About: With 15 years of hands-on pet care experience, I bring positivity and skill to every pet I look after. My goal is to create a calm, joyful experience for your pets, tailored to their unique personalities and needs I have a flexible schedule and am available during weekdays as weekends. About: I have taken care of my own and other's cats and dogs for years, from feeding, to exercising and of course plenty of clean up occasions. Not only have I managed a family home with both cats and dogs, but I also showed one of my dogs for AKC confirmation and graduated with another one of my dogs from obedience classes. I bottle fed two of my cats when they were infants and have cared for both cats and dogs into their senior, twilight years. I even cared for one of my senior dogs after she became deaf and blind. Just recently I helped usher my beloved 15-year-old cat across the rainbow. She was the last of my own pets. I have experience with dispensing oral medications and insulin shots to cats and dogs from very young pets as well as aging ones. In my professional life I was very organized, detailed oriented and practiced great communication skills. I will bring all this experience to the care and feeding of your beloved animals. I've experienced so much with my own and other folks’ pets, but now my two dogs and two-cat-household is feeling a little empty. So please let me offer my heart and hands to care for your dear fur babies. I am recently retired and have some on-going activities and appointments, but I also have quite a bit of freedom to determine my own schedule and be flexible. I have time and availability for daily visits, dog walking, or even in your household for overnight care. In your home I can offer feeding visits, occasional visits, dog walking, and if required, overnight at your home. Let's me know what you need to care best for your pet.

About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters and fish for over 15 years. I graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Animal Ecology. I did an internship there in a genetics lab where I helped care for and administer medications to dogs and cats. I’ve also worked at various veterinary clinics as both a vet technician and a receptionist. I also volunteered at several animal shelters. For house sitting, I’ll spend several hours in the morning and again in the evening with your pet. Timing is flexible based on your pet’s routine, and I’m always happy to discuss what works best. Please not I am unable to stay overnight. For cats, visit lengths depend on their comfort level. If they’re shy or easily stressed, I may keep visits shorter to help them feel safe. Every pet is different, and I do my best to adjust to their individual needs. I follow directions given to me because I know pet parents know what’s best for their fur babies! In your home I can water plants, clean litter boxes, and other small house hold chores.

About: We always had dogs growing up. I’ve had my own dog for 4 years. I love being around dogs and want to show yours as much love as I show my own. I work from home 2-3 days a week. I’m also available for overnight boarding depending on the night and weekends. Just ask if I’m available! I have a fenced in backyard. Your dog is welcome on beds and furniture. My house and property is very dog friendly for all types.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 6. During college I got a dog of my own. Since I am in graduate school, he is staying with my boyfriend in Ames. After I was done with undergrad, I babysat many of my old teammates dogs and had great feedback. I have all the necessary skills and tools to care for any dog. I could also schedule a play date with my own dog if wanted! I am also a volunteer at furry friends as a dog walker in my free time. Since I am in graduate school, my schedule is not set in stone. I prefer dog walking since I’m available at odd times but could house sit if the schedule allows. I could be available the entire day (like Thursdays) or not until 5 pm. If you message I could be able to tell you for certain. Prefer a fenced in yard if you have multiple dogs but I have no problem walking them. I have no other preferences at this time.

I work in education and have a lot of flexibility during the summer months. Weekends spent at home give me a lot of time to care for your dogs.
