“Brooke and her family were great! I had to find boarding on a moments notice and Brooke was so good to me and Ryder. Ryder had a great time staying with Brooke and her family! Thanks so much for watching my baby!”

“Irene has been such a great find in the Berkshires! She always gives helpful communication with each stay, and Ruby seems to love her time with Irene (and her sweet dog Goldie). Thanks for all of the care that you give to Ruby - we'll see you soon!”

“Yenifer took excellent care of my dog. He was so happy with her! She made sure she communicated everyday with us during the stay, sent us pictures and updates. We are very happy with her services and would strongly recommend her. Thank you, Yenifer.”

“Tetiana was amazing with our two older Tibetan spaniels. She sent us tons of photos and kept us updated on their care. She was very accommodating and took care of our dogs like her own. Would 100% recommend!”

“Our dog had a fabulous stay with Mahayla! Since it was our first time, Mahayla offered to come to our home to get to know our pup before caring for her the next day. They hit it off immediately and Mahayla explained her background in animal/dog behavior studies and reassured us that all would go well... and it did! Our pup had a blast trail hiking and also just relaxing at Mahayla's home. Mahayla clearly understands and loves dogs, and it was clear that she was focused on our dog's enjoyment, comfort level and care. She was also focused on our needs as the owners. Leading up to care day she was extremely responsive. On care day she sent photos and updates. A perfect stay...thanks, Mahayla!”

About: Hi! My name is Joss, and I’m a passionate animal lover with years of experience caring for pets. I’ve had dogs and other pets throughout my life, so I understand how important they are as members of the family. I’m responsible, patient, trustworthy, and caring, and I always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat your furry friend as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is to give you peace of mind while providing your pet with the attention, affection, and care they deserve. If you have any questions or would like to schedule pet care, please don’t hesitate to call or text me . I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry friend! I provide loving, attentive, and reliable care for every dog as if they were my own. I take dogs out for potty breaks at least three times a day and make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I love taking dogs on long walks, visiting dog parks, going on hikes, and enjoying outdoor adventures whenever possible. Since I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend quality time with your pet instead of rushing through visits. My goal is to make sure your dog stays happy, active, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I can also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you always know how your furry friend is doing! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a safe, clean, and pet-friendly home where dogs can relax and feel comfortable. I always keep a close eye on the pets in my care and make sure they’re supervised, happy, and well cared for at all times. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I’m happy to follow your instructions to help them feel right at home. My goal is to provide a loving, stress-free environment where your furry friend feels safe, comfortable, and treated like family.
“My dog was well taken care of and didn't spend my vacation locked up in a kennel, so I didn't have to worry about her. Aura sent pictures and updates every day, and I was very happy with the whole situation.”

About: I absolutely love animals. I have been helping friends and neighbors with watching their pets for years. I currently have two dogs myself, one with complicated medical needs. I am confident I would be able to care for your pets no matter their age. I currently work from home 3-4 days per week and am available most weekends. I currently have two dogs ourself and their needs are part of my daily life. I have a fenced in backyard. I live in a dead-end street near the rail trail so walks are a breeze and do not have me near any main roads. I do have two Pomeranians to keep your pets company while with us. Both of my dogs are fixed and friendly.

“Mary & Todd are a dream come true! We were very nervous leaving our baby with someone we didn’t know, for the first time, and Mary made us feel so beyond comfortable. The photos, updates and check ins made us think Tilly may never want to come back home! Our pup went for rides, walks, runs, errands, ball chases and partook in endless fun for two straight days. I’m not sure how Mary & Todd could possibly have more energy than our dear Tilly but she’s officially exhausted and had the adventure of a lifetime. My husband joked that we should do this as a doggy camp once a month, we just may ask if they’d be down!”

“Patti took such good care of our boy for a whole month. We wouldn’t leave him with anyone else for that long. She and her pack are the best! He was so loved and at home there and came back to us happy and healthy. Thanks, Patti!”
About: I waitress, have taken care of seniors and am a certified yoga instructor. I have had cats, dogs, chicks, fish, hamsters. I currently do not own any pets. Pets to me are precious friends who are to be taken care of like children. With full attention, support and love. I work from home so I am able to provide that kind of care. I work from home (virtually) and can accommodate boarding weekdays and weekends. I keep a clean and tidy home and have a gorgeous park very close by. Pet care fits in my routine as I used to have a cat until recently. I care for pets with respect and integrity. Showing them love and care. Keeping them and the area around them clean. Accommodating to their needs by always keeping an eye for out for them.
“5 Stars!! Kathleen and her husband were amazing! Dudley came home happy and VERY welll cared for. The property is very dog friendly and Kathleen's dogs were a delight and accommodating to a new visitor. Can't express enough how grateful we are to have found Kathleen.”

“This is our second time having our dog stay with Deanne. My dog has a great time with her. She has been extremely flexible with unexpected changes in our travel plans and the pup hates to leave her home. We will continue to use her services!”

“Jenifer took great care of Jax, encouraging the manners we have trained him with, giving him plenty of attention and exercise, as well as provide updates to us throughout the weekend. She is very communicative and accommodating with pick up and drop and just a genuinely nice human who loves dogs. we would absolutely recommend her and book with her again.”

“Arrow had a wonderful time staying with Karl. We had a meet and greet which was very professional and welcoming, and Arrow got to meet Karl's (super sweet) dogs while I checked out the accommodations and shared details about Arrow's needs. Drop off and pick up or a breeze and while we were away we got plenty of pictures of our boy having fun. I recommend this sitter.”

About: Hi! I’m Maura, a high school English teacher who has lived and worked in the Berkshires for 19 years. I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds, and my goal is simple: to provide safe, personalized care so you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your pets. Now accepting bookings for my private pet guest house, Booked and Boarded! Unlike a traditional kennel, I board only one pet family at a time, allowing your pets to enjoy a calm, low-stress stay with individualized attention. The guest house opens directly into a fully fenced backyard, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for safe outdoor play while enjoying a cozy, home-like environment. The space is also designed with (indoor) cats in mind! Booked and Boarded is a perfect space for pets (and owners!) who want a quieter, more personal boarding experience. In addition to private boarding, I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and small farm sitting throughout the Berkshires. Whether you need someone to check on a new puppy, care for a senior pet, or manage a small farm while you’re away, I’d love to help. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, rats, large aquariums, horses, cows, goats, and pigs. In addition to caring for my own animals, I have experience managing an equine boarding facility with 19 horses on the property and am comfortable handling a wide variety of animal personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I am experienced with: • Puppies and kittens • Senior pets • Oral medication administration • Basic trick training and potty training • High-energy dogs • Shy or anxious animals • Horses and livestock requiring daily care routines I also offer red light therapy sessions for pets, both small and large, upon request. When your pet stays with me at Booked and Boarded, you can expect plenty of communication. I send regular photos, videos, and updates throughout their chapter with me, and every boarding guest goes home with a personalized treat bag and a fun “report card” highlighting their time at Booked and Boarded. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave beloved pets behind when traveling. That’s why I prioritize communication, reliability, and individualized care so you can feel confident your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely enjoying themselves while you’re away. Whether you’re visiting the Berkshires for a weekend, heading out for a day of boating, skiing, or sightseeing, or leaving town for a longer trip, I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own. Please feel free to reach out with any questions about services, availability, or your pet’s specific needs. I look forward to meeting you and your animals! Find Booked & Boarded on Facebook! I’m always running errands for my pets, spending time with my pets, or I’m at the barn with my horse. Taking care of the needs of my own pets is one of my top priorities, and I can easily work your furry friend into my schedule! It’s important that we discuss your specific expectations and needs as a pet owner/parent to ensure that you get the best care! Every pet owner and pet is different and I want to tailor my approach to what your pet is used to and comfortable with.
“Both of our dogs were calm and relaxed after a 4-day stay. James was attentive to all of their needs and was very kind. His roomates were a bonus, because someone was almost always around to hang out with our dogs! Thanks James, we will be back!”
“Heidi did a fantastic job taking care of our puppy, Kaju. She was great about sharing pictures and updates, which made us feel so at ease. Kaju came back happy and well-cared for. Highly recommend her!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
