3. Michele P.
“I have known Michele for 20 years. She is extremely organized in everything she does. Along with being super kind to all furry friends, Michele is prompt and reliable always. She has taken care or my dogs and my cats on many occasions over the years. And I do not let just anyone take on that task. So with that being said Michele is a great candidate to be part of your Rover team!”

5. Dayanara J.
“Our pets are our children. We would not trust them with just anyone. Dayanara has cared for my child many times over. I was thrilled with the attention, love and care that he received from her while we were away. She was quick to sooth any concerns and certainly took my many calls-in to check on my little guy. I highly recommend her from one pet lover to another.”

6. Gabrielle D.
“Gabrielle is a responsible compassionate adult who prefers the company of animals to most humans. She has taken care of dogs and horses since she was a child. Her ability to relate to the four footed world is wonderful. Anyone who hires her will be more then satisfied with the care she will give their four footed family member.”

7. Brenda C.

“Brenda was amazing!!! She came when others didn’t respond. My 5 month old crazy puppy loved her and she handled him so well. She came at a minutes notice and was always on time and so friendly! I’ll be coming back when I’m back in the Hamptons!”

8. Rachel K.
About: I have had pets in my life since the 1st grade. I worked as a veterinary assistant for 2+yrs. I have been an equestrian for 31yrs, I currently own 1 horse and lease another. My Belgian Tervuren is 9yrs old. I also have 3 cats and 20 chickens. I am well rounded in pet care as I have been providing such service since I was a teenager. I know what it is like to leave your pets in the care of another and I promise to take care of yours like I take care of my own! I do have a full time job, but that does not mean that I cannot provide care. Each booking will be tailored to your pets needs and my availability. Currently I am not offering any pet care in my own home, but I am happy to schedule anything outside of my home that works best for myself and the client.

9. ELICIA N.
About: I have lived my entire life with pets. I have raised puppies, attended obedience training, and have cared for them at end of life. I've had Shih Tzus, Labs, Goldens, Boxers, and currently have an older Beagle/Bulldog who was a rescue. My family has always had a dog of some kind. I am retired from office work and aside from a couple hours in the mornings of self care, I am generally free of daily encumbrances I have been a pet sitter previously when I lived in NY. Both the Stay in the clients home type and just coming to feed and walk type

10. Deb M.

“Deb is awesome. She walked my Shih Tzu each day for 30 minutes each day after I recently moved and started a new job. It was a confusing time for my dog and my family and Deb has been reliable and a great help during this transition. She keeps Bingo happy, calm and comfortable during her dog walking visits. I highly recommend Deb!”

11. Jamie S.
About: I have had dogs, cats, birds and reptiles my entire life. I can handle all energy levels and know how to channel them accordingly to most breeds. I currently have a dog, Tiller! He is a 5-6 year old Black Mouth Cur rescue from Southold Animal Shelter and I treat him as my son! I have raised a few puppies to adulthood before him including my late Gimli, and have spent many many days with dog friends over the course of my life. Your fur baby will be treated like family and I believe that all creatures are allowed on the furniture! Life is just better with animals! I currently work remotely so I am able to 100% give your pet my attention! I walk my own dog twice a day and take him out for a sun time session weather permitting as well! I have a partially fenced in yard but I do have a short deck where Tiller my dog loves to sunbathe on his bed! I have an extra for a friend and am extremely careful with taking my dogs on walks! I have a very long driveway away from the road so it’s very private and serene where I live, the perfect getaway for your fur baby while you have to work or vacation! I can also (with permission granted) take your dog to the dog park if they are friendly with other dogs! If you are boarding with me, your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they would like as I believe animals are always welcome to feel right at home!

12. Lauren D.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with a beloved family dog who was with us for 13 years! I currently care for my 3 year old cat who requires daily medication—so I’m very comfortable administering meds and giving pets the extra care they need. For two years, I also fostered both dogs and cats, many of whom needed medical attention or were bottle fed as newborns. This gave me valuable handson experience with animals of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. Whether your pet just needs a walk, a cuddle, or some special care, you can trust that I’ll treat them like one of my own! Pet care is part of my daily routine. I care for my cat who needs medication and have experience from fostering pets. Since I work in a school, I have summers off—so I’m especially available and flexible during that time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved. I live in a townhome within a dog-friendly community, so there’s plenty of opportunity for safe walks and socialization if your pet enjoys that. I also keep pet parents updated with regular check-ins and photos.

13. Amanda Z.

“Amanda was great with Cooper and super sweet! He loved his walk and proudly showed her how much he loves sticks! She was great with communication and did a meet and greet the day before. Would definitely have her care for Cooper again! Thank you!”

14. Clara A.
“In addition to being a lovely person, Clara is a phenomenal dogsitter. She's had almost 15 years of experience taking care of dogs, and I would have her take care of my dog with no hesitation. She is a very responsible individual.”

15. Risa S.

“Risa is very reliable and wonderful with my dog. She follows all my directions for my dog. She takes initiative with working on commands, playing with her and walking her. My dog looks forward to seeing her. Highly recommend!”

16. James D.
“James does well with my two big dogs, one a lab pitbull mix, the other a husky pitbull mix. They feel extra comfortable with him around.”

17. Jess B.

“Absolutely outstanding experience! Jess showed up with a huge smile on her face and listened closely to all the info on my behavior-challenged Dane. The size didn't intimidate her, and he loved her immediately. She was flexible with our schedule, easy to talk to, and understanding when plans needed to change. I would highly recommend her to anyone. We look forward to working with her again soon!”

18. Riley H.
About: I have had 3 dogs in my life and have experience training them when they are puppies, as well as taking care of dogs with medical issues where I have to administer insulin and give the dog pills. I currently have a 7 month old puppy at home, so I am taking care of her full time. I do not have another job so my schedule is pretty open right now to help take care of some other dogs/puppies! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I like to take my dog on leash walks in our private neighborhood. I as well have a spacious house with plenty of toys where another puppy/dog can play with my friendly dog. I as well have a crate that can be used at any point if needed.

19. Jules L.

About: Hi! I’m Jules, and I’ve had pets my whole life and would love to help out fellow pet lovers! I’m currently located in Laurel, NY. Will be available weekdays and as needed. On the days I sit, your pets will be my number one priority. I look forward to meeting everyone and their sweet pets! I have an indoor cat who never goes outside, we make sure he stays far away from any open doors! Also have an indoor rabbit!

20. Thomas D.
About: I previously worked as a dog walker/sitter for 2 years while also taking courses on dog behavior and training. I've worked in pet stores where I was educated on dietary needs of pets and how to administer medication. I'm working part time, so I have some days where I can do multiple visits in a day. My availability can range from early in the morning to late in the evening. My family and myself have always had dogs around. We've also had cats too. Currently I have a lovely pitbull terrier named Kingston that is and absolute sweetheart to care for. I've taken care of a variety of breeds ranging from toy size to over 100lbs. I've also had to administer shots to dogs from time to time. I like to take dogs for long walks and then sit and get them comfortable afterwards.
