About: I've owned and cared for animals, from horses and sheep to dogs and snakes, since childhood. Experience in senior care, puppy training, and special dietary needs. I work from home and shape my work time and lifestyle around being able to stay active periodically throughout the day. The ability to essentially work from anywhere that has wifi grants me the flexibility to be present with the animals I my care. Outdoor play time and exercise, companionship, and daily hygiene and grooming. I also have the option for separate feeding spaces when boarding pets with food aggression.
7. Morgan L.

About: I’ve loved animals since I can remember, as soon as I could I started at our local animal shelter, then I started pet sitting for family and friends. I was the go to pet sitter for when they were out on vacation and it was an honor every time! My availability is Tuesday through Saturday, and I’m free all day anytime. I have the time to take care of your pets needs when they need it! For care in my home I have a medium/small sized dog they can socialize with as well as walks every hour. I have all the free time for animals, their needs are important to me!
9. Kelly C.
“Kelly is truly amazing at taming our cats. we have 3 cats and 2 are really scaredy cats. Kelly managed to get them out from under our bed on the first day. After the first day we were able to feel all the love Kelly gave our cats through all the photos she sent us daily. It really made us feel great and not to worry about our babies during our trip. Kelly is a true cat whisperer.”
10. Izabella H.
“Izabella is very passionate about her animals and does whatever is necessary to maintain their happiness and their health. She carries her cat in a screened backpack when she goes for walks, now that is dedication! I have found her to be genuine, tender hearted and trustworthy. I definitely recommend her to anyone with pets.”
11. Bernadette F.
“Bernadette LOVES dogs! Loves them! More than most humans, probably myself included!! She is terrific with them too and they always adore her! There's the time that a friend of Bernadette's and her dogs were in a bad car accident and Bernadette took the dogs into her care right away and watched them until the friend got out of the hospital. I saw the dogs a day or 2 after the accident and they did not seem traumatized any more at all. (I, the author of this testimonial, particularly liked those dogs!) There is a mutual friend of ours that often asks Bernadette to watch his puppy while he goes to work. One of the first times she watched Bodie, when the friend came to pick up his dog after his work shift, the dog ran from his car back into Bernadette's house! (He was a little miffed about this.) He had to lure the dog back out with treats, and truthfully that didn't work that well! There's many other stories but this was supposed to be around 25 words. So, who let the dogs out? Who? Who? Bernadette should.”

About: I have my own small business which specializes in house and pet sitting. I come with several recommendations from cats to dogs and it is my personal goal to make their experience whilst away from you pleasurable and enjoyable! Along with this I have used the dog walking app Wag for over two years! I have an Australian shepherd of my own so I am not afraid of timid or high energy animals! I currently work through opportunities such as these and run a small business of my own house sitting and dog sitting. I am a student but available at almost all times of the day or night! I have a fenced in yard and a small 2 bedroom home. I almo have a very friendly aussie who has been constantly exposed to both dogs and cats her whole life, (though i think she may prefer the company of cats) and works very well with others! I keep my home extremely clean as a house keeper and pride myself in making sure your pet is safe and secure.

About: I've had Alaskan Malamutes since I was born, and have a lot of experience taking care of large dogs because of this. I can handle a dog that pulls on the leash, and have enough of an authoritative voice to get their attention and keep it. I also have 5 cats currently, two of which have strict dietary and health needs. I am capable of giving medications, as well as keeping pet foods separate from other pets if need be. I work and have school all day Monday-Wednesday every week, but I will be done with classes around 12pm on Thursdays, so I am available for overnight pet sitting gigs Thursday-Sunday. Any dog walking or pet check ins I will also be available for during that time. I always try to make sure that I get well acquainted and comfortable with each pet, and know their needs ahead of time. With my cats I make sure they get all of their medications mornings and nights, and are fed regularly. The cat boxes are changed once a day, and I play with them whenever they are in the mood. With dogs I will walk them once or twice a day depending on their activity level, and make sure to leave plenty of time to play throughout the day.

About: I am new to Rover through friends and other sites have now done many housesits with dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, and more! For me, there is nothing better than getting to spend the day between online work sessions throwing a ball or going for a walk around to explore with the best canine companion. I have lots of experience adjusting to different dogs' routines. I mostly have experience with smaller dogs, though have cared for the occasional one bigger dog at a time. I try to connect with each animal under my care and make sure they are comfortable, attended to, and loved. I have raised my own dog, Violet, from Day 1, so I am experienced with puppy care. I have also cared for several senior dogs and really love taking the extra time with them, whether a slower walk, attention to a skin condition, or extra attention to food and medication. I work online teaching literature and creative writing, so I am around all day, taking the occasional few-hour trip out to run errands or go to appointments. I have lots of flexibility to adjust to any dog's usual schedule and make sure they have attention and my presence. I have always worked hard at leaving a light footprint when I housesit. I am very aware of leaving things how I found them and honoring each person's space. And I follow that for pets as well -- sensing into their routines and habits and fitting myself into that flow. I especially appreciate any written instructions or routines to refer back to and will make sure I am carrying out each person and animal's expectations. I also make sure to send regular photos and updates and will promptly share any concerns or questions. For now, I'm available for drop-in visits or walks and also for housesitting, but only for owners and pets who would be open to having another dog -- my 26lb dog Violet -- in their home. She has been on many housesits and does well with animals of all kinds. I make sure to ease them into the situation and spend time with each dog separately. Violet basically ignores cats, so we would be open to any dog-tolerating felines.
17. Nena B.

About: Hey guys! I just wanted to say in advance, thank you for reading my bio I have definitely taken care of many different types of breed dog or cat all animals are friendly in my neighborhood! I just wanted to share my 3 little dogs of my own one is a Yorkie, a red toy poodle and king charles cavalier and I treat them as if they are my precious babies with lots of love making sure they have everything they need daily walks and daily treats we can’t forget about there treats now! If I do encounter/take care of your puppy i will treat it as if it was my own because we love to make our furry baby puppies happy!!! If you have any further questions about me or my dogs feel free to message me for more info! (Also just an FYI I will not be bringing my dogs to your house). Everyday I take care of 3 of my own little dogs make sure when I wake up first thing I take them out and then after that I make them they’re breakfast let me them play amongst themselves or sometimes I join in and play fetch with my dogs. Once dinner comes rolling around I make sure they get a well deserved meal. As well as making sure throughput it the day they have fresh clean water and the cycle repeats it’s pretty much my everyday life of taking care of my dogs. My dogs are the most precious little furry friends that I will ever have in my life. Minus a few other things but the fact is. All a furry friend wants is to be cared for and taken care of but while having them under my wing they will have more than just the crucial essential. Not only will stranger be taking care of them but a new friend and relationship will be created! With lots of love, playfulness and enjoying the moment.
19. Brian S.
“Brian was great right from the beginning. He was very accommodating on scheduling a meet and greet, controlled his dogs until my smaller dogs got used to their new surroundings, sent pics and updates on how they were doing throughout our trip, and let us pick up our dogs fairly late at night! Usually when we leave our dogs with others, they don't eat much, but they came home with no leftovers because they had been working up appetites every day playing with the other dogs. Roxy and Floyd are very sweet, so even if you have small dogs, you need not worry about the boxers overwhelming them. We're already planning on having our dogs stay with Brian when we have to go out of town during the holidays.”
20. Haley P.
“Haley loves animals, so she’s a natural with all pets. She was kind and patient to my older dog, Buddy. He doesn’t usually play much, but she got him to actually play with her! He requires special food which she responsibly handled with no problems. I would definitely recommend Haley to take care of your fur baby!”
