“I feel so lucky to have found Erika. She's so good with my nervous dog and incredibly accommodating with me. Today we did a "warm up" run since my pup hasn't been with anyone else in a while and when I arrived, my dog was in a great mood and had plenty of energy. That's always the sign that she had a good day. It was just a short stay, but Erika took her for a nice walk, got her out to pee several times, and took plenty of pics. She's truly a rockstar pet sitter.”

“Allison was AMAZING!! As if I wasn't already impressed with her reviews, our meet & greet confirmed that she will be our PERMANENT sitter for our fur baby Fendi!! He immediately clung to her, I loved the genuine heart she had for him as if he was her own. And on his vist visit with her HE ATE!! Which showed just how comfortable he was with her. She was very accommodating for a last minute sitting appointment which with our schedules is huge!! Thanks Allison!! We will see you again VERY soon!!”

“Such an awesome experience from first contact to drop-off and pickup! Dennise is absolutely amazing - so helpful, caring, and genuinely wonderful to work with. She made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. I won’t hesitate to book our little guy with her again. Highly recommend! Thank you so much, Dennise!”

“WOW!! JUST WOW!!! I read the reviews prior to booking and let me just say this… THE REVIEWS SERVE NO JUSTICE!!! He’s waaaaaaay better than even what all the reviews say! Bentley was soo loved on and happy I could see he was having fun and wasn’t even ready to leave I can’t wait for his next visit! Mr Stanley was a PERFECT sitter and I can’t thank him enough!”

“Bri and her husband were great! They were waiting for us when we arrived and made Nyla feel so comfortable, slowly introducing her to the other dogs. I got the cutest photos and regular updates. We will definitely be back!”

“Brenton is an amazing guy that did great with my pitbull that’s very hyper with separation anxiety we will definitely use him again he is absolutely awesome”

About: I provide quality care for your fur babies day in and day out ☺️ I love animals and I volunteer at the local animal shelter. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! Thanks! 🐕🐈 I currently work from home💻, so I have all day to spend loving and caring for your pets 😁. We can go on walks or eat treats according to your schedule.🐶🐱 I’m super safe and cautious when I administer pet care. I keep a lookout and monitor behavior very closely. My home is safe and my backyard is closed in. I live in a smoke-free and child free household 🏡
“Sunny had another great daycare day! 🥰 Stacey is so experienced, and you can tell she truly cares. She’s always so patient with all my first-time dog mom questions lol, and I know Sunny is safe, happy, and having the best time with her. We’re excited for his boarding stay next week! 💛🐾”

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was four years old. I’ve raised cats and dogs together and even birds. I train my own dogs with the basic skills. I’m currently retired and pet sitting helps keep me busy and active. Animals are so comforting and they are a joy to be around, they're like kids. I have a dog at home and your pet is free to roam or be crated if you like. I am flexible and will cater to all your pet needs. I will give them plenty of exercise and play time.
“Lipika was amazing. My usually nervous, anxious dog seemed perfectly at ease when I picked her up at the end of her stay. I got so many updates throughout the day with pictures and videos. She was fed and walked multiple times. She had a comfortable stay in their home and access to their yard as well. I would recommend this doggy day care to anyone who is considering. Thank you for taking great care of my dog!”

“Maria did amazing with Lexie! Lexie had some separation anxiety and got into some food when Maria left but she handled it really well and kept me informed. Highly recommend her!”
“It was actually another review that got my attention when I was urgently looking for a sitter. And I have no regret in believing it. Russell is very friendly and he provides good feedback as well. You know it when your dog doesn't want to leave him when you pick him up later. I really really wish I'd known him sooner :)”

About: I’m new to Rover, but definitely not new to animals. I grew up in the South with some kind of animal always nearby, and over the years that has included dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, rescues and fosters. I’ve always been the person friends and family felt comfortable leaving their animals with. I have two rescue cats and a German Shepherd mix named Rocky. Rocky came to me severely underweight with some pretty complicated behavioral needs, so he’s taught me a lot about reactivity, body language, triggers, patience and meeting an animal where they actually are. That’s probably the easiest way to describe how I care for pets. I pay attention. I want to know when they eat, where they sleep, what makes them nervous, what gets them excited and whatever strange little household rule they’ve decided everyone must obey. I’m not coming in to reinvent their life while you’re gone. I want their day to still feel like their day. On walks, that means I’m paying attention to the dog in front of me rather than trying to hit some arbitrary mileage goal. Some dogs want to MOVE. Others apparently need a full forensic investigation of one shrub. Both are fine with me. For drop-ins, I’m happy to handle meals, water, potty breaks, play, medications we’ve discussed and the normal little things that keep their routine intact. With cats, I’m perfectly content letting them decide whether I’ve been invited into their social calendar. I also keep an eye on the things I’d want someone noticing with my own animals: appetite, energy, bathroom habits, behavior and anything that seems different from normal. You’ll get an actual update from me, not just “Simon ate 👍.” I’m also a professional portrait photographer here in Charlotte, so you can expect plenty of good pictures. Fair warning: your dog may end up with a better headshot than you have. More than anything, I want you to be able to leave without wondering whether somebody is actually paying attention. I take being trusted with someone’s animal and home seriously. The rest of it can feel easy. Pet PARENTS! A quick note about pets in my home: I have two cats and a dog of my own, but visiting pets are kept completely separate from them. My cats have their own section of the house, and Rocky is kept separately as well. Your pet will never interact with any of my animals unless we’ve discussed it beforehand, arranged a proper introduction, and specifically agreed that it makes sense. There are no surprise meet-and-greets or shared spaces. My schedule is intentionally flexible, which gives me plenty of time to make pet care a real part of my day rather than something I’m squeezing in between other commitments. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins and longer care, including daytime hours when many pet parents are at work. I keep my calendar current and avoid overbooking so every pet gets the time and attention they’re expecting. I have a tall, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for fresh air, play and supervised outdoor time. My own pets live separately within my home, so visiting pets can have their own space and settle in without being overwhelmed. They will remain separate unless we’ve discussed an introduction beforehand and everyone is comfortable. In your home, I follow your routines closely, from feeding and walks to doors, gates, equipment and house rules. I pay attention to body language and changes in behavior, and my experience with reactive dogs has taught me to stay calm, observant and confident rather than force an interaction. Whether I’m in your home or mine, the goal is the same: your pet should feel safe, understood and completely cared for.
“Ashley was great with our little dog and she made a new friend with Prissy her sweetheart. Regular updates which was much appreciated as we have never left our little girl. Very professional and friendly. Yes I would highly recommend Ashley and wouldn't hesitate to use her again if I am in the area. Thank you again.”

“Rita was awesome, sent lots of pics and updates throughout the day. Our puppy Bear had the best time playing with new friends, came home happy and tuckered out each day. He can't wait to get back”

Brenton was flexible and fantastic. I was traveling and really needed somewhere to keep Oakley for the day, and he did everything he could to make it easy for me and comfortable for Oakley. I highly recommend and feel happy to know I have somebody to watch Oakley the next time I visit Charlotte.

River was a huge help when we needed last-minute care for Archie. Meeting at the dog park was the perfect way to introduce Archie to her dog, and it was clear right away that she was thoughtful about making everyone comfortable. She was easy to communicate with, flexible, and took great care of Archie while we were away. I really appreciated her help and would happily work with her again. 10/10
