About: Welcome to my pack! I'm Debi, with 45 years experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from puppies to seniors. I have 2 dogs, Bentley, my 11 year old Blackmouth Cur, and Dually, my 7 y/o Sable GSD. I have a deep love for all dogs, and especially enjoy sport and working dogs that "need a job". I also enjoy spoiling them! Brushing, walking, hiking, throwing a ball, a stick or playing tug, I can be as gentle (or alpha) as needed to ensure your dog is feels safe and loved. Typical Availability: M-F Early morning Drop-ins & after 5 PM. Sat and Sun are flexible. Serving primarily Deer Creek & Morton, then nearby Washington and East Peoria. Both my dogs are crate trained, leash-trained, off-leash trained, and understand and obey these commands: Up, Load, Down, Sit, Stay, Come, Yes, Good, No, Wait, Off, Out, Shake, High Five and Back. Additionally, Bentley understands Left, Right, and Go Straight. If you use other command words, I will adapt.

About: I have been dog training for 12 years. I have trained a variety of dogs. I spent 10 years training with 4-H. I trained one of my dogs to be a therapy dogs for others and another one for Search and Rescue. I have experience working with cats and dogs. I used to pet sit for several people. For three years I worked at Canine Country Club, a facility that boards cats and dogs. I’m currently on summer break! This fall I start my internship as a mental health counselor which is only 2 days a week. I am available most days and nights! For my clients and my household I take care of dogs by feeding, letting them outside, going for walks, basic grooming including brushing, training. I train obedience, rally, and agility.

About: I have my own pets who I take care of everyday and have been surrounded by animals since I was little. I understand that pet care is very individualized and am adaptable. I am very flexible with anything that is needed schedule wise. I am available for overnight stays for any day of the week, but weekends would be preferable I will be aware of the pet at all times and will do my best to keep them in a confortable environment with a new person in their house.

About: I’ve volunteered at shelters and helped find loving homes for even wild animals from working at a wildlife sanctuary. I’ve been working with pets since I was a 17 year old. I’m currently in employed so I have all the time to care for all the pets. I have a love for active pets so if your pet is hyper I’m your person I have a fenced in yard and also have a husky mix so if you have an animal who needs a buddy to feel safe she has it covered

"When I cared for pets at home growing up—and when helping friends or neighbors—I always made sure their basic needs were met first: feeding, fresh water, regular potty breaks, and exercise. I understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and loved, whether that’s sticking to their walk schedule, administering medication if needed, or just giving them plenty of playtime and affection. About: I’ve had pets my whole life and started helping with their care at age 10. Though the last 12 years have truly deepened my experience and love for animal care. Currently, I share my home with four cats and a German Shepherd/Husky puppy! Over the years, I’ve had the honor of caring for pets with special needs, both my own and those of friends and loved ones. My puppy and I have completed two 6-week training courses with Canine Initiative – and yes, we still practice those skills daily (with varying levels of success depending on how many squirrels we’ve seen that day). One of my most meaningful experiences was caring for my border collie, Nina, after a serious injury. She needed help walking with a harness, regular cleaning, medications, vet visits, and lots of love. After 2.5 months of dedicated care, she was back on her feet, and we were lucky to share two more wonderful years together. I also cared for her through a late-in-life diabetes diagnosis, which included daily insulin and increased mobility support. I’ve administered medications to dogs including insulin, ear drops, and oral meds, and I’m especially mindful about keeping pets calm and comfortable during care routines. I’m always happy to learn your exact process — whether through an in-person tutorial or a video — to keep your dog’s stress to a minimum. I’m open to caring for dogs with medical or physical needs, with the understanding that for mobility support using a harness, I’m most experienced with dogs 45 lbs. or less. That said, I’m absolutely comfortable walking and caring for dogs over 50 lbs. as long as they are well-mannered on a leash. While I may not be the strongest person physically, I’m confident with larger dogs who don’t pull or lunge too much. If your pup is a gentle giant, we’ll get along just fine on walks! My youngest (age 12) and I work great together playing and giving positive attention to dogs. She has attended most of the dog training classes with me and shown an interest in attending more. If you would prefer myself only, I completely understand! Should your animal need urgent care and I am able to take them to the vet, we are very familiar and close with Morton Animal Hospital and Banfield Pet Hospital. I cannot recommend them enough! If more assistance is needed than the general care/dog walking, I will adjust the rate and will be happy to discuss this with you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions! I am currently off for the summer and will have various appointments and activities to do with my children and animals. I am able to adjust my schedule at this time but will let you know if I have anything scheduled during the days needed. I understand sometimes extra or unexpected trips are needed to check on your pet. At this time, I am off for the summer and am able to provide care throughout the day for my own pets. Depending on your dogs activity level, I would prefer to care for your dog at your home due to my dogs young and energetic puppy self, as well as my four indoor cats. Should it work out with bringing your dog to my home and remaining outside with me, I do live on a busy street in town and do experience unsafe, fast driving cars at times (Idlewood). With that said, our yard is completely fenced in, though our back and front fence is 5 ft. in height. Larger, escape artist dogs may have the ability to hop the fence and if that is a concern, I would rather not risk bringing your dog to my home.

About: I've worked at Tendercare Animal Hospital for 4 years as kennel lead. Taking care of the dogs and cats in boarding. Making sure they are well taken care of while you're away! I work at Tendercare Animal Hospital in Morton i have a flexible schedule and can work with you for your needs. I do work 30 hours a week but hoping to make this a job for me. I have a vehicle for transportation as well as 4 years hands on experience at work. I can give medications as well and feeding and taking out for potty.

About: I have been in the veterinary/boarding field for about 8 years. So I have experience working with all sorts of animals (different sizes, ages, and behavior). I can administer any medicines comfortably. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, small pets (Guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, etc.), birds, fish, farm animals (goats, chickens, ect.) and frogs. I am also comfortable doing baths, nail trims, and teeth brushing if interested. I currently have three cats and three chihuahuas. About: Hey y’all!!!!!!! Huge animal lover here of ALL animals! I put my heart & time into any animals I care for so there safety will never be a worry & I have no problem sending daily picture updates of your fur babies on our adventures or just at relaxing at home. In my home they will feel safe & be spoiled as they should be,I make homemade organic dog treats & a dog room which has a door to the outside and dog beds so everyone is comfy in there own beds just like we are and even basic dog walks/house pop ins will be a time for me to interact with them and make sure your pets are set up for the day & know they aren’t alone. I’m a volunteer firefighter and I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule and my husband is also a great help around the house. In my home we have a fully fenced (6ft) privacy fence & we treat grass for fleas monthly so no worries about any critters coming home with you

About: I have animals of my own and 15 years of experience helping with other animals. I would love to take your dogs for walks or give them some play time throughout the day. I'm open to watching your animals over night too (boarding can be scary). I'm a social worker and off for summer break. I have a lot of free time throughout the day which allows me to meet your dog or cats needs! I have a big yard but we have a underground fence. I will use a leash to let the dogs out. I have a 1 month old Black Lab that is full of energy along with a 1 year old cat who is very energetic. Both animals are good with people and other pets as well. I am willing to take your dog for walk, appointments, give some attention etc.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have cared for them since they were puppies until their transition to the rainbow bridge. I love meeting other animals and hearing their stories. I would care for your pets like they were mine. I am currently off work and have many hours in the day to care for your four-legged family members. I could do daily or twice a day walking as needed. I have a fenced in yard that my 5 dogs enjoy. I have 2 dogs that free roam at home. My 2 boys are big barkers, but are dog friendly. I have the other two kenneled due to bad behaviors and the other dog is having mobility issues and I try to keep her safe in the kennel.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. I am currently working full time but I live with multiple people who are willing to help me with boarding. I don’t work all day so I would love to take your pet for walk! I also can do drop ins on my days off which I have 3 days off a week. I also have a partner who is in this with me who loves animals as much. I do have a 8-6 job four days a week for anyone wanting house sitting. I also am able to board reptiles or do house visits for them also. I offer more items like nail trims, baths and anal glands for a low price! I have a privacy fenced in yard with some running space. We have a pool but dogs do not have a way into it. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. The house stays clean and we are neat freaks and we have an up and downstairs in case of wether safety. I have practiced. Weather safety with my animals and continue to due so. My animals have ever shot you can think of and they are on flea and tick prevention and heartgard.
