About: Hi! My (preferred) name is Daisy & I've been taking care of dogs ever since we adopted my very first canine best friend in 2011! Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur babies and I've been handling & working with dogs almost every day for almost two years as a doggy daycare attendant, kennel staff, special pup advisor, and group coordinator. I love taking them on walks and practicing sits, stays, downs, give paws, etc... I absolutely love all animals and promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own! I currently work part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in on & spend with your pets! I'm available Saturdays before 12pm, Sundays all day, & most holidays before 3pm. Weekday hours vary and I will always be super transparent about my availability! Your pets' safety is important to me so please feel free to leave detailed instructions and I will follow them to a T. I will also keep consistent contact with you, providing (p)updates with photos! I can crate your dog(s) if needed as well. I'm also Red Cross animal first aid certified. About: I've always had a passion for animals since I was very little. I was never able to have them of my own growing up because my dad was highly allergic. Once I graduated high school I moved out and rescued my first dog from a backyard breeder. He is a Pitbull mix. 4 months later I rescued my golden saint from a hording situation which ended up in all of her animals getting taken away. I realized I wanted to help save more animals so I ended up becoming a foster mom. My first foster was a 7 year old Rottweiler named Sabrina. I only had her a short 3 months before I was told she had a stomach tumor that was not curable. I unfortunately made the decision to get her cremated and the last words I said to her was " I promise I will save as many animals like you as I possibly can." I kept that promise to her after 8 years already and plan to for many many more! Fast forward to today, I have the same 2 dogs and added one more to my little family. He is a Catahoula Leopard dog and was my first foster fail. I wanted to extend my experience even more so now I pet sit/dog walk as well! I am experienced with senior dogs, puppies, aggressive dogs as well as dogs with high anxiety I have taken care of all sorts of animals such as hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, snakes, miniature pigs, and of course cats and dogs! I treat every animal like my own and I guarantee I will become their best friend! My goal is to eventually own a building and name it in Sabrina's memory:) I am currently working part time at UPS from 4am-8am (for the health benefits) so I will have plenty of time during the day and night to play with your fur baby! I am available for in home stays in your own home, overnights, drop ins, and dog walks on week days and weekends. If you see a date that is marked unavailable please still reach out to me as I might have some spots open or a last minute cancellation for those days. It is first come first serve so book while the dates are still available! In home/overnights- This includes play time, bathroom breaks, food and water replenishment, medication administration, baths if needed, multiple walks, picture/video updates, and lots of snuggles! If you have any small companian animals, reptiles, or feathered friends that need care please feel free to ask me! The goal of my job is to relieve the stress you may have from not being able to come home to your beloved pets, or to know that they are in safe hands if you go on a trip. I do have a full-time job near Clarence, NY. I work 7:30am to 4pm Monday through Friday. I do get hour long lunches and can stop for lunch visits if you are close. As a veterinary technician I can monitor your pet more closely in case they are sick. Since I do not know your pet or how they react in certain situations, I would take extra caution when going outside or for walks to make sure I keep them safe.
