“Barb exceeded every expectation. She was polite, professional, and communicative. I had no concerns that our pet was well taken care of in our absence. I recommend her without hesitation.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my two lab mix dogs for 14 years and many others before Annie and Copper. Annie is a senior with issues such as she’s almost totally blind and her hips are very stiff but she still loves her walks. I’m patient and don’t mind cleaning up her accidents. My son flies me to Long Island 3 times a year to cat sit for Thea and Ollie and they are a joy! I would never rush and will always provide quality time with your pet. I took an early retirement in 2020 during Covid so I have plenty of time and I enjoy walking. I try to get in an average of 12,00 steps a day. I’m very respectful of other people’s property. I couldn’t care for a pet in my home because of my two dogs. They’re older and very set in their routine. I’m very used to feeding and washing out their bowls and making sure they always have water. Picking up after them is something I try to do asap. It’s more sanitary to always keep up with it and it also keeps them from stepping in it the next time they go out. I also cat sit for my neighbor and my son so scooping is no big deal either. If needed, I can brush your pet, wash their face, wipe their feet and even bathe if necessary.

“Mackenzie attended to our 2 cats while we were gone for the week on vacation. She was very reliable & responsive to our cats needs. Communication was excellent, updating us with pictures and texts.”

“Jess is professional and reliable. Five stars, no question about it. We trust her in our home and with our dogs, cats, ducks and chickens. She is a top choice when we travel.”

“Nina took great care of our two senior kitties while we were traveling abroad; she even went to the post office to pick up the pet meds that didn’t arrive on time prior to our departure. We returned home to two relaxed, happy cats. Your pets will be well looked after!”

“It was my son who arrived home after Jessica’s visits with me arriving a week later. He reported that everything was in order, the cats were in good health and all was well. I appreciate that she sent me daily photos and reports. My kitties are both seniors and aren’t always accepting of new people but I believe Jessica did a great job.”

About: As a kid we raised bassett hounds. My mother was a cruelty investigator. I helped her on cases from time to time. We raised ducks as well. I have owned many pets through out my life. I currently have 3 dogs and a service dog in the making. I worked at a kennel where I was the caretaker for two buildings taking care of close to 200 puppies a day. I cleaned up after them, sanitize their living area, fed them and gave them water. I fell in love with a little guy who kept being passed over. He had been there for 8months. I decided to bring him home and make him part of the fur family. It was very rewarding especially when they got a new home. No aggressive dogs please! All dogs must be current on their shots!

“MacKenzie was absolutely amazing. I was supposed to have someone else catsit for me, but they canceled last minute and MacKenzie was legit a lifesaver. My cats are typically pretty shy and reserved but they absolutely loved her. She is great and reliable and super nice. I had some packages outside and she brought those in for me. She was thorough and even my shyest cat let MacKenzie pet her. I can't help but recommend her!”

“Dave did a last minute drop in which we were sooo appreciative for that! The pups looked like they had some fun and lovin!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have experience taking care of most animals. I love spoiling my family dog and look forward to being able to take care of your pet(s)! I’m in charge of my work schedule! The three day notice will just help me make sure that my job is properly staffed while I’m gone. I’ve taken care of multiple dogs in other people’s homes. I usually get a list of how much/how often feeding should happen. Along with any special medicines/things that may be needed. NOTICE: I ONLY will be accepting jobs through Rover. Please don’t try to get me to do work that isn’t through here unless we’ve already met in person. I will not be accepting those jobs.

About: I have walked and interacted with various sizes and types of dogs and puppies. I have worked with pure bred dogs, stray dogs, and multi breed dogs. I am retired and working part time at a horse farm. My schedule is flexible, and I would love to meet your pet(s) and provide them with the best care possible. I am able to provide drop-in services at your home. I will keep your pet(s) cared for and your home clean. While I am new to Rover, I have cared for animals while people are away and can provide references at any time.

“Natalie did an amazing job taking care of my cat. My cat has advanced CKD and absolutely hates being boarded. Natalie took the time to come learn how to administer all of the medications so my cat could stay at home and be comfortable while I was away. Natalie arrived promptly each time and spent time to make sure everything was perfect. I had a fairly large checklist of items that needed to be done daily and Natalie took care of everything exactly the way I asked. This was the first time having someone come to my home to take care of my pet; however, Natalie went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfect while I was away, even bringing in my mail! Definitely recommend Natalie's services.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and rescued my big hunk of love Leo. I love dogs of all sizes, breed and ages and cats as well. I actually like dogs more than people. I also am a cute cat lover too! I have two black beauties that love to snuggle up but also play when they are feeling up for it. I have a pretty flexible schedule as I am a personal trainer and I teach fitness classes so I don’t have a typical 9-5 job. Feel free to ask questions. I crate my dog when I am at work. He loves going in it and waits for me to shut the door every morning before I leave.

Deborah C.
“Deb C. is my neighbor and also my cat sitter. Lucy (my cat) can be difficult, but Deb is great with her and they are becoming friends! She is dependable and goes beyond what is required. As a neighbor, I also get to see her interact with her own dogs. One of them is quite elderly and Deb patiently takes her for gentle, quiet walks every day. Deb and her husband have also befriended a neighborhood stray cat providing him with not only food, but also a warm, safe place to spend the nights. He is totally devoted to Deb's husband and can often be seen with him working in the yard. Deb would provide excellent care for anyone looking for a sitter or walker for their dog or cat. I would highly recommend her!”

“Rachel is the best with dogs & also cats! She would rescue every dog possible if she could. She treated her rescued pittie named Leo just like a child. He always had a chair at the campfire, she always took him on walks, he slept next to her in bed and she was always spoiling him. He was always getting dressed up for every holiday and he seemed to enjoy it. She is always around her mom and sisters dogs as well. I would trust her with my animals with no worries.
