About: I am an animal lover with a bias towards dogs! I would love to walk or care for your fur-baby. I understand the sacred bond that an owner has with their animals, so you can trust and believe that your dog will be treated with the utmost love, respect and professionalism. Rain or shine, I can be available to get your dog exercised and back to your home safe and sound. I would love to meet your pet and to make your life a little easier. See you soon!

“Shailyn was amazing! She exceeded expectations in every way. From the get go she made it a priority to get to know me and my cat Pepper, ensuring that I felt safe leaving Pepper in her care. She was very accommodating and understanding. I would definitely recommend her to others.”

About: I have always grown up with at least one doggie at home and I have recently adopted an orange rescue cat who is now one year old! If any of my family is out of town, I am trusted to take care of their pets. This includes taking them on walks, accommodating to specialized diets, and spending quality time with them! I currently am enrolled in classes for the evening and will work part time. My schedule is very flexible as I am not scheduled daily! I insure each pet will receive care tailored to their unique needs. I am careful to double check all doors are closed and gates are locked. If any special rules are required to keep your pets comfortable, I will be sure to see them through.
“Artur is great. He loves cats as much as dogs. He is very conscientious. My cat loves to play with him. Artur sweeps up the litter up and recycles my cans. He saw my desk that I bought still in the box and he put it together for me. He is a Ukrainian immigrant but his English is good. I highly recommend him.”

“Emma is a great sitter for my very energetic dogs and also communicated wonderfully. My one dog was very stubborn about getting back into the kennel, but Emma was patient and even reached out to see if there were any tips. She did so well, I'm booking her for weekly visits.”

About: I have had every size dog imagined, from a Great Dane to a Yorkie and from cats to rabbits. I am more than comfortable handling any animal. I am currently working part time while going to school online. I have lots of time during the day to check in on dogs or go for walks. I have experience working in a dog rescue so I can ensure your fur baby is taken care of safely and with love in any environment.

“Karen is absolutely amazing! She is dependable, reliable, and went above and beyond what was expected of her! She took care of my babies for 10 days, sent tons of pictures to me and gave personalized feedback after each visit!”

About: I've taken care of cat's and dogs all of my life. I have 2 cats that are litter trained. I also know how to teach dogs basic training! I'm currently available everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays as I have college those days but I'm looking to get extra cash and I love animals I only have 2 cats that I don't allow outside but I let them wonder anywhere in the house. I also have toys for them to play with
“We were hesitant about the whole Rover service, but our first experience went so well, we will definitely use again when needed. Isabel is a delight! We had a great meet and greet and felt so confident when leaving for the week that our twins were in good hands. A huge relief. Then the visit reports began - so thorough! Lots of photos too! We are pretty sure our return home was a bit anticlimactic for the kitties - Isabel was so entertaining! Thank you!”

“Taylor is absolutely amazing and we will be using her again!! We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience! She took excellent care of Luna and Red while we were away. She made sure they were fed, had fresh water, got plenty of potty breaks outside, and most importantly, gave them lots of love and snuggles. She sent us photos and updates, which really helped us relax knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for. She exceeded every expectation. I accidentally mixed up and changed the schedule several times, and she was incredibly patient, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire process. Luna and Red were clearly comfortable with her, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them. We will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter! Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and helped at the local vet clinic growing up. My last dog passed away from heart failure in 2022. It’s a busy time for my sons activities so it’s not a good time to bring a full time dog into our home at this time but would love to help others out. I work full time outside the home M-TH from 8-3 and half day Fridays (occasional Fridays totally free). I am willing to be flexible with week day stays if they can manage being alone during those hours. Our yard is unfenced but I would walk or chain them out depending on owner preference. They would be treated like they were my own.
“Always reliable and helpful with last minute needs. My two dogs love her visits. She takes great pictures. Always takes good care of my house. I would definitely recommend, I’m thankful for all her help”

“Great experience and we truly appreciated Yolena taking care of our 3 cats on such short notice! She gave great updates with photos, which put our mind at ease while we were away. She was extremely kind and followed instructions on the care we needed for each cat, and was very responsive if we had any concerns. Came home to happy cats and the house just as we had left it! Would absolutely recommend this sitter!”

“Sara has been great with my corgi, Cersei! She is always on time and has been incredibly flexible with my schedule. She is also very considerate with Cersei and accommodating to her needs for the past few months and Cersei loves her. She will continue to be my go-to whenever I need someone to help with Cersei.”

“Jayson did absolutely amazing with my 3 pups this week and they get excited to see him for their drop in visits! I’m glad they didn’t scare him away so he can keep doing drop in visits with them 🐶🐶🐶”

About: Experience with dogs of different sizes as well as with cats. I used to have 5 dogs at once. All with different needs. Very flexible and will acclimate to whatever your pet needs! Very flexible with whatever you and your pet need. I WFH throughout the week and can work from wherever. Or I can just go check on your pet after work or for a walk. On a recent health journey and would love extra motivation to be more active outdoors! I’m very conscious about ensuring pets are well leashed and not left alone (especially outside). Will make sure they get their food (and treats, if allowed) as well as all the necessary pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
