I am retired now. I'm looking for a fulfilling way to make extra money doing something I love. Why not care for another's pet daily. And please, serious requests only. I can only come to the pet's residence. Since I am a cat owner, I understand that they need to be in their own environment. Also, I'm not sure how my cat would act if I brought your pooch to stay for the day. I have no problem caring for your pet in their own environment.

About: I am a retired senior that will provide caring and reliable dog and cat pet services, and will always strive to keep your pets safe, happy and well cared for. While currently a pet empty nester, my wife and I raised 3 Golden Retrievers over 30 years, all starting out with us as puppies. While new to Rover, I have a lifetime of experience with pets I grew up with, my family's pets and now occasionally over the last 5 years caring for my children's pets that include 2 cats and a reactive dog. I am retired and looking forward to devoting time to Rover. I also do volunteer work, but scheduling for that is flexible and will not conflict with Rover commitments. I will make sure your pets are fed, have water and potty breaks; and are exercised through appropriate play and/or walks in your neighborhood. I will show them affection through petting, belly rubs, ear scratches and cuddles; and by devoting all of my attention and time to them. I will also bag and dispose of dog poo and check litter boxes as needed. I will provide updates to the pet parents after each visit.

About: I’ve been a caregiver for pets from a very young age. Growing up with a dog taught me the ins and outs of responsible, compassionate pet care. As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve become the go-to sitter for family and friends, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes—from tiny Chihuahuas to energetic Retrievers. I have a big, fenced-in yard with plenty of space for pets to run around and get some energy out! About: I’ve had many different kinds of pets growing up (dogs, Guinea pigs, cats, ducks and chickens) I love spending time with any type of animal! I’m currently working a part time job but I still have some free time on my hands! I’m mostly free before 4 throughout the week! About: I have had 9 cats of my own. I have cared for kittens from age 2 weeks old, having to bottle feed them to senior cats who needed medication. I'm open with owners about things I find. I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I am precise when following directions provided by the pet owner. I LOVE taking pictures of pets and will send them over every day. I have 4 cats of my own, so their care is a daily routine for me. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for other pets. I usually go to the clients' home for pet sitting cats or dog walking. Although, I have a fenced-in yard with a privacy fence, which allows me to have dogs over.

About: Throughout my pet sitting experience, I have neighbors, friends, and families I pet sit for on a regular basis. I've had experience with giving any necessary medications to dogs that include shots and pills. I'm currently working part-time hours at a bookstore and in school part time. I take classes online so I can be flexible with hours. I'm open Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for drop in visits and walks. I do not care for pets in my home due to not having a fenced backyard and/or any crate to keep pet/s in when I'm away.

About: Animals have been so much the center of my life that I made it my career! I am a professional dog trainer with an education through Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainer's. Let me bring that experience to carrying for your best friend's when you need a set of extra hands. I have loved and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up we had cats, dogs, birds and lizards. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. My husband is also retired which allows me a lot of flexibility for being away from home I do not care for client pets in my home. About: My name is Marissa! :) Ever since I was a little kid I have always loved dogs. They were always what I chose for my favorite animal! I have tons of experience pet sitting—overnight, long stays, and throughout the day, and dog walking all sorts of dogs - including young puppies, big dogs, older dogs, and my family dog - a yellow lab named Toby who is very strong! I have even self rescued 2 stray dogs from the streets and fostered until finding them loving homes. I love dogs of all sorts and shapes, and am not afraid of high energy pups or large dogs.
