It's difficult to leave him as he is pretty spoiled in terms of having his own bed and he also has a particular food he's needed to be on. This time he also had medication he needed to take on a regular basis. He always gets walked when he stays and Gunner also likes staying near Rachel. Layla looked genuinely happy in every photo and was clearly very well cared for. Mary also shared how much she loved spending time with Layla, and it truly sounds like they both had a great time together.
