“So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave! Most importantly, our dogs were not stressed because they were able to stay in their own home, tended to by a trustworthy caring individual. Megan YOU ROCK!”

About: I have raised dogs all my life. Currently my family has a large home on 5 acres. We have two, large dogs, a cat, and chickens. I am available for drop ins and boarding. I am available for feeding and/or caring for farm animals as well! I also have experience with rabbits, ferrets, and bearded dragons. If needed I can give shots and oral medication as I do have experience with this as well. I hope to see you and your pet soon! My husband and I both currently work full-time, both of us are home by 5 pm each day. My day schedule is flexible and allows me time to do drop ins when needed. When home we spend a lot of time outside. We do not have a fenced in yard, but have no problem with walking on a leash if needed. We live on 5 acres of land that allows plenty of room to run and play. If needed I can crate your pet as needed.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I have always had animals growing up. My kids also love playing with dogs/cats. I enjoy giving animals attention! (: I am a teacher and adore playing with children all day so would love to go home and play with dogs/cats each day!! I’m super friendly so I would give your animal tons of attention each day. I have a very chill neighborhood. I only have 3 neighbors. I live in a neighborhood that I have lived in for 26 years. I have one dog of my own, golden doodle, he is the sweetest and loves playing.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, and even guinea pigs as pets throughout my life. I’m a big animal lover and have been since I was a little girl. I work full time for a local credit union Monday through Friday. I’m available all day on Saturday and Sunday to love on your animals. I have a fence around my yard where my Boston terrier can roam free. We also go on walks around the neighborhood with him leashed.

About: I treat every dog like they are my own! I love giving belly rubs and playing fetch with them. I can give them a bath if needed. I love snuggling on the couch and brushing their fur if it needs to be. Dogs are my favorite animal so I think I am very fit for this job! I am great with all animals of all different ages and all different breeds! I’ve grown up with multiple dogs of different sizes and breeds as well so I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I will take great care of your fur baby just like they were my own! I am currently working a full time job as a legal assistant downtown LC and doing graduate school online so I have time to care to your dog’s needs before and after work. My weekends are usually free as well so I’m always looking for things to do! I’m doing this because I absolutely love dogs and it is extra money to help me with graduate school (which means less loans to take out and that is the goal!) I love going to the dog park on a cool evening and going on a nice drive with the windows down! Dog fur is not a problem for me and I don’t ever want you to feel like your dog is an inconvenience! Dogs are the best gifts we have and I would absolutely love the chance to spend a couple days with yours!

About: I have both large and small animal Vet Tech experience working for multiple veterinarians. I have worked at Texas Equine with horses in Brenham, TX as well as multiple small animal vets and shelters. I currently work from home so I am always available to spend time with and care for any animals including my own. I have a huge backyard that I love spending time in over the weekends with my animals. Plenty of room to run around. I feel spending time with animals and using positive reinforcement when training is Beneficial. Building trust is also a huge factor in animal behavior, so more time with them will give them a better understanding of how we behave and what actions we would like them to take.
