About: Hello Paw-rents! My name is Alyssa Hooten, and I live in a small house in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of Evansville. I have two dogs, one little pup, Poppy, and one big boy, Forrest! They both love to play and cuddle and look forward to meeting new friends! My personal experience working with animals started with my first pet when I was 6! Since then I have only ever fallen more in love with working with pets! I have 2 years of professional work experience as I have worked at and with shelters, rescues, pet daycare facilities, and pet boarding businesses. I have worked as a kennel technician and my responsibilities included feeding, giving medications (via pills, injections, or skin care), cleaning up for the animals (their temporary living spaces and themselves if necessary), and basic training! I am experienced at working with animals of all ages, sizes, and shapes! I am currently working full time and am enrolled full time as a student at an online college. I usually study from home and I work as a preschool teacher every weekday from 6am-4pm. I also keep a strict schedule on getting pets enough time outside to play and to potty throughout the day! I have a large yard that is divided by a smaller fenced in section and a larger open section with two tie-outs that are only used with supervision! My neighborhood is quiet and safe with plenty of fun places to sniff when on walks! I also live close to the 4-H center which offers more space for playing, walks, and training! I have one little dog and one bigger pup! Both of them are super comfortable and friendly with other dogs and cats of any size! I allow my pets on the furniture and free to wander throughout my house as long as I am home! I do have my house sectioned off if you would like to keep your pet separated from mine for any reason :)

About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I worked at PetSmart where I cared for fish, small animals, reptiles, and cats. I now work at a vet clinic where I help care for cats and dogs. I have four cats of my own who are all on medication. I am very comfortable with administering medication. I have pet sat for my friends and family several times in the past. I am also going to school to become a veterinary technician! I’m currently working full time, but I am able to do check in visits before and after work. Also, can during my lunch break if needed. At this time I am unable to offer care for your pets in my home due to having several of my own. But I can’t wait to care for your fur babies in their home!

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and bunny rabbits. I have extensive care with cats, and rabbits, as I have personally owned them for many years. I am very detail-oriented, punctual, and affectionate towards your animals! I’d love the opportunity to help you out and give you a great Rover experience. I work a full-time job that has very limited hours, so I am available weekdays and weekends. My job is very flexible, so I am very open to scheduling and have a wide variety of availability. I am very gentle and loving towards your pet, and I will do my absolute best to keep them safe, happy, and healthy while you are away!

About: I grew up with a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have a vested interest in dog training and am currently enrolled in the Karen Pryor Academy to further my education. I have trained my own dog Lorelei into earning her CGC, Novice, and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles. She has anxiety issues, so this gave me valuable knowledge in working with nervous dogs and leash pullers. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday full days at a medical office. Tuesday is our half day so I am available after 1pm. I’m available all day on the weekends and Thursdays to walk and/or drop in on fur babies. I believe in positive reinforcement works wonders in building a relationship with any animal. Both of my dogs are trained using praise and rewards. I also always double check equipment used before a walk just to make sure it’s all in working order. I also bring a slip lead in case of emergencies. I also have experience working with gaining the trust of anxious dogs.

About: I spent a year working at a pet boarding facility called “The Farm At Natchez Trace” in Fairview Tn. I moved out to Evansville for college and I started working at the Vanderburgh Humane Society. I am currently unemployed so I can focus more on college which leaves my schedule open! I also have experience with dog training! I’m currently unemployed and in online college so my schedule is very flexible! I am looking to pet sit/ dog walk/ take care of cats as much as possible! Currently I’m only able to pet sit in a clients home but I am willing to learn how to take care of pets exactly how their owners want and I’m very respectful of other people’s belongings!

About: I currently work at a local dog grooming shop and volunteer at the humane society regularly. I graduated with a dog trainer certification from an online program a few months ago. I have been accepted into the Vet Tech program at octc and will begin in the fall. I have experience training and caring for both very large dogs and very hyper puppies. I also have experience safely handling reactive dogs. My personal favorite type of dog to work is the large and rowdy ones who never seem to run out of energy. Aside from the usual services offered on here (walks, drop in visits, etc) I can also help with basic obedience, leash training, and nail trims. I am currently working part time but will be available Friday- Sunday as well as most weekdays after 3pm. I try to keep my schedule on here accurate and updated. I think every dog needs to be handled differently. I always like to hear as much as the owner can tell me about the dog before handling him/her. Ive mentioned my experience handling reactive dogs, meaning if your pet doesn't get along with other dogs or people (pulling on the leash, lunging, barking) I will still be fine with handling the pet as long I am confident in my ability to do so safely.

About: Hello! As the current owner of 3 beloved dogs, I would love nothing more than to spend quality time helping you take care of yours! For the past 10 years, I've not only had my own pets in my home, but also been actively fostering and volunteering with humane societies to get homeless animals adopted! My dogs are my babies so expect yours to be treated the same when I'm taking care of them. Anything from special treats to playing fetch in the yard to snuggling in bed with us, I want your pet to feel right ar home. And with my experience fostering, my dogs are acclimated to other dogs in their home; they will be best friends in no time. Any questions, just ask! I work 8:30am until 5:30pm Monday through Friday, with an hour long lunch break. I usually stop in the morning around 7:30 or 8am. Evening check-ins are after 6pm. I can also do a lunch time walk / drop-in anytime between 11:30 & 1:30pm. My schedule is fairly flexible so we can usually make it work in a way best for your pet! I love on each pet as if they were my own. I am happy to play fetch in the yard or cuddle on the couch together. Face licks and excited jumps are all part of getting to know a dog.

About: I've cared for dogs since I was a kid. I've had senior dogs and those with extensive medical needs. I understand how important it is to know your furry friend is safe abs comfortable to truly enjoy a get away or have peace of mind during travels. I can offer drop in or walking services any day of the week between 8am and 8pm. For drop ins, I can come 2-3xs and stay 15-20 mins each time. For walks, I can take them for up to 30 mins once a day. Currently, I have 2 pups; Cooper, a 5 year old rescued Mastiff and Abby, a 3 year old rehomed mix breed. If you trust me to watch your pets, I guarantee I will engage them in a safe and fun manner to break up their day, play with them as you desire, administer medication, provide food/ water, and clean up any mess required.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, currently have 3 dogs and two cats split between both of my houses. I have always had a passion for animals. I would do anything for your pets and take the best care of them!! I currently work part time at target. Right now my hours are down and I’m looking to make some extra money. I usually go to the gym in and the morning with my schedule free the rest of the day! I have fenced in yard at both my houses (mom or dads). I can stop in to your house whenever needed or can board at my house!

About: I have been around all kinds of animals most of my life. I currently own a husky and a German Shepherd blue heeler mix. I also have 3 cats. I have volunteered at vet clinics and have went through service dog training for my uncle who has PTSD. I also dog sit for friends and family when needed. I worked at Barkefellers a pet hotel for 2 years and have learned a lot about different dog breeds and behaviors from my time being there. About: I have cared for beagles, a labrador, as well as two cats. I also have experience caring for snakes and a baby tarantula. I have cared for two labradors of a friend of mine while they were on vacation. My availability varies. Just message me and we’ll work something out. I am working on my pet grooming certification. I hope to also breed reptiles in the future. I can clean out litter boxes, feed and water kitties. I can care for dogs. I can let them out of the house to potty whether they need a leash or not. About: I am a recent animal science grad from Virginia Tech, pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. My journey in this field began at a young age when I commenced volunteering at an animal shelter, an endeavor that has remained a cherished source of solace and fulfillment. Over the years, I have garnered hands-on experience through roles as a kennel attendant and doggy daycare handler at a veterinary clinic and grooming center. Presently, I am engaged in an internship under the guidance of a seasoned veterinarian. Additionally, I have accumulated four years of experience in house and pet sitting, catering to animals of varying sizes, ranging from 150-pound Cane Corsos to 10-pound Yorkies, and have cared for both arthritic and diabetic seniors in the past. Complementing this professional background, I am also a devoted owner of three dogs. Taking time off before moving and starting a new job. I’m currently free all day to hangout with your fur babies, happy to help make your schedule easier! Whether you have a couch potato or a runner, I’m happy to do it all! About: I've had dogs most of my life and enjoy walking and snuggling them! I know some dogs are trickier than others and have separation anxiety, and handle that well. I work from home so I have time in the mornings, lunchtime and evenings to walk and take care doggos and kitties! I have a dog myself that I walk 2x daily and know the importance of daily exercise. I have a doggo to keep your dog entertained, and lots of land (2.5 acres for them to run around and play), or a nice comfy couch to rest on.

About: I have always had a dog growing up from a small Dachshund to an Anatolian Shepherd. My schedule is easy to adjust if needed anytime! I currently work part time in retail so I am available for drop in visits and walking. Days vary but I am very flexible with my schedule. I treat pets as if they are a person… I will make sure they are feeling loved and getting exercise if that is needed depending on the owners wants!

I started training dogs at 13 by training my own 2 dogs and also grew up with 2 cats. I am responsible, caring, compassionate, active, and will spoil your pet if you let me! I can provide your dog with a spacious fenced backyard and a nice neighborhood to walk. I have two friendly and spoiled miniature golden doodles (25 lbs).
