About: Since I was young, I've been very drawn to caring for pets of all nature and have a very deep connection with dogs. From my experiences with having 2 dogs of my own to being the best aunt to my sisters’ poodles, I know that a dog really is a human's best friend. I'd love the opportunity to help others care for their best friends too! Currently, I have reduced my hours at my hospital job to an average of around 20 hours a week, thus have a lot more flexibility in my schedule and can change my work availability as needed. For the remainder of the summer, I am preparing myself to start graduate school in the fall, when I will be enrolled at GWU and living in Alexandria. As such, I am available to take on any and all services necessary to offer help in any way that I can! Though I would not be looking to house any pets in my home, I do prefer fenced yards for client's homes so that outside play can ensure safety for the pet as while as myself. If this is not feasible, I will gladly resort to playing inside (with permission from the owners), as well as traditional dog sitting indoors and frequent neighborhood walks.

About: I’ve had my knee replaced which has slowed me down a tad but also allows me be to home all the time. We recently lost our old boy (dog of 12 years) and while my cats have helped me to survive, I have so much more love to give! For now I want to spend time with others’ dogs to help fill the whole in my heart. I genuinely want to make every animal a friend of mine! I will always lead with love, care and respect. I work from home already which is usually stuff I take care of in the evenings anyway but I have the time, love and space to accommodate your furry family members. We currently have three lovable cats and one old dog that we recently took in. The cats have been around lots of animals and just want love. The dog struggles to move around too much so keeps to himself mostly. We have a big open area indoors for them and lots of yard as well.

About: I'm a very energetic person so I will always play with the pets and I'm always making sure they are well looked after. I have taken care of plenty of pets aging from young puppies and kittens to older. When taking care of cats I have plenty of toys and things for them to climb on. I have also taken care of pets that have special needs. Like diabetics and other things. I know how to give medications oral and in shot form. Special skills would be probably that I can keep up with any animal and I love all of them. They put a smile on my face. And I love seeing owners with the same smiles. It warms my heart every day. ? I'm usually free most of the day and love cuddles and walking with the pups and kitties. So scheduling will be easy and always available. I have a fenced in yard and a dog and cat that love others. We can play and go for walks. Also tons of activities to do.

About: I have had breeds of all shapes and sized my entire life. I care for my 2 year old border collie and I have experience handling cats as well. I want to make your pets feel at home even when you are away. I would want the best from my boy when I am away, so I want to provide that service to others! I am full-time employee so I can stop in before and after work on weekdays, and I am free weekends for endless playing ! (I can stay in the evening during the week until around 8-9) I am very respectful of other people’s spaces and would be happy to meet your animal where they are! I do NOT offer boarding currently.

Dogs receive potty breaks as needed, and frequent exercise, as well as time to just relax! Dogs have constant access to water, and treats if allowed by owner. All dogs receive their own space for downtime. I have dealt with many reactive and aggressive pets as well.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, play, and any special instructions. I keep the environment clean, safe, and calm, and I always give pets plenty of love and attention so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a cozy, pet-friendly space with room to play, rest, and feel at ease. I treat every pet like family and make sure their physical and emotional needs are met every day.

About: My passion and intuition is enough to set my care apart! I have been trained previously at a luxury boarding facility on dog and cat behaviors/temperaments, body language, breeds, and how to respect and communicate with them. I believe it is so important to make a pet feel safe in their own space and that even one bad interaction is detrimental to the wellness. I am only employed part time at a coffee shop and the hours are limited. I do not mind early mornings or late nights. I have my own vehicle for transportation and pet accessibility if necessary. I reflect exactly the habits for my pets wellbeing and as requested. It is of upmost importance to me to keep them cared for as a family member clean space to sleep eat and use the potty. Our dogs are kennel trained at night but able to sleep out if needed. I am comfortable with any variety of care even if it is a long list I love to be informed of routines.

“Savanna took such great care of our two cats will we were on vacation! Our older cat needed medication applied to her ears and fed wet food so I was nervous leaving her. Savanna was patient with her and made sure she ate and got her daily meds. I was able to enjoy the time away without worrying as Savanna updated me after each visit. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and had a pet care service in 2012. I love dogs of all sizes, I can help with training puppies. I work full time during the week but will have a nanny at home and will be home on the weekends. I have 2 dogs of my own as well I have a fenced yard for dogs and have 2 friendly dogs that sleep in crates. Dogs will be fed on schedule and get at least an hour of play time per day

About: I have loved animals for my entire life and began pet sitting when I was 11. Since then, I have gained further experience from working at professional boarding facilities and have now begun pursuing my Animal Science degree at UMD. Throughout the summer, I will be taking classes online so I will have the flexibility within my schedule to provide pet care throughout both weekdays and weekends While taking care of your pets in your home I do my best to make sure they feel very comfortable and stick to the same routines and environments that they feel safe and comfortable with.
