About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was little, around 11 years old, but have lived with cats since I was 2 years old. I do have a senior cat, and ferret. About: Hi! I’m Charlie and I’d be honored to help you with your pet needs. I have fostered 17 dogs, mostly seniors, from mid-size to xl and a whole range of breeds, temperaments and quirks! I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and have become adept at reading dog body language and helping them feel safe and comfortable with me. I have had my beautiful fur buddy (pictured) for 12 glorious years, together we have gone through puppy socialization classes and dog obedience training, (not to mention a transatlantic flight, 3 house moves & 5 deployments). I have two senior pups that are used to sharing their space with other dogs and two respectful children that love dogs whilst also being great at respecting their boundaries (they have experienced all manner of foster dogs with their varied personalities and needs). I can accommodate crating if necessary but as I am home most of the day it is unlikely they will be crated unless you specifically request it. I don’t have a fenced yard, so if your dog is an escape artist then our space may not be best for them, but for most dogs this just means fun stimulating walks, instead of yard time. We do plan to add a fenced area in the future.
