About: I have been taking care of ALL types of animals for 40+ years, but my favorites are cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. It makes my soul happy 😊 I am ready to love your fur baby as if it is my own! Throughout my life, I’ve owned just about every type of furry and not so furry animal you can imagine. Taking care of animals is what I’m passionate about. I can work pretty much any request into my daily schedule as long as I have proper notice. Check my calendar because I keep it up to date all the time. I will x out dates that I have pending requests, which usually means I’m just waiting to meet my clients before it’s confirmed. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but I do live right across from a dog park and an open field/Grant Park where I take my little guy to run and play. I will follow whatever rules you have for your babies in your homes.

About: I’ve been on a hiatus from Rover because I got my own puppy March 2021. She is my whole world and a genuine angel. I’m ready to help with other angels now! I love walks with my dog, Cash. About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs since I was 17 and personally trained both of my labs. Capable of handling large dogs on walks. Love to play and exercise with your pets! I’m currently an airline pilot and have a large number of days where I’m home from flights before 3pm or home all day when I’m not flying. I have crate trained multiple dogs and feed both of mine on command. I have created the understanding that a crate is a home for them and not a space for punishment.

About: I have taken care of my family and neighborhood dogs before. I have also had dogs and cats since I was born and know how to take care of them very well. About: While I may be new to the Rover platform, I’m not new to pet care. I’ve been the trusted dog sitter for friends, family, neighbors and even new clients! I’m also a proud dog owner myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone reliable looking after your pet. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, stays, or last-minute plans, I’m here to help. I treat every pet like my own giving them plenty of attention. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine because I currently have open availability and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet’s needs. Having recently stepped away from my previous job, I’m able to offer flexible scheduling, including daytime, evening, and even last-minute bookings. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so being able to focus my time on it is both fulfilling and exciting. For both house sitting and dog walking, I prioritize your pet’s comfort and routine. When staying in a client’s home, I make sure to follow your instructions closely from feeding and potty breaks to bedtime routines so your pet feels safe and cared for in their familiar environment. I also maintain a tidy space and treat your home with the utmost respect. As for other aspects such as walks, I focus on making each outing a fun, safe experience tailored to your dog’s energy level and personality. Whether it’s a quick potty break or a longer stroll.

About: I am dipping my paw into the world of dog walking as a way to fulfill my passion for pets and a means of making a little pocket money. I have had dogs most of my life, cats sometimes too. As a child and teenager, I showed and handled dogs with my mom and sister. As an adult, I have almost always had at least one dog. As I write this, my husband and I have three dogs of our own. Tsi-Tsi who came to us when my mom lost her battle with cancer. Tilly is our young, beautiful and intense whippet, and in May of 2024, we adopted our rescue while on vacation in Hawaii - the gregarious and sweeter than we could ever have expected, Triena. I am a local working artist. I work from my home studio with a relatively flexible schedule. I reserve most Thursdays and weekends to spend time focused on community and family. However in a pinch I will do my best to accommodate your schedule on a case by case basis. I will come to your home and visit with your pets. I can take them out for some exercise or play and check water and food supplies. Your furry friends will be cared for like they are my own.

About: Hello! My name is Tina and I am a dog mom of a 5 month old purebred Golden Retriever named Chester! I have dog experience of all sizes for about 10 years. I have always owned one or two dogs, especially growing up. I am very passionate about teaching & training my dog different and unique skills to allow him to be the best pup he can be! I have trained my dog to sit, shake/paw, lay down, rest, hold (yell “HOLD!” if he ever becomes in danger, for example running in the street by accident) among duck hunting training skills. We are a busy team! I have a very flexible schedule. I work about 15 hours/week for my regular job & my free time is spent with Chester! I also value exercise and love as the most important needs for a dog and other pets. Please reach out if you feel I’d be a great fit for working with your fur baby or babies! :) I currently work part time. Most of my free time is during the day, as early as 6am-5pm. My availability would mainly be during the day when you’re at work & need some extra help until you get home! If you have a fenced in yard, great! Let’s play catch and run around for awhile! I would like to have the pets vet paperwork readily available incase I’d need it, along with a clear feeding schedule ahead of time. On nice days, I’d like to be outside playing and entertaining your pet. On rainy days, hide & go seek is a fun game with pups! Any restrictions that you may have, I’d like to have written out ahead of time, for example, no treats or bones, or no playing in the basement, etc. After I am done with my visit, I’d make sure to clean up toys & any other space I’ve used, as well as make sure the house is secured and locked.

“Elba is the best and always communicates things well in advance for us to plan. Our pup gets excited when we say her name, he enjoys his walks with her that much!”

Courtney T.
“Courtney loves all furry creatures with her whole heart and soul. She currently is a loving mama to 3 cats and a dog, but given the time and space to responsibly have more, she would. I have witnessed her care for countless animals throughout the years. She possesses an innate ability to relate to an animal’s moods and needs in good times and bad. One experience that stands out is when a family member’s beloved pug was experiencing extreme heat stroke while on vacation, Courtney calmly assessed the situation, then personally took the necessary steps to get the dog stabilized initially and quickly get her into the care of a veterinarian for further care. When everyone else was freaking out, she knew exactly what to do and saved that dog’s life. In times that are not so serious, she is always ready to provide a pet, scratch, belly rub, treat, walk… you name it. My dog is tireless when it comes to fetch, and Courtney manages to tire her out. I highly recommend her to care for anyone’s furry friends.”

Caroline K.
“Caroline has been a fabulous provider of pet care. I know that when I leave town my dog is taken care of by the best. She provides updates and information while I am gone to keep me informed about my dog. You can easily tell she really loves animals and will take care of them no matter what. My dog always seems excited about seeing her and spending time with her. I strongly urge everyone to use Caroline as a pet sitter as she will care for your animal as if it was her own.”

Tiffany B.

“Tiffany provides excellent walking services for our high-energy Nala. Would definitely recommend and plan on continuing walking and drop-in services.”

Carmen K.
“Carmen is a very loving and responsible pet owner. We’ve had many dogs in our lifetime, ranging from under 15 to over 100lbs. She has been a patient mom to many breeds, including more challenging but lovable selective listeners (aka huskies). Some weeks, she’ll walk the dogs 3x per day, for about 30 min each, weather and dog energy permitting. Carmen also has experience feeding, cleaning up and talking/singing to our family’s small animals, such as cockatiels, fish, hamsters and guinea pigs. Her passion for animals extends beyond our family as she previously volunteered at the Racine Zoo with Kangaroos and making meatballs for the Tigers. Highly recommend you get in touch with Carmen if you need regular walks for your pooches, or even a drop in to check on your small animals as needed.”

Carrie P.
“Carrie is great! She is very reliable and dependable. She has been able to help me out on several occasions on short notice. My dogs just love her!”

Tyler S.
“Tyler is easygoing and super personable—with both pets and people! He is a responsible, professional individual who can be trusted and relied on. I recommend Tyler to anyone who may need pet care!”

Heidi B.
“Heidi Is amazing with animals and loves all of them like they are her own. I had her come down for a week to care for my dog and two cats and I could tell they were all sad when she left They were very well cared for and most definitely spoiled. One time I remember she found a sick kitten and brought this stray to a vet and paid hundreds of dollars to save it but the vet could not. She paid for them to put down the small kitten. She is tender hearted towards animals ! Please hire her for rover.com. She is amazing”

Allison S.
“Allison is a bubbly college student who loves all kinds of furry friends! Allison has had pets her whole life, so she knows what it takes to give your pet the care it deserves. Personally, I have 3 dogs, and they all need separate medication and different kinds of attention. Allison understands each unique aspect of my dogs and thrives with them. She is the perfect fit for all of your fury friend’s needs!”

Samira G.
“Samira is so great with animals! When I got a rescue dog -- neglected, scared of everything & everyone -- she didn't even bark the first time Samira came to the house. And went right up to her. She has had multiple dogs of her own, and has years of experience with care/feeding/understanding of animals. Her conduct is professional and caring, and I would never worry, knowing my pup was in good hands. Highly recommended.”
