About: Hi! I love animals and enjoy helping dogs get the exercise and fresh air they need. I’m newer to dog walking professionally, but I’m dependable, patient, and always willing to learn. I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for during every walk. I enjoy being around animals, especially going on walks. My work schedule can vary a little week to week, but I keep my calendar updated and communicate clearly about my availability. I’m happy to coordinate times that work best for you and your dog and always aim to be reliable and on time. Your dog’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I always pay close attention during walks, follow owner instructions carefully, and make sure dogs stay secure on leash. I’ll treat your pet with patience, care, and respect while making sure they have a safe and enjoyable walk.

About: I love pets — it’s that I’ve never known life without them. I was raised in a house full of dogs, cats, so pet care isn’t something I learned from a training video. It’s second nature. From bottle-feeding puppies to managing senior meds, anxious rescues to high-energy zoomies, I’ve truly seen it all. Your pet won’t get a “sitter” — they’ll get someone who reads body language before it becomes a problem, knows when play means overstimulation, and treats your fur family like they’ve always been part of mine. Expect daily pupdates, spotless home standards, and the kind of care that only comes from a lifetime of experience. My part-time work schedule gives me the flexibility that most 9–5 sitters can’t offer. I’m available for midday walks, drop-ins, and extended stays during the week, plus weekends and holidays. Your pet gets more time, attention, and consistency without me rushing between jobs. Secure, fully fenced backyard with locking gates and daily safety checks. No hazards, no unsupervised time outside. Perfect for potty breaks, play sessions, and dogs who need space to decompress.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life and grew up with cats and dogs. I started house sitting and animal sitting when I was 18. Most of my experience is with puppies, larger dogs, and cats. I have an anxious cat of my own, so I understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet with a stranger. I love getting to know each individual animal and watching their personalities come out! I currently have a flexible remote job that gives me a pretty open schedule. I decided to start doing Rover because I want to be around more animals! I adore all animals and want them to feel safe and cared for at all times as they were my own. Patience is key when it comes to animals!

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
