Über: Schon als Teenager habe ich auf die Hunde in unserer Nachbarschaft aufgepasst. Ich bin spazieren gegangen oder habe in den Ferien Urlaubsbetreuung gemacht. Jetzt wo ich in Berlin wohne, passe ich öfter auf den Hund (aus dem Tierschutz) von einer Freundin auf. Auch die zwei Katzen einer Freundin habe ich schon öfter betreut. Als Familie hatten wir früher selber einen Welpen, mit dem ich beim Welpentraining und in der Hundeschule war. Etwas später haben wir dann noch einen älteren Hund aufgenommen, um ihm in seinen letzten Jahren eine schöne Zeit zu machen. Seit 2020 haben wir zwei Katzen, um die ich mich bis zu meinem Umzug nach Berlin gekümmert habe. (Die Katzen wohnen weiter bei meiner Familie) Ich bin ziemlich flexibel. Da ich fast fertig mit meinem Studium bin, muss ich nicht mehr in die Uni. Neben dem Studium arbeite ich, bin da aber auch sehr flexibel und kann mir die Arbeitszeit legen wie es mir passt. Ich kann also meinen Wochenablauf auf die Haustierbetreuung anpassen. Da ich leider nicht weiß, ob ich Tiere in meiner Wohnung halten darf, würde ich die Tiere erstmal nur in der Wohnung der Besitzer betreuen.

Über: I was exposed in pet care since I was 7 years old ranging from toy to large breeds. I’m used to training puppies as our family used to take care a lineage of Shih Tzu. With Popsie now, I took care of him since he’s a 3-month old pup and taught him potty, leash and some tricks (sit & high five) trainings. I consider dogs as my happy pill! 😍🐶 I’m currently taking my MBA program and available to take schedules on my free days. If you feel like having a date night or enjoying a weekend or taking a long holiday break, you can rely on me for your pet caring needs. 😊 I tailor fit my approach depending on my pets personalities. At home in PH, Popsie is daily accompanied by my Mom’s Shih Tzu and my nieces’ Pekingese. Caring for these 3 fur babies at the same time taught me an approach to dogs that suit what they need from their caregivers. A typical example would look like this: Feeding time - Panda (Pekingese) goes first as he usually possessive when it comes to food. This keeps him busy first and have Popsie (Golden Retriever) and George (Shih Tzu) eat in peace. Vitamins administration - Popsie (Golden Retriever) goes first followed by Panda (Pekingese) as they’re easier to manage in administering pills. George (Shih Tzu) gets to be the last so he can see that he’s okay as he tends to be agitated with solids being administered directly in his mouth. Petting and Attention - Popsie (Golden Retriever) has to be greeted and touched first. He tends to be jealous if Panda (Pekingese) or George (Shih Tzu) gets the first attention. Transition to Panda and George happens when Popsie is calm and lying down on the floor.

Neben dem Studium arbeite ich 20 Stunden pro Woche im Homeoffice, was mir viel Flexibilität gibt – und ab nächster Woche habe ich sogar noch mehr freie Zeit. Da ich Tiere über alles liebe und selbst mehrere Jahre einen großen Hund und eine Katze betreut habe, freue ich mich riesig, nun auch anderen Fellnasen meine Zeit und Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Egal ob bei mir zu Hause oder im Zuhause des Tieres – mir ist wichtig, dass sich jedes Tier sicher, wohl und geliebt fühlt. Ich nehme mir Zeit, auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse jedes Tieres einzugehen, achte auf Routinen, Futterzeiten und natürlich auf ganz viel Zuwendung. Bei einem Besuch im Zuhause des Besitzers verhalte ich mich respektvoll, zuverlässig und halte mich genau an die Absprachen. Sollte das Tier zu mir kommen, sorge ich für eine ruhige, saubere und sichere Umgebung – ohne Stress oder Hektik. Vertrauen steht für mich an erster Stelle – sowohl zwischen mir und dem Tier als auch mit dir als Besitzer*in.

Über: Hi, I'm Mathieu. I'm French and I've been living in Berlin for about 2 years. Since my childhood we've always had dogs at home, 3 in total, who have been my friends for the first 18 years of my life. Since then my professional and personal life has always been on the move, so unfortunately I've never been able to take a dog back, and I don't want to give him an unstable life. For some time now I've been changing my professional world and working from home, so I have a lot of free time and above all I can manage my schedule as I please. I'd really like to be able to take advantage of this time to spend with animals, it would do me a lot of good, and if it could also help them...the useful and the pleasant. I'm a couple, we don't have a garden but a secure balcony and we'd be happy to take animals into our home too. I've known dogs and their behavior since I was a child, and I generally have a very good approach and a good "feeling" with them. I have no fears with them, so I can handle them with ease and kindness if care is needed. I've also worked with horses, so I think I'm comfortable looking after animals. I look forward to hearing from you. Tschuss As I work from home, I have plenty of time to make myself available. Whatever happens, I go out twice a day for a walk and a change of scene, so I'd love to do it in the company of animals. I live in a 66m2 apartment with my partner (who is also very fond of animals). We don't have a garden, but we do have a large, secure balcony: it's not accessible from the outside, so it's protected against theft, and the fence is completely solid and high enough, so there's no risk of falling. There's a park just down the road from us, and several others nearby too.

Über: I’ve had a dog for many years and I currently have two cats who have no issues with dogs. Like all empaths, I connect with them instantly. I guess what sets me apart, like rover suggests to specify, is that I sing to them, which they seem to enjoy. My star sign is cancer, so I’m very tender and gentle with them, which is particularly helpful when they get dropped off for the first time and are, rightfully, a bit anxious. Not much to be said, really. I just love animals :) I’m self employed and I work from home from 4 to 8/9 pm. My apartment is big enough for your dog to move comfortably around in. I would be with your dog in every moment, and yes, he\she can chill on my sofa and chew my (old) slippers if you allow it

Über: We are a couple both working fully remote at home. Beside the past experience taking care of our parents dog & cat, we now also have a female Shiba Inu with us, who is well-trained and gets along very well with people and dogs of various ages. We are here to provide a safe & fun cave with friendly company for your love, as we know exactly how being a pet owner feels like. For daily interactions with dogs, we like to maintain schedules, spend quality time in playing/exercising, positive reinforce but also clearly communicate the boundaries. If desired, we could help with puppy training as we have been through the process with professional trainer. We are working fully remote at home with flexible working schedules. We walk our dog 3-4 times a day, and the afternoon one is usually the longest for 1.5-2hrs in the park. Inside our apartment, your dog can either stay and play in the same room with our dog, or we can provide a separate room for better resting. We have plenty of toys to share, and when it comes to snacks & bones & filled toys we won’t just give without your consent. There’s a fully-fenced balcony with little artificial turf for a chill-out. Outside the apartment we have a fenced shared yard, but we prefer going out on the street & to the park. Based on the service, we will provide you with a questionnaire where we align on the preferences & requirements e.g. feeding frequency, training needs, teeth brushing, specific behaviour & traits. To ensure the best care of our dogs, for the first time of Day Care and Boarding service, we recommend having 1 short get2know to see how they feel with each other, and observe how your dog reacts to the new environment.

Mein Studium und meine Arbeit sind sehr flexibel. Als Heilerziehungspflegerin arbeite ich im Minijob mit flexibler Planung, sodass ich meine Zeit gut für die Haustier-betreuung einteilen kann. Ich wohne zusammen mit meiner Freundin in Kreuzberg ohne eigene Tiere. Wir wohnen im Hinterhof mit kleiner Terasse, der Hund darf sich in der Wohnung frei bewegen. Aber auch Gassi gehen ist selbstverständlich Teil meiner Betreuung, und je nach den Regeln der Besitzer darf der Hund auch auf die Couch, ganz nach den Gewohnheiten des Tieres.
