I love being around people, kids, and pets doing activities, conversing, or just quietly keeping them company, if preferred. My experience includes property management, substituting in public schools, volunteer at animal shelters and rescues, helped with community cats, and also watch my own critters along with friends and family. I do have a part-time property management career during the day but can schedule you early mornings and late afternoon evenings, as well as weekends, and holidays. About: I have been taking care of dogs for almost 10 years now. During that time I have gained experience with older dogs, diabetic dogs, puppies and everything in between. I currently own a rescue dog who I have been doing high level obedience with. We participate in dogs sport like rally obedience, fetch, fastCAT, barn hunt, lure coursing and most recently scent work. When I come to take care of your dog I will treat them as if they were my own with lots of love. I want to make you feel comfortable about leaving your dog knowing someone responsible is going to take care of them. I have a high energy dog. His care involves daily walks, and lots of training including scent work, learning new tricks or building up muscle and rear end awareness. My favorite activity is walking and training dogs. I will care for your dog with love and kindness. If you give my specifics of how you like your dog handled I am more than happy to follow that. I understand each dog is different and unique which means that I adjust accordingly.

Even at two years old and with training, they are still very hesitant around new people. Samuel has been incredibly patient, taking the time to meet with them multiple times and working at their pace to help them feel safe and comfortable, especially knowing he’ll be pet sitting for a full week. He has been gracious, calm, and understanding in every interaction, and his positive outlook toward the dogs—even with their standoffish nature—has meant so much to me. It’s clear he truly cares about animals and understands their individual needs. I really appreciated the time she took to let my cat come to her on his own terms and didn’t force anything. About: I have been exposed to caring for rescue animals of all kinds (dogs, cats, birds, horses) for most of my life. I am very capable of learning quickly how to take care of your pet with different needs and am able to pay attention to small details for taking care of your pet. I have pet sat for many family and friends, sometimes taking care of up to 6 pets. I have experience in administering oral medication for dogs and cats and disinfecting and bandaging injuries or cuts on dogs, big and small. I am not working at the moment, so I am able to take care of your pets most days of the week and most hours of the day. I am flexible, and I am usually able to go for a job on a shorter notice. I currently have 2 cats and 5 dogs, all different ages and temperaments. They are all pretty lazy for the most part, but they do love to spend time in our backyard, sniffing, rolling around, or just sunbathing. They have a loose schedule they like to follow, so for your pet I would love to do the same!
