“Samantha was amazing and so easy to work with! She responded so quickly to my messages and was always kind! Our Ellie (golden retriever) had the best time playing with Samantha’s golden Blair. We definitely recommend Samantha and look forward to booking with her in the future.”

“Dominik was incredible and super communicative and wonderful with our fur baby who is a tad anxious! She loved spending time with him and his dogs! Definitely will book with him again!”

“Leaving Cooper for a full week over the Fourth of July was a big deal for me, but from the very beginning I knew he was in great hands. Kristen welcomed him into her home like he was part of the family and kept me updated every day with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The best part was seeing how happy and relaxed Cooper was when I picked him up. It was obvious he had been well cared for, loved, and made to feel at home. I never had to worry while I was away, and that is priceless. I would absolutely trust her with Cooper again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of him!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I had a cat who was part of my family for 16 years, which taught me a lot about caring for an older pet with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. I currently continue to care for dogs and cats, including my friends’ pets and my sister’s cat. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and following each pet’s specific routine and instructions. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, and I take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable. I’m responsible, attentive, and respectful of both pets and their homes. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or older, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I would give my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pets. I can fit pet care, walks, playtime, and check-ins into my daily routine while making sure each pet receives consistent and personalized care. My apartment is quite spacious, with three floors, giving pets plenty of room to feel comfortable and move around. My complex also has a designated dog park, which is great for walks, playtime, and exercise. I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment and always follow each pet’s routine and specific needs.
“Absolutely wonderful dog sitter! She spoiled Lucy with so much love, cuddles, walks, and playtime. I really appreciated all the photos and videos she sent, which gave me peace of mind knowing Lucy was happy and well cared for. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does and treats your pet like her own. I highly recommend her and will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I have had my beagle for almost 6 years and one of my favorite things to do is take her to cute parks I find. If you know anything about beagles, you know they are very curious dogs who arent that great at walks - so I am experienced in taking care of slightly difficult dogs and love them regardless!! I am currently a biomedical sciences student at Auburn university. With my current schedule, I am in class until 1:00 on Mon/Wed and from 12:30-4:00 Tues/Thurs. Fridays I am unavailable until 5:00pm. I have a fenced in yard and an open courtyard nearby. My family dog has a lot of energy, so I am used to playing lots of games to get some of that energy out!
About: I have taken care of dogs, large and small, for roommates, friends, family, and neighbors. Care has included pet sitting, boarding, and walking as well as potty breaks for pets with busy parents. I have also cared for a senior pet of my own as well as a pet with additional needs. I previously helped train golden retrievers for hunting competitions and cared for several litters of puppies. I also volunteered for my hometown’s animal shelter. In short, I love animals and have extensive experience caring for them. I am detail-oriented, caring, and committed to providing the best care for your furry friends while also ensuring that they have a great time! I work with all dogs, from those that fit in the palm of your hand to those that are 100 lb+. I also have a high-energy dog and understand how to care for similar breeds. Please message me to inquire how I can provide the best care for your pet. P.S. Please enjoy the photos of the pups I have taken care of over the years! I am a graduate student at Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a very flexible schedule. Most of my time is spent working from home with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. I am available to walk dogs and do drop-ins during the week and on weekends (with the exception of Tuesday and Thursday afternoons) and can house-sit overnight on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. House sitting does require a meet and greet first; message me to arrange a meeting that works with your schedule! At your home, I can ensure your pets stay on their routine while ensuring they get the amount of activity and care that they need. If you are also wanting your pet(s) to get some playtime with other animals, I have two friendly dogs who love to play with other dogs and who can play together, whether at a dog park or elsewhere (please inquire!).
“This was our first time using Rover. Carter was fantastic & made us feel so comfortable leaving our pup. So accommodating and Luna had a blast running & playing. I liked getting the updates on her during her stay, too. I will 100% use Carter again. Great experience!!!”

“Sierra was the best sitter I could have asked for, responsive and sending tons of pictures! She even washed my pup’s crate pad after she had an accident. 11/10 would recommend and book again!!”

“Bruno and Lilia are amazing! I will use them every time I need someone to care for my fur babies. Also, Lilia is a dog trainer, so she is very competent in doggy care. You will not be disappointed. I was three states away and never worried about my dogs' well-being. Truly a blessing!”

“Audrey was absolutely wonderful! She sent us updates and pictures every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog clearly had a great time, he played every day, seemed completely comfortable, and was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. In the past, he has sometimes seemed nervous or skittish after staying with other sitters, but that was not the case at all with Audrey. We could tell he felt safe, well cared for, and genuinely enjoyed his stay. We were extremely satisfied with the care she provided and would gladly recommend Audrey to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter. We will definitely use her again!”

About: As a vet student, I am very knowledgeable about animal health and behavior. I will treat your pet as one of my own while you’re away! I am currently on summer break so I’m home 90% of the time. I will make sure your dog is walked at least 3x a day and receives treats! I have a friendly 3 year old cat who loves making new friends. I have a patio where your baby can get sunlight and I can also send you pictures upon your request.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
