Justin has been wonderful in walking my 2 large dogs. They would sit at the door and wait when they knew he was coming. He was very thorough, friendly and polite. I would highly recommend him.

About: I’ve Worked with dogs all my life and love every minute of it! I am a dog groomer for my full time job, but do that from home. I worked as a daycare/trainer manager for three years and learned all about dog body language, correct ways to introduce, and learned how to prevent fights between any two dogs. I can administer any medication; pills, insulin, subQ fluids, etc. I have a fully fenced yard with a kiddie pool and shade in the summer and beds to relax in the sun in the winter. My house is fully dog proof! No carpet, dog door, and separate areas outside for different play styles and sizes of dogs. For sleeping arrangements each dog will have their own kennel. I also feed them in their own kennels to prevent any resource guarding or fighting over food. I DO USE KENNELS/CRATES for sleeping, eating, and unsupervised time. I have 3 very friendly dogs of my own that are very well behaved. When I’m not working, everyone gets to be free and have a great time!! I work from home, which means I’m here 98% of the time. I have dogs of my own so having others is just part of the lifestyle I chose and love. Dogs are introduced to other dogs slowly and based completely on their comfort level; some dogs are all go when meeting playmates, others aren’t sure so we take that in to account when your dog comes here. I always introduce them to my solid “demo dog” first to see how they’ll react, then go from there. I do not leave dogs out playing together unattended - if I have to leave then everyone goes in a kennel.

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve worked in a dog boarding/daycare environment, so I’m very comfortable handling multiple dogs at once, reading body language, and making sure every pet stays safe, happy, and well cared for. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, whether that’s high-energy playtime, slow and gentle walks, or just a calm environment with lots of attention. I’m especially mindful of pets who may be nervous, older, or need a little extra patience. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, and any special care needs, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away. I also have experience working as a dog bather and would be happy to provide baths during your pet’s stay. This includes a full bath, rinse, and dry to get your pup clean and fresh; however, I do not offer haircuts or grooming trims. I’m comfortable handling dogs during bath time, including those who may be a little nervous, and I always aim to keep the experience as calm and stress-free as possible. I treat every animal like they’re my own and truly enjoy building trust with both pets and their owners. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! I have a very flexible schedule and am available anytime throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m able to adjust to your pet’s routine and needs, whether that means early visits, multiple check-ins, or last-minute bookings. I’m happy to work around what’s best for you and your pet to make sure they get consistent, reliable care. I take safety and trust very seriously when caring for pets in their home environment. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely and make sure doors, gates, and any entry points are securely closed at all times to keep pets safe. I pay close attention to routines and surroundings so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar space with minimal disruption. I’m mindful of each pet’s behavior and body language, and I take steps to prevent stressful or unsafe situations before they happen. Whether it’s managing interactions between pets, keeping a calm environment, or sticking to specific feeding and medication schedules, I make sure every detail is handled with care. I also respect my clients’ homes and privacy. I keep everything clean, organized, and exactly as I found it, and I always communicate clearly and promptly so you feel confident and updated while you’re away.

We have an out of town wedding coming up in August and we will for sure be using Jaren to stay at our house with our pups as well as maybe take a little vacation before the wedding. We really enjoyed meeting and getting to know Jaren

About: With six years of experience in dog/house sitting and dog walking, I have cultivated a strong rapport with both pets and their owners. My journey began with a genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing them with the care and attention they deserve while their owners are away. Dog Walking: As a dog walker, I prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of each dog I care for. I understand the importance of regular exercise and socialization for dogs, and I tailor each walk to meet their individual needs. My approach includes: • Ensuring safety during walks by using appropriate leashes and harnesses. • Adapting routes to accommodate the dog’s energy level and preferences. • Providing companionship and engagement, making walks enjoyable and stimulating. House Sitting: In my role as a house sitter, I take on the responsibility of maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for pets and their homes. My services include: • Feeding, grooming, and administering medication as needed. • Maintaining daily routines to reduce stress for pets. • Keeping the home secure and tidy, including watering plants and collecting mail. • Regular updates for pet owners, ensuring peace of mind while they’re away. Commitment to Care: I am dedicated to fostering a loving and safe environment for pets in my care. My goal is to provide not only a service but also companionship, ensuring that each pet feels comfortable and valued during their owner’s absence. My experience allows me to handle various breeds and temperaments with confidence and care. Having 2 cats myself I dedicate myself daily to making sure they’re each happy and well cared for. Love playing with them and keeping them sharp! Stick to daily routines since animals tend to rely on schedules. Love to make sure everyone’s cared for as well as the space they live in.

About: I first fell in love with caring for animals with my family dog, who I cared for and loved throughout my childhood and early adulthood, including as a senior dog. I’ve lived with and loved cats as well. I’ve also volunteered at a local shelter with dogs, and I loved my time there. Currently, I dog and cat sit for friends and family, and I would absolutely love to provide the best care for your pet! Pet care works well with my schedule. I work a hybrid remote job, which allows me to work from home for majority of the day. This means I’ll be readily available to care for your pet throughout the day. I love going on walks and spending time outdoors, and am happy to take your pet (dog) with me! I understand that inviting someone into your home takes a lot of trust and communication. While caring for your pet in your home, I will always follow any instructions left for me, stay respectful and courteous, and communicate via photos, texts, or calls- whatever works for you!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Dammeron Valley. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Dammeron Valley.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dammeron Valley. On Rover:

  • 83% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 83% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
