“I have known Margaret for almost 20 years. She was the vet tech that used to come on the weekends and late at night to take care of our boarding clients/medical boarding clients. We worked at the same animal hospital for many years. She adopted 2 of my own foster kittens. One of the kittens was a "special needs" kitty. She did every single thing she could for him. He was super special and Margaret knew that. He lived a very long happy life with her, under the best of care. Margaret also adopted a kitty that we believe must have been dumped, outside the animal hospital. She took all of her fur babies when she moved across the country. Margaret is a special soul. She sees the good in every single animal. I would and have trusted her with my own pets. She is also great at caring for larger breed dogs, that havn't always been the "easiest". Margaret has become a life long friend and I know if I lived closer to her, she would take care of my fur babies in an instant of me asking. She is kind, compassionate and a dedicated worker.”

[Please note we have an almost 1 year old] _______________________________________________ I've been dog sitting for family and friends, caring for their pets, since I was a kid. I worked in an animal hospital, giving me insight into what medical issues and concerns to look out for. Currently I have 2 rescue dogs of my own, one of which I raised from a puppy! I love caring for and playing with dogs and cats, keeping them active or meeting them at their activity level or needs. My husband has worked with dogs his whole life, even working for a training facility and managing the kennel operations for 3 years. Together we have watched over many fur babies for our friends and family. I walk my 2 dogs (Benny and Red) around our neighborhood regularly and have experienced almost every possible interaction with other dogs in the neighborhood. Learning the cues of potential aggression, or stress from other dogs, learning how to control my own dogs in those scenarios, and how to remain calm, while keeping my dogs calm. I'm currently a stay at home mom, which means I am free to care for your pets, working around your schedule. Caring for my 2 dogs now requires me to be accustom with daily pet care, and meeting their needs. I have a 6ft fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs that can keep your furry loved one entertained. My dogs are also accustom to being around dogs with stronger or more timid personalities, and with a simple command my dogs can play independently, allowing your pet to warm up to them on their terms. I am comfortable crating your dog if desired.

About: Becoming vegan has spurred my passion for spending as much time as possible with animals: pets of friends and family, volunteering at animal sanctuaries, and pets I meet through Rover. I have been a primary caretaker for cats and dogs for ten years (up to five at a time) and have also cared for fish, birds, pigs, cows, and more. I am diligent, responsible, communicative, and care deeply about our animal companions. In my free time, I love hiking, camping, sewing, embroidery, and watching the sun rise. I bike almost everywhere, so am in good shape and can handle high-energy dogs or multiple long walks a day. I especially love sitting for homes with multiple pets. Thanks to working from home online, I'm able to spend lots of quality time with your pets in your home and take frequent breaks for walks, play, medications, or anything else they need. Vaccinated for covid, still masking in public. Vegan for the animals! My schedule is flexible and self-directed, so I can easily plan around the needs of you and your animal companions. Just let me know what you need! For short stays or drop ins, you can be assured that I am neat and tidy. Happy to remove shoes in the home and of course clean up any messes that arise. For longer housesits, I can commit to regular cleaning and tasks like taking in mail or bringing garbage to the curb for pickup.

About: I have been raising cats, dogs and chickens for over 18+ years. I will treat your pets as my own. My pets are like my children and I believe in treating all animals with love and respect. I currently have 3 dogs and an aussie puppy. The puppy (Miss Blue)has earned her AKC S.T.A.R puppy certification and her Novice tricks certification and was dog of the month at our training facility at 6 months old. I have learned to be a good trainer and most if my dogs over the years have earned awards in obedience classes. I will be serving the Toledo aera and up to 15 miles from the West Toledo Library. I will have 3 services available I offer: Drop in visits: which includes letting/taking you dog out for a bathroom break and playing with them. I can also refill their food an water bowls. If your dog has started obedience training we can practice during our visit if you provide me with the dogs favorite treats and a list of commands they are working on. Upon request I can bring my puppy to play with your dog. Dog walking services are provided you must have a suitable collar and leash or harnesses. I don't use shock collars, prong collars or choke collars. I don't do off leash walks. Upon request I can bring one of my dogs to walk with your dog. I can only walk 2 dogs at once. ***I do not work with aggressive dogs!**** I am offering pet sitting services in your home. At this point I need to bring my youngest dog with me for overnight stays. So I can only accept house sitting requests if she can come. She is very friendly with both dogs and humans and she will never be in your home without me there. What sets me apart is my hunger for knowledge on all things dogs. I am obsessed with learning about animal behavior and training. I have taken online seminars and read books by animal behaviorists. I have worked with trainers to teach my own dogs and have become well versed in working on obedience and tricks for dogs. I simply can't get enough of it. I work mostly from home and can take that work with me for overnight stays. I do walks and in home visits between 7am and 3 pm. From 3pm to 7ish I spend with my pack and if I have overnight stays I head out. If I can take my pup for services it makes my work easier as she is the one who still needs the most exercise. If I don't have overnights I walk and train my dogs before I head out for walks and drop-ins. I care for pets in your home in the same way I care for my own pets. I take requests from owners for in home visits. I will take you dogs out, and play with all of your pets. I don't offer formal training but we can work on some of the basics you are working on.

About: I’ve been around animals all of my life! And I’ve been taking care of them since my teenage years. From small dogs to large dogs, I can take care of any size or breed. I also have take care of my own animals. I had an Australian Shepherd that I loved and cared for for 15 years until she passed from health complications and now I have my own orange cat that I rescued a few years ago. I have about a year of experience on Rover taking care of all types of animals. I know that your fur babies are part of the family & I treat them as such. I always approach animals calmly and kindly, respecting their boundaries & treating them with respect. About: I’m a Work from home mother of 2 teens. I also have 2 fur babies of my own. Loving animals is one of my favorite things to do. They are innocents in my eyes. I have been around them my whole life. My grandparents raised and bred German Shepherd Dogs and I was very much apart of the care, wellbeing, and loving of those dogs and puppies. My second job was at a Dog kennel. I was hired to clean the kennels, provide daily care + meds, oversee dog daycare, and I was also trained to groom. About: I have taken care of many dogs in the past. I have a 2 year old Golden Retriever that would love to have some friends around! We have a house with a gated yard. I am currently working from home which gives me the capability of giving your pets the full attention they deserve.Your pet or pets will be top priority for me from playtime to bedtime! I have a fenced in yard and a gentle golden retriever who gets along great with other dogs and is willing to tire herself out playing with your pup! We allow pets to roam the home and lay on the furniture if the owner allows, we have crates and gates as well if the owner thinks accommodations are necessary. Your dog will be fully safe and supervised for their stay and I am willing to discuss all the needs of the dog to figure out the best way to take care of your beloved pet!
