Über: Ich bin mit Hunden und Katzen aufgeachsen und freue mich immer Zeit mit Fellnasen zu verbringen. Selbst im Urlaub dreh ich Morgens meine Laufrunde und füttere erstmal die obdachlosen Tiere. Meine Oma hat Hunde aus einem rumänischen Tierheim. Mit Geduld und Zuwendung sind wir nun ein Herz und eine Seele und konnten ihnen zeigen, das Menschen auch toll sind. Beim gassi gehen lasse ich sie gern schnuppern so lange sie wollen und ab und zu wird auch ein Sprint eingelegt. Ich bin zur Zeit zeitlich flexibel und kann mich euren Bedürfnissen anpassen. Auch an Wochenenden und Feiertagen ist dies möglich. Was ein fester Bestandteil meines Alltags ist, sind 2 std. Sport am Tag. Ich habe ein gemütliches Zuhause, jedoch keine Katzengitter an den Fenstern oder Balkon. Eine Betreuung ist auch in dem Zuhause des Tieres möglich. Ich habe ein Auto und versorge dein Tier gern in seinem gewohnten Umfeld. Über die Möglichkeit in meinem Zuhause können wir uns gern abstimmen.

Sehr zuverlässig, viel Empathie und sofortiges verstehen mit meinem Kater Zatü, der normalerweise sehr lange braucht, um zutraulich zu werden. Rocio hat alles zuverlässig und pünktlich erledigt. Es war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. 🐈‍⬛”

Über: I’ve grown up on the Swedish countryside both around my own animals - cat, dog and horse, but also pet sitting friends animals of all different kinds such as horses, cats and dogs! I would say I’m well versed in all different sizes of animals, and am since a young age very well aware of the responsibilities it entails! Since moving to Berlin, I have unfortunately not had the perfect circumstance to be able to have my own pet, and I would really like to have more pet time in my daily life again! As I’m a full time student, I spend most of my days home alone in our big apartment, so being able to pet sit - either at my own apartment or in other spaces would be very easy when it comes to time management. I live in a large apartment together with my partner, who is also an animal lover since birth! We don’t have a balcony but we do have a nice closed off garden that belongs to our building. There is also a lot of nice parks around our area for long walks!

Über: After moving to Berlin, I’d love to put my experience with cats to good use and help other cat owners feel a little more relaxed when they have to leave their cats at home. I’m originally from Poland, where I spent several years volunteering at a cat rescue foundation. There, I had the chance to meet and care for all kinds of cats - confident and social, but also very shy, nervous, scared or withdrawn ones. It taught me a lot about cats and, most importantly, about paying attention to their individual needs and body language. I also have four cats of my own - Todd, Helen, Lucyna and Stanisław ❤️ So I know how important it is to leave your cats with someone you can genuinely trust. For me, safety always comes first. I’m careful, responsible and I never want a cat to be put in an unnecessary risky situation. Because of this, I only look after indoor cats and don’t take care of cats that are allowed to go outside. I also don’t believe there is one perfect way to look after every cat. Some want cuddles and playtime, some prefer you to sit nearby and talk to them, while others are happiest when you simply give them space. I always try to meet the cat where they are and let them decide how much interaction they want 😊 Depending on your needs and your cats’ routine, I can visit once, twice or even three times a day. After every visit, you’ll receive a short update with photos, so you know how your cats are doing while you’re away. I offer cat sitting throughout Berlin and I’m based in Friedrichshain. The price may be slightly higher if the journey is particularly long. And a little more about me: I’m Polish, so English isn’t my first language, but I’m comfortable communicating in English. And when it comes to cats, I seem to speak the language pretty well anyway 😉🐈 If you’re looking for someone who will treat your cats with patience, care and respect, feel free to send me a message. I’d love to meet you and your cats! 😻 I still volunteer with a cat rescue foundation, although this work is fully and only remotely. This gives me a flexible schedule, so I can usually fit cat sitting easily into my day. I’m happy to adapt my visits to each cat’s routine and needs, including visiting at different times of the day or later in the evening when needed. I only care for indoor cats, and safety is always my top priority. I am very careful when opening the door and always check the windows and balcony before I leave, if the balcony is secured and the cat uses it. I also want every cat to feel comfortable, so I adapt my visits to their needs and personality. Some cats enjoy having a person around for longer, so if needed, I can also work on my laptop at your home while keeping your cat company. I also understand that for some cats, a short and quiet visit is the best option. In that case, I focus on what they need: cleaning the litter box, changing the water, giving them food and making sure everything is safe before I leave.

Über: I usually study in the mornings, so I have plenty of free time in the afternoons and evenings to spend with pets. I’m happy to fit pet sitting into my routine and would love to give your furry friend lots of attention, cuddles and care. Über: At the moment I'm on summer break and can spend all day with your cat. I can feed them mornings and evenings, and stay to play, pet and snuggle. I'm available over night as well. Your friend is in good hands, I've spent a lot of time with cats and know how to read their body language (when they want to play, vs not be touched etc). I know not to overfeed them no matter how convincing their meows are, and am also experienced in giving medication, putting on cones and of course keeping litter boxes clean.

Über: I grew up with two dogs who were my best friends. They were who I wanted to spend the majority of my time with, and who I trusted the most. My parents allowed me to perform simple care tasks such as feeding and walking them since the age of three. I have always been comfortable around animals and learned how to read their body language quite well. At the age of 12, I participated in 4H with my cavalier king charles spaniel who I was responsible for training and bathing. I have also been a frequent volunteer (2020-2021) at Michigan Animal Rescue League as a dog walker where I was responsible not only for walking dogs, but for providing trust and companionship that would increase their chances of adoption. I began using Rover while completing my masters in Edinburgh. It was such a wonderful experience for me and brought so much joy to my days. Animals truly make my days brighter. For the last 10 years, I have been the owner of a ginger cat named Crookshanks, whom I adore more than anything. Since I have moved to Germany, he sadly does not live with me (he is with my mom) but I miss him dearly and willing to make up for this by giving your pets lots of love and affection! Currently, I am a freelancer who has time in the afternoons, evenings, and potentially weekends. Since I primarily make my own hours, taking potty and play breaks is no problem. Über: I'm Partha from India. I have always been an animal lover and have been brought up in a house where everyone liked animals. Over the years, I have taken care of rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. A friend of mine in India is a dog behaviour specialist and runs a dog boarding facility. I also have some experience of handling multiple dogs since I used to help her out at the facility multiple times. I treat all animals equally, treat them with respect, care and love that they need. You can rest assured and do your things while I take care of your pet. I moved to Berlin in January this year and I miss my dog at home dearly. I am multilingual, although I am still in the process of learning German. I can't wait to meet your pet and see for myself what a good boy/girl you have! I came to Berlin in January this year for studies. My course is done and I am looking for a job. I want to make better use of my time while my job search is on, and hence, here I am! I would want to first understand more of what your pet needs. Dogs/cats have personalities too. For example, my dog in India is a mutt and he enjoys his personal space, so I don't coddle him all the time.
