. I enjoy playing and ensuring a clean, calm environment.
About: My family has had a dog since I was younger and I currently have a mini goldendoodle. I understand how keeping dogs happy and cared for is vital to ‘owners.’ I have a very flexible and open schedule! I like to take my own dog for longer walks to get energy out and relax our minds together. I love playing with them so they’re not just sitting around unhappy. It’s important to me to make sure all of their needs are met as I believe this affects longevity and overall well-being.
“Kathleen was absolutely fantastic we had never used rover before so we were a little nervous at first. Kathleen quickly put us at ease and communicated regularly throughout the days. Both our dogs had a great time and were asleep before we got home. We will definitely use her again.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and am now a proud owner for the past 1.5 years! I’m around 1-2 times throughout a typical work day to let my puppy out. She rules this house so no furniture or beds are off limits, which is extended to all the dogs that come into my home (I’ve recently become the extended family dog sitter due to my work schedule). Monday’s-Thursdays I am home 1-2 times during the typical work day for about a half hour each time. Fridays and weekends I’m typically home most of the day, maybe running errands here and there. Allie rules the house here! She is allowed on furniture and beds and this would extend to your baby too. We spend a lot of time outside with water always available and I’m always out with her. We have tons of toys and she doesn’t mind sharing them.
“Brittania took excellent care of my 3 large dogs while we were away for a wedding! This was our first experience using Rover and she made us feel comfortable the whole way through. We knew our pups were in great hands with lots of pictures and updates throughout their stay. She was sure to get our pups lots of exercise with walks and followed our typical feeding and medication schedule.”

96% of sitters in Dexter can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Dexter.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
