“This is the 3rd time we have left our pup with Debbie and Phil and I cannot speak highly enough of them and our experiences! They take such wonderful care of our dog and really treat her like their own. They give us piece of mind so we can enjoy our time away without worrying. They have wonderful communication and are very flexible. Would highly recommend!”

“Hailey did an amazing job with Kylo. We were worried about leaving him since he has never been to a new place with us. She did such a great job with him and sent us photos of his stay. He felt we didn't have to worry at all. We are so happy we chose Hailey to watch our family member. We recommend her to anyone who wants to feel carefree when they have to leave their pet behind.”

“Deirdre's caring nature, as well as her beautiful, spacious home and property, provided a warm and inviting stay for my dogs. Very happy with Sophie and Quigley's visit and hoping to have Deirdre care for them in the future.”

“We needed to arrange this at the last minute and she was very flexible. Sent us an update every couple hours and was very attentive. Very friendly and Sophie had a wonderful time.”

“Our 9 year old golden had a great time with Julie, Arlo, and family. Received updates with pictures regularly during her stay. Upon pick up, Shelby, was happy and didn’t want to leave. Confirmation that Julie will be our go to if available for booking.”

“Tristan and his wife were excellent sitters for our dogs. They loved playing with Roo, and had a little vacation on their own while we were away. I would 100% have them take care of our puppers again. Thank you so much!!”

“We are so lucky to have Celestia and Ryan to take care of our senior dog Fiona. Pictures were sent several times a day easing my mind. Fiona takes medicine and I am never worried about her welfare while we are away. Thank you for always taking care of our sweet girl.”
“Absolutely wonderful taking care of Jasper. He had a great time there. Avary does a great job of keeping in touch and sending pictures. Jasper came back tired, so I know he was having a lot of fun. I will not hesitate to have Avary watch him anytime we go on trips.”

“We are very happy with Rosa as our dog sitter. She sent us photos so we could see how good they are doing. Our girls liked her also. Next time we need a dog sitter I will definitely request Rosa. She is very pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend”

“Emily was very kind and kept me updated on my dog while he was under her care. I wasn’t very happy that the other dog she was sitting chewed up my dogs bed a bit but other than that everything was great.”

About: I've owned three dogs in the past 20 years. A greyhound (rescue), a border collie/retriever mix (rescue) and a chihuahua. Each one unique in their personality, energy level and needs, giving me a broad understanding of dog care. I recently retired and can't think of a better way to spend some of my free time, than with pups. I'm available M-F, and we could probably negotiate some weekends if needed. I love taking dogs for walks. We frequently walked our dogs at Kolapechka park and utilized the dog play areas. I could do the same for yours. Open to broadening my services to include overnight stays in my home once a bond/trust is developed between myself and your pet.

“Goose had the time of her life. Made friends with another dog, a cat, and a pig named Penny! Deanna was awesome and gave us updates everyday with photos. She made my first time using Rover a great one! She made us feel comfortable and Goose was in very good hands!”

“Ashley was awesome with Parker. She sent us pictures every day of their playtime. My baby has a new buddy ? This was the first time he was left with someone for a few days and I was nervous but it worked out great. Thanks Ashley! I’ll be calling her again for our next vacation. ??”

About: I work from home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I also have a friendly husky named Henry who loves having another dog around and is always down for a new friend. I keep boarding very limited so your dog can actually settle in and feel at home rather than being one of a bunch of dogs. I’m around all day, can keep up with their normal routine, walks, feeding schedule, medications, and whatever else they’re used to. I know leaving your dog with someone can be stressful (unfortunately firsthand) so I’ll be sure to keep you updated with plenty of pictures and videos! I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout most of the day. My schedule is pretty flexible, which makes it easy to keep your dog on their normal feeding, walking, and potty routine. Henry gets plenty of walks and attention throughout the day, and any dog staying with us gets included in the routine! I treat every dog staying with me like I would my own. I’m home most of the day, so they’re rarely left alone for long periods. I keep a clean, comfortable home and only take dogs that are a good fit with Henry. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines, medications, or instructions you have so your dog feels as comfortable as possible while you’re away

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Delano
Lorraine on-boarded took care of Khonsu for almost a week. She was very diligent with her communications, always responding to my messages and requests in a timely manner. She was also gladly willing to accommodate to an unforeseen change in my schedule and I think that exceeds all expectations! I’d be very happy to have her take care of my little rascal in the future!

I had a wonderful experience with Lorraine! She took great care of Kurama. She was kind, communicative, and treated him well. What I appreciated the most was how understanding and patient she was when I wasn’t able to pick Kurama up on time. She was incredibly accommodating and never made me feel like it was an inconvenience, which meant a lot during a stressful situation. I would trust Lorraine with Kurama again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy!

95% of sitters in Delano can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Delano.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
