Small area close to house fenced for easy access on main level for easy outs. No stairs to climb. Easy access to I-81 I-66, Rt. 522 & 340, Rt. 50. Country living close to Winchester. Country living in a secure fenced 1 acre area. Approximately,12 miles northwest of Winchester. My mornings are consumed with activities surrounding my pets. We walk, run, train. They get special snuggle time, grooming and socialization with family, friends and canine friends. They love to help me garden, explore their land, chase butterflies and fireflies. Experienced with critical care and non-ambulatory pets having spent years rescuing and rehabilitating special needs pets and training as a vet. tech at a local Animal Hospital. Small dogs only - 25 lbs and under.. I am retired and involved in Performance Sports with my dogs. My time is spent working with my four dogs and am used to watching other small dogs as my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard which includes a small separately fenced area on the main level to give them a secure out time several times a day with no stairs. I have four small friendly dogs that are used to being around other dogs as they compete in various performance sports.

This has helped me become confident in handling everything from energetic puppies to shy or senior dogs who need a little extra care. Communication is KEY. I will provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I can pick up the phone anytime! I work a 9-5 but am available before and after work! I am very active and I like to prioritize walking and physical activity. My dad currently has a "Foster Fail" who I adore. Anytime I'm home, he knows to jump in the car and go. We walk and play together most days. I think it's unfair to not walk our dogs (if you are able). They give so much to us, the least we can do is give them a good walk!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and got into dog training 2 years ago. I assisted a dog training company with the dogs they would board and care for, and assisted with multiple training outings. I also raised and trained my own service animal. I’m currently working part time, and will focus solely on providing care for your pet and home. They are my number one priority and love to do things with them. I will take them on long walks and do training with them to get their brain going. I’ll make sure their meals are extra tasty and made with love.

About: Hi! I am a 21 year old college student, who would love to be considered for taking care of your furry friend! I grew up around a lot of different animals, but abundantly dogs , which allowed me to gain a lot of experience with them. Since I was a young teenager I walked and did check-ins for families with one to multiple dogs, and eventually did one or two over-night doggy-sitting! I have experience in taking care of puppies and elderly dogs as I grew up in a home where we regularly fostered dogs of those ages. I give the dogs I take care of the love, attention and respect I would give to my own. I will be back in the Cross Junction area for most of Winter break! To make sure I give your dog the attention and care needed, I would love to schedule an appropriate amount of time ahead. Generally speaking though, I would plan around your pet and can take last minute booking! I follow the rules and expectations set by you! I do ask everyone who’s dogs I take care of to give me a list of do’s and don’ts because not every dog is the same. I also make sure to ask for typical behavior and moods for the dogs, so that if something is potentially wrong, I am able to identify it!

About: Should have heeded my original calling to be a vet but instead, I've made a life around animals by taking care of a variety of animals all my life from cats and dogs to farm animals and birds. I also have vast experience with pet-sitting for friends and neighbors.
