About: I have grown up having a dog. My dog is now 18 years old (I know!) Friends and family know me as an animal lover. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I’m currently home full time which gives me the opportunity to care for your pets around the clock! I welcome pets into my home or can come to yours! I am open to boarding pets in our home if you would prefer! We have a large fenced in back yard for them to get exercise. I can also come to your home to care for them as well!

“Emily always takes great care of our senior cats. She is very responsive over the Rover app and takes amazing pictures! We greatly appreciated her ability to accommodate us when we needed to extend our vacation by an extra day. Thank you Emily!”

About: I grew up with my trusted and beloved lab Lily and even had a dog walking service when I was a kid. I’m happy to be back with on rover with even more expertise in animal care. I now have two wonderful cats and an energetic beagle. I’m currently working free lance. So my schedule is wide open. I will however still need prior notice for bigger job like house sitting or boarding requests. When I wake up in the morning my first thought is the pets and making sure they are fed and have had potty breaks. I always prioritize pets before myself.

“Margaret is seriously the best! From the second she walked in, Max and Romeo were obsessed with her. Max can be a little anxious at times, but she knew exactly how to approach him, calm and gently. She handled both of them with so much love and confidence. She kept me updated and made everything so easy and stress-free. Dogs love her, and it’s easy to see why. I’m definitely booking her again!”

“I was devastated at the thought of leaving my dog while going on a trip to Europe (I rarely travel for this reason). I found Corinne on Rover and she immediately put me at ease that my dog would be well taken care of while I was away. Corinne was outstanding at communicating with me before, during, and after my trip and I could not have been happier with how she sent me pictures and updates every day! Corinne exceeded all expectations in the care she took of my doodle with thoughtfulness, proactive actions when she noticed he could get into trouble when getting into areas he should not be in, playing with him, giving him treats, and asking great questions if she had any concerns! She is smart, organized, thorough, and proactive with everything she does. I didn't think it was possible to not worry while I was away, but Corinne managed to put me at ease which was not easy to do. I am very overprotective of my pup and I owe so much to Corinne for dealing with all my notes, directions, and separation anxiety, hahaha. I highly, highly recommend Corinne, she was outstanding and will use her again a million percent when ever needed. I may even think about travelling more because of her! Thank you again Corinne, we really appreciate you!”

“Shannon is an amazing cat sitter, highly recommend. She asked very thorough and thoughtful questions about our two cats' care needs ahead of our leave, has been very communicative, accommodating and punctual during visits. Shannon is also a great kitty photographer to boot. Will definitely be contacting to re-book for future needs!”

About: Post-grad life has been difficult, but not as difficult for my 3-year old girl, Miss Blue! As a dog owner myself, I understand how difficult it is to find someone who truly cares for your pup, as their own. That's exactly what I provide. I work from home with a flexible 9-5 schedule, which allows me to tend to your pet's needs. My experience includes house-sitting for professors' pets, helping elderly neighbors with dog walks, and volunteering at the SPCA. More importantly, I have my own vehicle to facilitate pick-ups and drop-offs. I own a home with a fenced backyard, located right by the Hudson River. I have easy and quick access to the outdoors, to ensure your dog gets the proper amount of exercise.

“Kristine is absolutely amazing with dogs! My dog is usually very shy and hesitant around people, but he warmed up to Kristine almost immediately — which is a rare and wonderful thing to see. She has a calm, attentive presence and truly understands how to make dogs feel safe and comfortable. Whenever we go away, we feel completely at ease knowing our dog is in Kristine’s care. She goes above and beyond while dog sitting — from making sure he sticks to his routine, to giving him lots of love and attention. We feel so lucky to have found someone we can trust so completely with our furry family member.”
