Über: Durch eigene Hunde habe ich wertvolle Erfahrung im täglichen Umgang mit Hunden gesammelt. Zusätzlich habe ich regelmäßig Hunde von Freunden und Bekannten betreut, wenn diese verreist oder anderweitig verhindert waren. Zu meinen Aufgaben gehörten Spaziergänge, Fütterung, Spielen sowie die liebevolle Betreuung im Alltag. Mir ist es wichtig, auf den Charakter und die individuellen Bedürfnisse jedes Hundes einzugehen, damit er sich wohl und sicher fühlt. Ich bin zuverlässig, verantwortungsbewusst und verbringe sehr gerne Zeit mit Hunden. Meine Verfügbarkeit variiert je nach Datum. An manchen Tagen bin ich morgens verfügbar, an anderen nachmittags oder abends. Am Wochenende bin ich ganztägig verfügbar. Schickt mir einfach euren gewünschten Zeitraum – ich prüfe meine Verfügbarkeit und gebe euch so schnell wie möglich Bescheid. Das Wohlbefinden und die Sicherheit jedes Tieres steht für mich an erster Stelle. Ich nehme mir Zeit, die Gewohnheiten und Bedürfnisse jedes Haustiers kennenzulernen und halte mich selbstverständlich an die Anweisungen der Besitzer – ob Fütterungszeiten, Spaziergänge, Medikamentengabe oder besondere Routinen. Im Zuhause der Besitzer sorge ich dafür, dass sich die Tiere in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung wohl und sicher fühlen. Bei einer Betreuung in meinem Zuhause erwartet sie eine ruhige, liebevolle und sichere Umgebung mit Aufmerksamkeit, Beschäftigung und natürlich ausreichend Kuscheleinheiten – ganz nach den Bedürfnissen des Tieres.

“Laura did a great job taking care of my cat while I was on vacation! I was really worried about leaving him with a stranger, but Laura agreed to meet me before I booked her to make sure she was a good fit. She is super friendly and attentive, and asked me questions when she needed to. When I was gone she sent me lots of photos of my cat and gave me little updates on how he was doing, how he was eating etc. Everything was nice and clean in my apartment when I returned home. My apartment is sheltered and friendly for cats and dogs., with two friendly dogs and a cat who would happily keep your pet company. During the pet sitting I spend all the time with a new friend.

Über: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and got my own when I was 13 — he’s been my best friend ever since. Moving away from home means I miss him every day, but also just miss having a dog around in general. Over the last 6 years, I’ve been dog-sitting for friends whenever I could, gaining experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. Whether it’s a playful pup or a more sensitive soul, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog and making sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease :) I’m currently between jobs, which means I have all the time in the world to give your dog my full attention, love, and care - basically whenever you need! I live in a cozy 36m² apartment better suited for small dogs, right next to a big park with a great dog park. I’m also happy to come to your place if that’s a better fit!

Über: Ich bin mit Hunden und Katzen aufgeachsen und freue mich immer Zeit mit Fellnasen zu verbringen. Selbst im Urlaub dreh ich Morgens meine Laufrunde und füttere erstmal die obdachlosen Tiere. Meine Oma hat Hunde aus einem rumänischen Tierheim. Mit Geduld und Zuwendung sind wir nun ein Herz und eine Seele und konnten ihnen zeigen, das Menschen auch toll sind. Beim gassi gehen lasse ich sie gern schnuppern so lange sie wollen und ab und zu wird auch ein Sprint eingelegt. Ich bin zur Zeit zeitlich flexibel und kann mich euren Bedürfnissen anpassen. Auch an Wochenenden und Feiertagen ist dies möglich. Was ein fester Bestandteil meines Alltags ist, sind 2 std. Sport am Tag. Ich habe ein gemütliches Zuhause, jedoch keine Katzengitter an den Fenstern oder Balkon. Eine Betreuung ist auch in dem Zuhause des Tieres möglich. Ich habe ein Auto und versorge dein Tier gern in seinem gewohnten Umfeld. Über die Möglichkeit in meinem Zuhause können wir uns gern abstimmen.

Über: I have always been passionate about animal welfare. Throughout my professional career, I have immersed myself in learning as much as I can in regards to Animal Welfare. While my focus has been in dog training, I’ve never been shy about adding to my skills. As such, I’ve apprenticed as a Groomer’s Assistant, completed Canine First Aid and Confirmation courses, and I have even spent time working in Veterinary Clinics. These experiences were fulfilling and allowed me to provide comprehensive information for my human students, therefore bridging the critical gap between training the dog and teaching the human. Most recently in my professional career, I was able to open my own successful dog-training business in the states, collaborating with the families of individuals with disabilities, as well as local Animal Welfare organizations and Rescues to provide critical training for both Service Dogs, and dogs living in pet homes. I focused on tailoring training methods to accommodate diverse needs and frequently developed innovative approaches, all while collaborating with various other Pet Professionals in my area. I'm fairly free in my availabilty, pending time hasn't already been booked by other clients. For drop-ins/walks I start my days at 10AM and, finish at 5PM. I don't take drop-ins/walks on Sundays, but I'm otherwise available the rest of the week. For dogs, I like to spend at least 30-40 minutes a day on decompression walks, just allowing dogs to sniff and enjoy the sensory input they crave. I do NOT do public dog parks or allow greetings for Clients with random animals, and I always carry compressed air-spray in the event an off-leash dog approaches. I'm happy to provide play and light grooming, such as routine brushing and nail trims if applicable and requested. I require at least one Meet & Greet with the owner present before commiting to any sitting requests, as it is imperative to me that the dog is comfortable with me and confident with me entering the home without their owner. For cats, I prefer to let them greet me at their speed while ensuring they have all necessary resources and a clean litterbox. I'm very happy to spend the day with a book and cozy cat at my shoulder or on my lap, but it won't hurt my feelings if the cat is shy and prefers to avoid me. Either way, I'll keep their water filled and their box clean.
