About: I love animals! I am not a dog parent myself, but I have lived with several different dogs and cats. I often spend time with and take care of the pets of my family and friends. I dog sit for my cousins often. They have 2 dogs: an black lab and a Australian shepherd mix. I love animals but unfortunately I cant afford to have a dog of my own and can't have them in the house i live in currently. I am available during the morning after drop off to late afternoon. I have a fenced in yard for my elder dog Lua. She loves to play fetch and go for walks. I follow direction well and will listen to your needs for your furry family member. Animals are like us. Not all are alike and may need special care. Being a mother of a kiddo and an animal has taught me to be aware of this and how to maneuver challenges.

I am a teacher in the area and have the flexibility to provide care for the many pets in the area in my down time. I am flexible with what needs are to be met in a clients home. About: I've had a dog in the house since I was 5 and am mama to a 5 year old lab now. I love taking dogs for walks, playing fetch at the park, exploring, and snuggling. I work from home full time so your dog will be my buddy all day. I take exercise breaks for myself and your dog (daily runs on leash and after-work park time). I have a fenced yard for potty breaks, one friendly 5 year old lab who is ready to be your dog's best buddy, and a dog friendly toddler who loves sloppy dog kisses.

About: Over the course of my life, since early childhood, I've had 3 dogs and 4 cats. I mostly took care of training my 3rd dog who I had throughout childhood. In my adulthood, I've spent over a year I volunteered 1-3 times a week at a local animal shelter where I helped socialize the cats and dogs, and took the dogs on walks. At the animal shelter there were 3 different levels of difficulty assigned to each dog, and during my time there I worked my way up to handling & walking level 2 dogs. Additionally, I spent over a year working & living on a ranch, where I cared for horses, cows and bulls, goats, chickens, and a large variety of different bird species including an ostrich. I'm currently a college student that's currently taking a semester off. I'm doing part-time work that I set my own schedule for, so I have time to care for pets! I can work with fairly short notice as well. I'm good to work on any day except for Friday. Currently I'm not boarding any pets at my own home. I am very gentle and understanding with animals, and make sure to respect their boundaries. I'm able to crate dogs if need be, and am willing to give pets as much space as they need.

About: I’ve had every animal under the sun since I was kid! From every size dog to rats and lizards, I’ve cared for them all. I’ve been trusted to walk, watch, bathe, and cuddle many friends and family’s pets since I was a teen. I have a senior chihuahua mix that has had unfortunate experiences with larger dogs, which has made me hyper aware of dog body language. I’ve taken it upon myself to research and learn more about the behavior of dogs to keep them happy and safe! I work primarily from home on my own schedule with 1-2 days where I am away for longer than 6 hours. My schedule is very flexible, letting me go for a walk or check on a pet at most points throughout the day. I’m always sure to understand a pets dietary needs/restrictions and needs. Reward preferences, whether they want play time or a run, to cuddle, ect. are all important things I like to gather before watching a pet. I carry a variety of treats on me, a first aid kid, and slip leads in my car to be prepared for an emergency. I am trained in dog first-aid and CPR.

About: I have always grown up with animals in my home. I have two dogs at my house that I absolutely love. I love to walk and hike. I am very good with any kind of animal! I am willing to take care of other people’s animals while they can’t. I will bathe your animal (if needed), play with them, go on long walks or hikes and take them swimming if they like water. I will take special care of whatever kind of bread the dogs are! I am cat friendly. I am very excited to be on rover to get the opportunity to take care of animals. I work as a nursing assistant part time. I have a lot of free time on my hands . I have animals at home that I help take care of everyday. We go on hikes and we are always playing with their favorite toys. I feed them the times the need to be fed. They always are getting treats. Ill take them on walks and play fetch to get all their energy out.

About: I have been around dogs of different temperaments and personalies my whole life and I'm the kind of person who stops to pet every dog I come across. When I spend time with my dogs I enjoy being outside and active, just as much as hanging out and giving pets. I've never met a dog I didn't get along with, and I promise they'll love hanging out with me (maybe too much). I like to either go for a walk, run, ski, or maybe even for an excursion into the mountains. It really depends on the dog though. If we need to keep it low-key then we'll just do a few laps in the neighborhood or even just hang out at home. Aside from getting the pup some exercise, I will often go spend time with friends or go run errands. In these cases I like to bring the dog with me as much as possible, but again, it depends on the dog. If you have a younger dog I can do some very basic training in obedience, commands and behavior. I work inconsistent hours and days. Outside of that I spend time outside or at the house cooking and hanging out with friends. Typically if I'm not working I will spend most of the day with the pet. When I do work, I can be gone 8 to 14 hours, so I like to get up super early to walk the dog, and take care of chores. This really depends on the pet. Some dogs like to flee if they get out, some like to stay around the people. Some dogs are friendly to other dogs, some are not. Some are all bark and no bite, some no bark and all bite. Learning how the dog does in different situations helps me figure out where I can take them, and how to take care of them and keep them safe. I think the big thing about house sitting is making sure they have everything they need before I leave them for an extended period of time: taking them out to poo, making sure they're fed, making sure there's no human food left out for them to snatch, etc.

About: I have been a cat and dog lover since I was a child. I really feel that animals are emotional support animals in addition to being fun to interact with I care about animals and their welfare. Over the past several years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs and cats of various friends. I am very perceptive and often able to determine the demeanor of dogs and cats so I know how to taylor my skills I currently work from home a full-time job Monday through Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM. I Have flexibility to care for animals in the evening after work also on the weekend Saturday and Sunday. I currently live in an apartment where I am unable to care for animals however, I am am able to come to the clients home.
