Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them, while still being adaptable to less friendly dogs who want space. I am generally home during the day, and extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. The pets we watch at home often feel like a part of our family! We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run, and a quiet neighborhood for walks. Our senior dog isn’t high energy, and easy to get along with.

Sorry, but I don't accept aggressive breeds (Pit bulls, Rottweilers or any dogs over 75lbs.) I love to make animals happy and contented. I believe in positive care and love to them. About: Hi I’m Dafne! I’m originally from Seattle and new to the Bend area. I’ve been dog sitting/walking for about 15 years now. Working with dogs, cats, etc. has always been my ideal side gig, and I hope to turn it into a full time career one day. With your permission I take your pet(s) on outings to local parks, lakes, and trail systems. Having pets of my own and having had personal experience with a dog with aggression issues, I’ve learned how to get on “their level” so to speak. I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.

However Alex was kind enough to come again that very evening while we were home to spend some time with him so that he could get to know her better. And even though he was nervous again the next time she came, she spent time with him, giving him treats, and finally got him to warm up enough so they could take a walk.
