“Another stellar performance!! Thank you Julia for coming to make sure the babies were ok. I know they loved seeing you again and we look forward to having you check on them again!”

About: I have never not had a pet. I’ve always been passionate about animals and spent most of high school focusing on animal & agricultural science. I currently have four cats and two dogs of my own and have gained experience working at doggy daycares and boarding places. I work at a dog daycare part time usually three or four days a week, so on the other days I will entertain and care for your furry friend. I can quickly befriend most pets- I give them lots of love. I am already used to taking dogs outside leashed or unleashed and cleaning up after them- I spend a good bit of my time cleaning litter boxes already, what are a few more? I have experience feeding and medicating both cats and dogs, and I love spending time with any animal so it’ll be easy to keep my full attention on your special animal companion!
“Lindsay went above and beyond with our shy cat while we were out of town for the holidays. He warmed up to her right away and was as spoiled as if we were home ourselves! Would definitely trust her any time with our boy!”

About: Responsible pet sitter with over 20 years experience. My husband 3 children and I run a small homestead. We have our family dog Penny and we raise holland lop bunnies. I have experience with small and large livestock. And have Volunteered time fostering dogs for PAWS in state college. I have experience with and assisting the delivery of animals, administering medications, following specific feeding schedules, and providing companionship and exercise. I’m a stay at home mom with 3 children. We do go to church on Sunday's. We would be gone Sunday's for about 3 hours in total. Unless it’s soccer season we are home! We have a fenced in front yard and our back yard leads into the woods. We spend a majority of our summer days outside. We live in a 2 story home, pets will be on the main floor in our home. Our stairs have gates for the bottom and top. Our animals are welcome on the couch but if this is a no no for you we will respect that. Our dog Penny is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night.

About: I’ve had all ages of dogs in my home. From newborn puppies to elderly. Lots of experience with small to medium size dogs. Experience with cats too. I will dote on your fur baby as much as I do my very own. For the time being my flexible schedule allows me the ability to be readily available to care for your pet. Weekend availability is high. Available for sporadic drop ins during the week. Keeping your four legged friend as comfortable as possible in their home environment is my top priority. While your away your pet’s routine need not be interrupted.
About: I have taken care of a variety of pets since I was 14 years old. I grew up around dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, turtles, birds of many kinds and my family bred labradors. My husband and I have had our own pets for the last 17 years. Our pets are our family and taken very well care of. Everyone who knows us, knows that we spoil every animal we see. I currently make my own work schedule and it is very flexible therefore I am available for almost all of your pet care needs! :) I am able to babysit your pet in our home if the meet & greet with our pets goes well. Otherwise I am available to care for your pets in your home. This would include, walks, playtime, medication administration if needed, meals, bathing if needed and of course lots of snuggles!
“Very kind and caring sitter. Was able to check up on our pups at requested times. Sent us plenty of photos and checked in with us regularly. She was willing to take the time for our one pup to get to know her.(he is defensive towards new people and has to warm up to people). And she was able to book our requested days literally last moment when our boarding situation fell through. Will gladly say we will be scheduling more with her in the future.!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 34 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Curwensville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
