About: Hi! I’m an active dog lover and runner who loves starting my mornings outside, and I’d love to help your pup do the same! 🐾 I know how busy work schedules can get, and sometimes dogs just need a chance to stretch their legs, burn some energy, and enjoy some fresh air. I offer morning walks and drop-ins to help your pet get exercise before the heat of the day sets in. Whether your dog needs a chill walk or to get some miles in I’ll treat them like my own. I have years of hands-on experience caring for my own animals and understand that every pet has their own personality and activity needs. Let me help your pup start their day happy, exercised, and ready to relax while you focus on whatever your day brings! 🫶🏻☀️ Im currently working as a bartender in the evenings and am studying at germanna online this semester. I enjoy getting some miles in early before it gets hot to get the day started right. Each booking I will come prepared with water, a portable bowl, and potty bags. If your dog is food motivated please feel free to leave me your dogs favorite training snack or kib to bring along for our walk. As someone with a dog who has a sensitive tummy I will never provide any food items to your dog unless it is provided and explicitly directed to.

About: Currently at home i have 2 dogs, i have been taking care of dogs since around 12 years old. I love learning about a dog’s personality, and finding fun things that can tire them out! I love all kinds of dogs but i particularly love larger dogs. I have a Goldendoodle at home and have been around German Shepherds and Mastiffs growing up, so no matter the breed i am excited to get to know them! I just had a newborn so my client pet care will center on weekends so that i can help my wife throughout the week. I care for 3 animals at home daily, so travelling to take care of other dogs will not be an issue. Whether in my home or a client’s home, im always vigilant in keeping a tidy area as dogs are curious and can get into potentially harmful items. I will usually see if they need to potty every 4-5 hours depending on the time they ate, and i always make sure they have water and something to entertain them.

Andrew is absolutely incredible!! We had to go out of town last minute and needed someone for our big rescue who still needs lots of training and care. His experience and general knowledge with all types of breeds made me feel so comfortable leaving our Millie in his care. He left great updates for every visit and ensured that she got good exercise and kept to her more recent training. Andrew will definitely be our go-to and on call guy for all stop ins and walks!

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life and have always had pets since I was a kid. I’m really friendly with my friends’ pets and sometimes I’m more excited to see their pets than them😂. I’ve watched over some of my friends’ pets from time to time (cats and dogs). I have experience with both small dogs and large dogs as my one dog is a miniature dachshund, and my other is a Great Dane/German Shepherd Mix. I’m home from college so I’m free most of the day to care for pets whether it’s a walk, visit, to play, etc. I will be moving back to Richmond for college August 15th! I have family at home to watch my own pets so I can stop by and visit whenever if it’s at a reasonable time. I’m fairly perceptive of pet moods and, especially with cats, can tell when pets wanna be left alone or want to play. My pets all have different personalities so I can adapt fairly well to different personalities. I let pets out regularly and am down to play if they’re bored.

About: I’ve had plenty of dogs my entire life as well as taken care of friends and families dogs. Overnight, check ins or walking. I love walking dogs especially and playing with all animals. I will provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pets so you’re worry free while away from them! Currently between jobs and am a full time online college student. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

About: Growing up with dogs all my life along with my animal science major I well versed in medication routines, early morning to late night potty breaks, special dietary needs to the ones who have been loved past their youth and need a little extra care. I’ve been bit, scratched, slobbered and thrown up on and there is nothing too much to handle I’m working part time at a restaurant however I am more than willing to make time during off days for your fur-babies, walks and regular exercise, quick check ins and long stays I will make time to do. Pets are watched closely, mostly nearly medication administration and meal time. If desired I can feed at specific times and can adapt a medication schedule periodically for any and all fur babies.

I'm Seyla, a dog enthusiast who's finally living the dream of having a furry companion. You see, my childhood dream of owning a dog was delayed due to public housing restrictions, but now that I'm a proud homeowner with a fenced yard, I've got my paws full! Currently, I share my home with four fantastic dogs who are not only friendly but also well-trained. My very first four-legged friend was Bruno, the Rottweiler, and we've been inseparable since he was a pup. Bruno received top-notch training at Apple Jack's K9 in St. Mary's County, and I've been using the valuable tools and techniques I learned there ever since. As if four dogs weren't enough, I'm also a part-time volunteer at "Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland," where we rescue animals from less-than-ideal situations. And, on top of that, I've opened my heart and home to foster dogs from the Humane Society of Charles County. It's safe to say that I have a deep and abiding love for our furry friends! So, why should you entrust your fur baby to me? Well, I've got about 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, and I genuinely believe I offer the best boarding and doggy daycare service around, spanning a radius of at least 50 miles (if not more). Don't just take my word for it—visit our Facebook page (spRover80) to watch videos, view pictures, and read the glowing reviews. You'll see for yourself that you're getting the most bang for your buck! If you adore your dog as much as I love mine, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them with someone new. But I'm here to show you just how much I adore dogs by offering an array of wonderful activities. Your furry companion will join me on invigorating hikes and walks (twice daily), covering 1-2 miles each time, as we explore some of the finest parks (see below for the full list) in Southern Maryland, at least in my opinion! For those who enjoy a leisurely ride, your dog can hop into our doggy bike trailer as we embark on 2-7 mile adventures. And when the weather warms up, we've got a swimming pool for our canine guests to cool off in. Inside the house, your dog will have the run of the place (provided they're house trained), and they can choose from an array of toys to play with. To keep them well-hydrated, we have water stations throughout the house stocked with purified water, regularly cleaned and refilled. Rest assured, your furry friend will be in great hands, and we'll make sure they have a tail-wagging good time during their stay! Parks & Trails: 1. Smallwood State Park 2. Friendship Farm Park 3. Pisgah Park 4. Purse State Park 5. Doncaster Demonstration Forest 6. Douglas Point 7. Mallows Bay Park 8. Chapman State Park 9. Chapel Point State Park 10. Indian Head Trail 11. Myrtle Grove WMA 12. Thomas Stone Historic Site My better half and I are both 'work-from-homers,' so you can bet your dog's last chew toy that there'll always be a pair of eyes on them. We won't even let them sneak off to the bathroom alone! Here in the wilds of Indian Head, Maryland, we've got a sprawling 1-acre playground enclosed by a fence that's taller than Shaq (okay, maybe not that tall, but it's secure). I've gone all James Bond with 21 motion detectors and security cameras, ensuring that every nook and cranny is under surveillance—inside and outside! We're serious about safety, folks! Now, here's the deal: we're all about accommodating friendly dogs. Your pet's safety is our mission, like it's our secret spy mission! 🕵️‍♂️🐾 And for those sneaky escape artists, the ones who think they're auditioning for the next great canine escape movie, we've got a secret weapon – the Fi GPS collar. If your dog has a history of vanishing acts or tends to pull a Houdini, consider it their high-tech tracking device for the duration of their stay. Thanks a million for taking the time to read my profile, and if you've got any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me a message. We're here to make sure your dog's adventure with us is safe, secure, and seriously fun!

About: My name is Mallorie. I'm a mom. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends. I have a Alaskan Malamute. Her name is Carly Rae. I've also adopted five stray cats. They showed up on my door step, and since then I've been taking care of them. Some of my hobbies are, hiking, camping, and swimming. My dog loves hiking with me. I'm excited to get to know your pet and care for them! 🐕 Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. An act as simple as refilling their food bowl at the same time every day is enough to make them feel comfortable in their living space. Proper pet care includes providing a safe and comfortable area. Frequency with letting out to use the bathroom. Making sure that your pet gets regular exercise, such as walks and play time.

I bring a mix of high energy, real experience, and a genuine love for all kinds of pets. I’m great with puppies who need structure, rescues who need patience, and seniors who need comfort and consistency. I read body language well, keep pets active and engaged, and tailor everything to their personality so they feel safe, confident, and cared for, and at the end of the day, pets get someone who’s fully present, tuned in, and committed to making their time feel good and stress free( since they have so much responsibility). 🤗 Use my promo code for your first visit: KAITLM75162 Profile link: https://www.rover.com/sit/kaitlm75162 I structure my days around walks, feeding, playtime, and check ins, so caring for pets naturally fits into my morning and evening rhythm. I’m active and outside often, which makes daily walks and enrichment easy to build in. Weekly, I plan extra time for longer walks, yard play, and any overnight care that’s needed. I follow the owner’s routines closely so pets stay in their familiar rhythm. Walks, feeding, medication, and enrichment are done exactly as instructed. About: Hi! I’m Emily, and I’ve spent the last 8 years caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that your pet isn't just an animal—they’re family. My goal is to maintain your pet’s routine as closely as possible to minimize stress, whether that means strict medication schedules, high-energy exercise, or just lots of belly rubs. I’m a clear communicator and will send you plenty of photo updates so you can see exactly how much fun we’re having! I work a full-time professional job, but I have structured my schedule to ensure your pets get the consistent care and attention they need. Standard Availability (September – May): Monday – Friday: I am available for early morning visits/walks (before 6:00 AM) and evening visits/walks (after 5:45PM). Weekends: Generally fully open! I have wide-open availability starting Friday evening through Sunday night for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. Summer Availability (June – August): Full-Time Openings: During the summer months, my schedule is completely flexible. I am available at all times of the day, seven days a week. This is a great time for mid-day puppy breaks or long afternoon hikes! In Your Home (Siting/Drop-ins): My priority is security and maintaining the familiarity of your pet's own environment. Security: I am extremely respectful of your property. I double-check that doors are locked, alarms are set, and your mail/packages are brought inside. Hygiene: I believe in leaving a house exactly as I found it. I clean up any pet messes immediately and keep food/water bowls sparkling. Quality Time: I don’t just "pop in." I spend the time playing, brushing, or just sitting with your pet so they don't feel lonely while you're away. Communication & Updates: No matter where the care takes place, I am a "frequent updater." You can expect daily photos and a quick summary of how your pet is doing, their energy levels, and—of course—their bathroom habits! I want you to have total peace of mind while you are away.

  • 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
