About: I have grown up with cats and during late middle school years I have took care of my grandparents cats by providing food, water, and entertainment while they went on vacation. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter to entertain and walk the dogs, and recently have had experience house sitting a dog and two cats for two weeks with providing water every day, proper scheduled food, keeping the litter cleaned three times a day and as needed, and took the dog on walks every day to keep her active as well as making sure the cats never got bored. I’m a WVU freshman who is currently working towards majoring in Animal and Nutritional Sciences to pursue a dream job as a veterinarian. I am hoping to gain more experience with your beloved furry friends and a little extra cash in-between my semester breaks! Unfortunately, I do not provide care at my personal residence, but as long as you leave your pets with me I’ll treat them as my own, proving them fresh water every morning, keeping up with the scheduled feeding schedules, and making sure they always have clean litter and that your dogs are walked multiple times a day. As well as providing them entertainment while they’re in my possession making sure they never get bored, getting the proper attention and care they deserve.

About: Started caring for pets since I was 10. Mostly dogs and cats along with some awesome rabbits. Neighbors, friends and family relied on me to walk, feed, play, administer medicine, clean liter boxes and give good lovin' to their beloved pets ! Lots of experience staying with pets in their home (sometimes for several weeks at a time) or coming to their home several times days for care. Realized that I was born with a natural rapport with animals. Grateful for this ability and nurtured these skills all my life. I'm currently applying for full-time work, so I'll have plenty of time (flexible hours) to love-up on your dearest dogs with walks, play and treats. Of course, belly rubs are included! Haven't had my own pet in awhile, but lived with housemates who have wonderful animal spirits (dogs, cats and bunnies) to brighten their lives and mine. When I've lived with pets, always check they have plenty of clean water and food and, depending on how they are housed, make sure they are safe in their crates or curled up in their favorite spots before I leave. Always make sure that I know where list of emergency contacts and vet info is located.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. I was raised around dogs and cats from the time I was born. I was a dog sitter for a few years, but I currently don't have the space for it in my home. I have experience in dog grooming, and I cut my own dogs hair. Currently, I am interested in mostly dog walking and occasional grooming services. I'm a bit out of practice with cutting dogs with different hair texture from my poodles curly coat, so I will take grooming clients on a case by case basis right now. Bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, gland expression, and things like that are always available. I am currently working from home, so I have a lot of extra time to fill. I'm looking to get back into my dog walking hobby. I should be available most days of the week. I'm sensitive to each individual pet's needs. I always treat my pup like my baby, and will do the same with yours. My dog is very friendly, and gets along with all animals, so if you'd like some socializing or playtime, we can introduce them.

About: I have raised dogs all my life. A few years back I used to rescue and board temporarily until the dogs were nursed back to health. Once the dogs were adoptable we would set up meet and greets to adopt out. I am experienced with many breeds. I used to have a terrier who was diagnosed with diabetes. We had to do injections twice a day and put her on a feeding schedule. I have experience with several breeds starting small to huge! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a wide open schedule at the moment and I'm just looking for busy work until school starts. My dogs are let out routinely. They are fed on a strict schedule twice a day. They are brushed and played with to help exercise them especially the bigger breeds due to their hips.

About: I have always had a big heart for pets. This includes cats and dogs. I enjoy being around them, feeding them, and cleaning after them. I work full time for a nonprofit, but have flexibility. I’m mostly available on Fridays-Mondays. I currently care for doggies and cats in my own home. My doggy is on a feeding schedule and get regular walks. He enjoys playing tug-a-war with me and enjoys having me the one to fetch his toys. I easily get along with animals and enjoy playing and exercising them.

About: I've had pets since I was born. I've fostered cats, kittens, and elderly dogs for shelters, and have experience pet sitting for dogs of a variety of sizes. Sometimes those sits were for 4 weeks at a time. I also have experience giving dogs medication and am familar with the different medications having been in a shelter environment and having a mom who worked in a vets office. I've had my own deaf dog for 11 years now and am very familiar with the care involved with a dog with special needs. I've also adopted senior dogs and know what kind of care they require. I know how to take care of dogs with high anxiety issues and those with a lot of phobias too. I've yet to meet an animal I didn't like!

MY DETAILED RESPONSE TO THE REVIEWED LEFT BY DEBBY- I wanted to give a detailed breakdown of what happened with Debby since rover will not take down the review even though they did a thorough investigation with photos/video and nasty messages sent by Debby to me. I took on this booking even though I had a gut feeling not to, but I ignored it and I wish I had not done that. I was asked last minute by Debby to care for her diabetic cat, she told me her cat was great with strangers and would have no issue with taking the insulin shots from me (lie number one). The morning of my first visit, Debby had messaged me informing she had birds in the house and to not pay attention to them.. now let me start off by saying that due to a past traumatic experience with a previous clients birds, I have developed a fear of being near them in close spaces (to which she pokes fun at in her review) and had I known she had them, I would not have accepted this booking. I was hesitant to enter her house but she said they were in a cage so I proceeded with the visit, upon opening her door one of the birds almost FLEW OUTSIDE because they were NOT in a cage(lie number two). I was immediately concerned by this not only due to my fear of birds but due to this being a safety risk considering the birds could’ve flew out the door if I didn’t get to it in time. After this happened, I wanted to turn around and leave but I couldn’t because I needed to give her cat an insulin shots. After I went upstairs, I could not find the cat anywhere and after ten minutes I found her hiding under the bed hissing at me, she was in no way friendly towards strangers. I did my best to get her to come with me, I was at the visit way longer than the scheduled 30 minutes to try to make sure her cat got the shot. After I was finally able to lure her out with a treat, I had to quickly grab her and administer the shot.. she clawed at me and bit me several times (photo proof was sent to rover). I was very taken back by this visit due to unexpected birds and a cat who was the complete opposite of what their owner described. I felt unsafe to continue the booking and feared that due to the cat’s unwillingness to come to me that she might not get her shots injected properly so her health was my number one priority, I immediately called rover support to report everything that had happened and I also informed Debby at the same time. Debby was awful to me, made fun of me and treated me with complete disregard and through all of that, I still remained calm, collective and professional. After she had hinted at threatening me, I cut off all contact with her and immediately reported that to rover as well. At that point it was now rover and Debby’s responsibility for the cats care, I felt even more unsafe after the awful things Debby said to me. I didn’t have to but I even worked with rover to find another sitter and wanted them to make sure they made others aware of the trust situation, I even offered to take the cat it’s vet or local cat sitting agency but that was denied and rover told me they would handle it all. After one week, I found that my rover account had been suspended and I had to call rover and speak with over ten different reps in one week to get my account back.. finally after they realized I had done NO wrong and it was all the pet owner, I got my account back and a lengthy apology from Rover. Upon getting my account back, I noticed Debby had left that review and I was devastated by that. I have worked so hard on this app to give the best care for others animals and that’s been proven by every other review just for hers to completely destroy all the good I’ve been doing by lying. I’m truly upset with Rover for not only allowing that review to be left there, but for allowing Debby to even still have an account after her lies, threats and defamation. I hope that no other rover sitters go through what I did with her. With all of that being said, I refuse to delete my account and start over as I want people to see all the good I’ve done and to be aware of what truly happened with Debby. I hope to continue to provide the best care possible for all my current rover clients and future ones, please do not let one woman’s lies deter you away from someone who truly loved and care for animals with her whole heart. About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I would most definitely take care of your dog or cat as if it were my own. Ive taken care of dogs with disabilities for example my mom’s shih tzu has a bad back and cant walk well. And ive taken care of large breeds such as great danes and golden doodles. I love animals i think they are so much fun to be around and their spirit just leaves you so happy. I have 3 dogs and 2 reptiles in the home. But on top of being good with animals i also am excellent with people i have been a manager trainer. And spokesperson for many of my jobs. I look forward to getting time to spend with your furry friend in the hopefully near future. I work a full time job as a caregiver for seniors but it's a standard 9-5 job so I am only gone 8 hours at a time. And home when I am off I don't go out much. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs and 2 reptiles. Everyone is friendly and all our own dogs are crated if not home.

I’ve owned many breeds of both cats and dogs and have cared for all of my pets through their whole life span I am working part time, so I have plenty of time for visits and walks during any time of day. About: I've taken care of dogs since i've been 10. I grew up on a farm all my life. I've been relied on a lot to take care of different types of animals.. but dogs and cats are my favorite!! I enjoy dogs and cats very much and with me being a influencer i think i can make your animal famous for a day;) My scheduling is always very open, but if sometimes something comes up then I just have to plan accordingly to the situation, other than that i'm pretty good! About: I am a 63 year old cancer survivor who is now disabled! I would love to babysit your pets for you in your home! Anytime! I have 2 dogs & 5 cats I now pet sit for. I am a true animal lover. I have 3 cats at home whom I love very much! This would be the perfect job for me. Although, I don't think of petsitting as a job. I would love to play with or walk your dogs for you. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover for 25 years. I have had several (4) dogs in my life. The first was a german shepherd hybrid with wolf. She was beautiful! My husband had a little terrier mix who stayed in the house. We also had a black lab & a mutt named July. If I could have a dog now, I would; but I don't have a fenced-in yard. I really don't want to leave a dog on a chain all the time. My experience administering medication I can administer oral meds. I’m currently not working so im available week days & weekends. I’m very flexible & don’t need a lot of time before job. I really love animals! I can’t board animals. I don’t have the space. In other peoples homes I can play with their pets & enjoy taking them for a walk.
