Because of this, I know how to treat them with love, attention, and care. Additionally, I am the one who takes care of the pets of friends and family when they go on vacation. In these 5 years of caring for pets, I have gained several animal care tips that can be beneficial when taking care of your pet 🐱🐶 I love taking care of animals; they give me life and motivation, bringing joy and encouragement to my daily routine. Über: Hi there! 👋 We’re Deborah and Michael — animal lovers through and through. We’re definitely the kind of couple who will turn around in the street just to gush over how cute your dog is! 🐾 We both work partly remotely, which gives us the flexibility and time to care for dogs or cats several times a week. We’ve been part of the Rover community since November 2021 and have loved every bit of it. Over the past two years, we’ve welcomed several furry friends into our home — some of whom now visit us regularly! 🐶 We’re also looking to build long-term relationships with pet owners and their beloved companions, if it is a good match. If you think we could be a good match for your pet, we’d love to meet you! Here’s a little look into what a typical day looks like when your dog stays with us: We usually wake up around 7:30am and would be happy to take your pup out for their first walk then. Around lunchtime (around 1pm), we love heading out for a longer walk — usually 30 to 45 minutes — either to the dog park, through Friedrichshain, or to explore a new corner of the neighborhood. 🐾 We typically finish work around 6:30pm (though we’re flexible), and would take your dog for another nice walk or even bring them along with us to a nearby terrasse if we’re going out for a drink. To end the day, we always do one last walk around 9 or 10pm to make sure they’re settled and comfortable for the night. At home, your dog is welcome to roam freely and chill on the furniture — as long as it’s something they’re allowed to do at your place too! We also have a small park right in front of our building, which is perfect for quick potty breaks or short walks throughout the day. Your dog is free to move around and make themselves comfortable — just like part of the family! 🐶 We love playing with them throughout the day and making sure they get plenty of attention. If you provide their food, we’re happy to follow their usual feeding routine, and of course we always have some healthy treats (cucumber or carrots) on hand (with your permission) to keep tails wagging! 😊

From this experience I’ve come to understand that communication, security, and safety of the pets is of upmost importance. Quick to respond and send daily updates to owners. Since the experience in San Francisco; patience, awareness, and learning the traits and quirks in every animal has been important in predicting behaviors and creating connections. My partner Max and I are also traveling house sitters with a 5 star rating and 16 house sits under our belt. We love to travel! We were able to explore every corner of the cities we’ve visited on walks, chill on comfortable couches with cats, and admire the way owner set up habitats for animals such as birds and fish, comfortable tending to any sort of animal and plant if requested! Max is from Berlin and between the both of us we speak Ukrainian, Polish, English and German Services I would love to offer range from boarding at my place or yours based on your preferences, stopping by to check in or stick around for the day, going for walks as I usually take walks to Victoria park or Tempelhof! With my schedule I work remote and also project based so I am able to leave my work anytime to attend to tasks, as I have open availability your buddy will be loved on at all times. Located in Mitte so we have many green spaces and lovely walks in our area. When it comes to walks and feeding I understand the importance of routine and try my best to follow the same schedule set in the pets home so they feel more comfortable. Similar when it comes to play time or training, if specifics are mentioned I usually try to upkeep during the boarding. As I have had experience with both WAG and THS I understand that details are important and every animal is different. From the start it is important that communication and the expectations for sitter are established. I like to make sure to be prepared and read all the details the owner states in the profile before confirming.

Über: I’ve had a lot of pets during my life, and have taken care of various pets from other people. Their company is full filing and I really enjoy it. I’ve had small dogs, like a Highland West Terrier and big ones like Rhodesian Ridgeback, so can manage anything. Also cats of any time and color. Throughout the years I have understood that each pet has their own personality, and that is why they have to be taken care in their own way. I study architecture and find myself at home most of the time. I have courses only 3 days a week for 3 hours. Great company I have a big apartment surrounded by great parks and green all around. My flat is clean and I don’t mind pets being on the furniture.

Über: I have been caring for kittens since I was 4 years old. Since then, I have never stopped adopting and caring for animals. I am very responsible with their walks, medication and food schedules. I dedicate time to play with them and I always pet and brush their fur if needed. I recently arrived in Berlin, so I'm available at any time, Monday through Sunday, always available to provide love and care to these furry friends. Obviously, I adapt to the pet's routine: feeding times, medication, needs, walks, affection, play, and other schedules. I adapt to them, not them to me.

Über: I have taken care of pets since I was a kid. I have had dogs since I was a kid and I was always involved in taking care of them. Also, I used to volunteer in an animal shelter so I am well experienced in taking care of different types of dogs: shy, feared, active, nervous, etc. Also, I have a dog who was mistreated and has a lot of fears, so I am well experienced in how to treat this types of pets. I’m currently working remotely, so I am able to be full-time at home. Also, my job allows me to be able to do several things at the same time. I don’t need to be in my computer all the time, so I have time to take walks and paying attention to the animals. I think it is important to take walks with the pets at least 3 times a day so I do that. I live in an area full of parks, so I am able to walk them in really nice places. If I need to go out of home, I always take with me the pets, I am not very fan of leaving the pets alone at the house as they get really stressed. I like to feed them twice a day, but that depends on the routine of the pet. When I walk them I always bring with me treats, to prize them when they have behaved correctly. I don’t believe in punishments when they behave wrongly, I believe in education the animal in a positive way.

 I'm from Poland, I've been living in Berlin for 2 years now and I'm definitely more of a dog person. I grew up in a house where there were always dogs! I have an experience as a dog sitter, back in Poland I was taking care of 2 chihuahuas for 3 years and 1 corgi-like dog for 4 years (truly miss them 💓). Here in Berlin I was already taking care of 3 chihuahuas 🫶 (I’m still their pet sitter:)) and many wonderful middle size mixed-breed dogs and from time to time I am still their pet sitter! 🥰 I believe I have good skills regarding dog training, I trained my 2 dogs in my family house how to sit, lay down, high five, play dead, turn around, spin, shake hands, catch a treat, roll over and walk with on a leash! ✨

Besides the course I’m really flexible since I can work anywhere and I can go on walks during work and everything!
