About: I have watched all dogs from puppy to old senior sweethearts, my heart belongs to all animals. My boy loves friends and always ready for a visitor! I am currently a stay at home mother, I have all the free time in the world. I spend my free time with my children and my fur babies!! I have a huge yard, not fenced in but safe and in a quiet neighborhood. All animals will be taken out on a leash and give PLENTY of time to go potty! I have a wonderful comfy couch that all animals are welcomed to cuddle with my family on!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I currently have a very chill boxer mix who is a total snuggle bug. All dogs deserve the chance to be their best dog self. Im currently off for the summer (I’m a teacher). I have flexibility and also the ability to be present and get to know each pupper. I have a large house with gated porches and a soon to be fenced backyard. I love walks, adventures, and getting to know your pup.

About: Hello, dear fellow pet parents! My name is Olesia, and my family moved to Galesburg in October 2020. I am a stay-at-home mom of a 2 year old and a 6 month old humans, 2 senior miniature poodles (who are very much puppies at heart and very well-behaved), a young sweet and kind labradoodle who we adopted last year, and a kitty named Kitty. My husband and I have been around dogs and cats since childhood. We would love to help you and take care of your pet! We will treat him or her like family. I do have a request that your pet is good with babies. Our babies are fascinated with dogs and cats but they keep a respectful distance. Thank you! I am currently staying at home with my human and fur babies and working on my dissertation. I accept boarding requests on the weekends because my husband can help me then to make sure the stay is as comfortable as possible. I have a fenced yard and friendly fur babies to keep your pet company. I can easily crate my pets if needed, especially the sometimes high energy labradoodle.

Well, I think my approach to caring for my pets at home is pretty comprehensive. Firstly, I make sure to provide them with a clean environment, which means their area and kennel is cleaned as well as, beddings are changed regularly. I also make sure they have access to plenty of fresh water and nutritious food. In terms of exercise and playtime, I schedule a set amount of time each day for interactive play and exercise, in addition to walks outdoors. This keeps them happy, healthy and stimulated both physically and mentally. I also prioritize their medical needs by ensuring they receive regular checkups and vaccinations as needed. This proactive approach helps to prevent health problems down the line. Overall, I believe that providing a safe and nurturing environment, plenty of exercise and playtime, and proactive medical care are all key to caring for pets in a responsible and effective way.

About: My friends and family call me the pet whisperer. Or, "even your pets listen to you" I have a great understanding of animals, and a natural love and care for their well being. I began babysitting and pet sitting at age 11, including horses! Have always been a caretaker type, including being a full time nanny, also taking care of their animals-dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs. Available on weekends and partial Mon and Fridays. Flexible, long term, or short term last minute welcome. Home most of the time on the weekends except for short errands, as our house is centrally located, close to shopping, yet not directly on a busy street. Like a relaxing vacation for your loved one while you are away. Our pets are part of the family and enjoy many benefits of our house. Plenty of playing and lounging room for all! We have a living room, rec room and screened in porch, for warmer weather, all with dog friendly furniture and lots of windows for plenty of comfy napping. lounging, squirrel watching...with a dog entry door to the large fenced in yard and deck through the kitchen. My musically talented teenager will play lots of nice music on his piano and ukulele as well as run around the yard with the dogs, and there is a park within walking distance from our house if more exploration is desired! We have one chocolate lab who is very friendly and social, and loves company!

About: Hello, My name is Lerin, I am a professional dog groomer/handler of 10 years. I have experience with dogs ranging from puppies to Geriatric babies. I am quite experienced with dogs with behavioral issues. If our schedules work out and I can help you help your kiddo I’m more than happy to. I work full time as a dog groomer. So my schedule for drop in’s/walks. Looks like a walk in the AM before work. So anytime guaranteed before 8:30 and anytime guaranteed after 4:30. If the distance to your home is within a reasonable distance from my job I can typically do a walk within my shift as well. Mondays and Tuesday’s I’m off all day and can come at any time. I treat every animals as if they are my own. Which I do see my pet families/clients as an extension of mine. They are apart of my life and I give care that brings them back. For that I can’t be more grateful.

About: I have had my own dogs my whole life. Since being married in 1994 we have had 2-3 dogs at a time. We currently have two sweet dogs. One is a toy Berniedoodle and the other is a lab/bordercollie. I am the one in our family that does the puppy training. I am a retired school teacher. I am home most days unless I have errands to run. I love to take our dogs for walks. I have two friendly dogs. One of our dogs is very playful. The other is shy at first but warms up. They are crate trained at night. We have a dog door so our dogs go in and out all day. We have an extra crate if needed. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture for snuggles.

About: Hi! My name is Stephanie, and my husband, three kids (3, 7, and 10) and I are so excited to love your dog while you’re away! A Roof for Ruffs is the brainchild of our 10yo daughter. We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. We’re having so much fun with fostering that our sweet girl suggested we take on paying clients between our fosters, and donate some of the proceeds to the same local dog rescue organization. ♥️ I’ve owned dogs my whole life. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. We are so very excited to meet your dog, and to treat them like family for their stay. My husband works full time, but I am a freelance writer with flexible hours working from home while caring for our three kids. In other words: your pup won’t be left alone often! 😆 **Please note: all pets must have proof of updated vaccines and be okay with kids (they will be loved on and spoiled by our kiddos while they’re here!) I am home daily with my kids, so lots of potty breaks and playtime is possible throughout the day. We are available most weekdays or weekends unless blocked while we have a foster or for travel. We have a 4-foot aluminum fence in the backyard and live on a public park with a walking trail for easy exercise options. We have extra dog crates here if your pup is crate-trained or feel free to bring your own.

I love taking them on walks and playing, pets and cuddles. I’d be happy to care for your little buddy. I am pretty flexible and happy to do walks and visits or host dogs at my house. I have a great area to walk dogs, a big fenced in yard, a big open house and several dog parks real close by if they like the interaction. I love all kinds of animals.
