“Kona had a great stay at Shannon and David’s! They were welcoming and warm which made Kona very comfortable. Pictures were so cute. He loved the long walks too! We were able to have a great weekend in Ellicottville with no worries. I highly recommend them and would absolutely have Kona stay on our next visit!”

“Dana and Jeremy were great! They are so good to my dog and he loves them. He gets excited when we pull in their driveway. I feel relaxed because I know he is in good hands!”

“I can't say enough about Rory D. Her home was clean, neat, and very organized. She had a separate "bedroom" where Gigi would spend the night and relax when other pets were in the house. During her stay Rory gave Gigi the opportunity to meet and forge a friendship with another cat. I was so pleased! Rory followed all care requests. Rory sent pictures and videos of Gigi throughout her stay. Gigi appeared very content and happy. Gigi was well cared for and healthy when I picked her up at the end of her stay. Without any reservation I recommend Rory for pet sitting. She did an excellent job. I will definitely rebook with Rory D. the next time I need pet sitting services.”

“We were very pleased with Joan and Timothy. They sent a picture or video each day that our dog Daisy was with them. She was taken on many walks and they enjoyed time together like hanging out in the garage watching the outside. We would definitely use them again in the future.”

“Logan was great with my female German Shepherd. He gave her a lot of attention and exercise and kept in touch with pictures and how everything was going. I’ll be using him again.”

“Jennifer was incredible with our 9 month old puppy, Aurora. It was our first time leaving her with someone outside of family for an extended period of time and she did an awesome job of keeping our anxiety at bay. She has a huge backyard and a doggy door for puppies to roam as they wish and did a great job of keeping us updated regularly on how she was doing. Highly recommend!”

“Really happy to find Tammy. Our dog, Hank, loved his stay with her and her dogs. She has a big fenced in backyard and a comfortable house with a lot of toys for the dogs. We will use her again. She is a 30 minute drive from CHQ and well worth it given the care that she provides.”

“Our fuzzy boys had a great time. Chelsea & Derek were great with communications and sent us some great pictures during their stay. This was our first time using anyone but family to watch our dogs and we'll definitely be back.”

“Danielle was awesome! Gus had an amazing time and was so tuckered out when he got home yesterday which tells me he was well cared for and played a lot. She was very responsive and provided great updates daily.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.
“Lindsey did a fantastic job watching our goldendoodle. He loved the long daily walks and play time with her cute dog, and I enjoyed the daily updates and pictures. Vacations are much more relaxing when you know your dog is also having a great time. Looking forward to another booking, thanks Lindsey!”

“It was pretty daunting leaving my dogs with someone I had never met. My Boxer has separation anxiety so bad she got severe colitis last time I had to travel, so I knew a kennel setting would not be good for her. Getting pictures of the dogs completely relaxed and comfortable put my fears at rest almost immediately! Katie took excellent care of the dogs and took care on my worries as well! I would recommend her without hesitation :)”

“Karen and her husband were so hospitable and kind! They loved my dog as their own ❤️ They walked him, fed him, played with him and took plenty of photos for me! My dog is very expressive and we could really tell he was SO happy there- when we picked him up, it was so clear he LOOOVED them. They were so, so sweet when we picked him up/dropped him off and made both me and my husband feel so comfortable & safe leaving our baby with them.”

“Alli was a big help with Zoey! She made her feel right at home with her time, care and attention :) We had great communication and she was very flexible when we made a few changes due to our travel plans.”

“I am so excited that I found someone who will luv and take care of my fur babies like I would. This was the first time I left my babies with a sitter. Katie assured me they would be ok and for me to go enjoy myself on my little getaway! I am happy that I did! I luv how Katie made communication during their stay. I could see that my fur babies were well taken care of and was enjoying their stay. The walks, playtime, and other activities. Thank you Katie! You Rock!!!!!”

“Rylee was fantastic with Puppa. She took him for walks and played with other dogs while she was dogsitting. She fed him some chicken and rice, such a treat! Rylee updated me every few hours and send me videos of him having a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend her to dog sit and hope that Puppa can stay with her again.”

“Leah was very attentive and shared frequent updates about how my dog was adjusting. I’d definitely recommend Leah and am looking forward to boarding my dog with her again.”
