My husband and I both travel for work. Sometimes it's difficult to plan ahead for a dog sitter. Shame was AMAZING with working with our schedules and crazy hours. She even allowed us to extend our dogs' stay in story notice with no hesitation. The dogs were well taken care of and she kept in touch with us the entire time to let us know how they were doing. We will ONLY try to book with Shume from now on!

Cody was awesome! We did a meetup before boarding where we were able to have our dogs meet and chat. Cody was great about sending pictures and updating us on how our pet was doing. Upon pickup, we could really tell how much our dog enjoyed staying with Cody. I highly recommend him and will definitely book him again.

I came into town later than intended and could not drop my dog at the doggie hotel. I contacted Holly and she was very accommodating. I truly appreciate the care and love she provided to Skye. She made a stressful situation less stressful.

I clean houses part time but still have plenty of time to care for your pets. I can board, walk, and do drop ins and doggy day care weekdays and weekends. My schedule is flexible. My fur babies absolutely love Ronda!! She makes sure to learn everything she can about them before their stay to make them as comfortable as possible. I left my pups with her for a week and she really treated them like family! She sent me pictures and updates everyday and I didn’t worry about them once which made my trip so much more relaxing! Thank you so much for all your help! We will definitely be using her in the future and recommending her to anyone who needs a dog sitter!

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience. I grew up with a family-owned 12-run dog kennel, so caring for multiple dogs and understanding their different personalities has always been part of my life. Today, I care for every dog as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, exercise, and a safe environment. My property is equipped with 24/7 security camera surveillance for added safety and peace of mind, and I provide regular photo and video updates so you’ll always know how your pup is doing. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I work during the day on weekdays, but every dog receives fresh water, morning and evening feedings, exercise, and plenty of attention before and after work. I’m home on weekends, allowing for extra playtime, interaction, and one-on-one care. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can stay connected with your pup throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My property is fully fenced and monitored with 24/7 security camera surveillance. Dogs have access to a clean, secure environment, and I carefully follow each owner’s feeding schedule, medication instructions, and care preferences. I take the time to make every dog feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for as if they were part of my own family.

About: Hi 👋 I’m Victoria! I graduated with a degree in Biochemistry with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine from Mississippi State University in 2019. Then was admitted to Ross University for their veterinary medicine program. I love animals but decided I’d rather own the vet clinic than be the veterinarian so I worked as a vet tech while getting my MBA. I finished my masters in December of 2022 and have plans to start my own animal hospital. I have volunteered with several animal shelters and wildlife rehab centers since 2016. I worked at Animal Tracks Veterinary Hospital from June 2018 until August 2019. I have been trained in dog CPR at Mississippi State University’s school of veterinary medicine. I can do grooming (dogs and cats), with nail trim and ear cleaning for an extra $20 fee. I am able to medicate (oral, injections, creams, etc...). I have closely worked with with diabetic cats, cats with strokes (wobbly cat syndrome), post surgery care, and canine seizures. I can go on long runs, take them to the dog park, or just spend some time cuddling your furry family member. I will send daily pictures or videos of your pet while you’re away as well! I have experience working with domestic animals (large, small, and farm) as well as bobcats, bunnies, squirrels, birds, skunks, opossums, and coyotes. I am currently working on obtaining my wildlife rehabilitator certification. I’d love the chance to come meet your baby! I am currently working full-time for a tech company and am remote. If your fur babies need out in the middle of the day I can accommodate this as ling as I can use the WIFI. I have a cat, and 2 Australian Cattle Dogs who are very friendly. They are welcome to stay with me if they are potty trained and get along well with others.

About: In my family I’ve always been the one to watch everyone’s pets. Dogs or cats I love every single one of them! I believe that your beloved pets deserve the absolute best care and I would be honored to be considered to care for them! I currently work part time as a retail assistant and I have a lot of extra time on my hands and a very flexible schedule so I’m free 5/7 days a week! I have a nice big open yard for your babies to run around in and some toys for cats and dogs so they will have plenty of enrichment time :)

About: I have had dogs all my life and experienced with young and senior dogs as well and medication management if needed and spoil them rotten in my care 😬 They will get much love and attention as I am a stay home pet mom myself. I am a stay home wife who does not work and love animals so why not give a family a piece of mind that their pet is being loved on and spoiled while they are enjoying vacation or what ever the circumstances may be. My dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the bed and I am not a big fan of crates but will use if owner requests I live in a ranch home so no steps . It is just me and my husband along with my min pin who loves other dogs and a hermit cat who really stays to herself Our home is very clean and maintained . My dog is spoiled more than I wish to admit but wouldn't have it any other way . Plenty of dog treats and toys at my home Your pet can do as they do in my home as they do in there own home ❤️

As of September 2026, there are 100 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Cullman. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Every sitter has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Sitters may also include daily walks in the neighborhood during your dog's boarding stay. You can also request photo and message updates throughout so you can see which local landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Cullman home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Cullman.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Cullman sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
