She always spends a full 30 minutes with her (and often longer) and makes sure she has lots of love and attention while I’m away at work. When it’s very hot she pays special attention to Freckles’ comfort and will take her back inside to cool off if she needs it, but still makes sure the visit is the full length of time. I always receive detailed follow-up and adorable photos when the walk is done. Evelyn has had to deal with a couple accidents and has been gracious in cleaning them up before putting Freckles back in her crate. I (and Freckles) highly recommend Evelyn!”

About: I have had pets my entire life! From puppies to seniors, I got you covered. I have trained two of my dogs to be Canine Good Citizens and spent over 60 hours providing Therapy Dog services to nursing homes and children. I am a retired lieutenant in law enforcement, and I am looking to spend some time assisting local pet owners in meeting their pets’ needs. I plan to update my availability for the following week on Sundays. I would love to take your pup for a walk with (or without) my own friendly Golden Retriever. I can help your pets feel comfortable and happy while you are away!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs for the past 25 years. From a greyhound rescue off the track to my present adopted fur babies, I take the time to learn about them individually and also their breed traits. Every dog deserves love and the best care. I understand the trusted importance we humans play in their lives. From my puppy (now 3) to my senior (now 14), I know how important dog care is for us and for them. I am currently wanting to make pet care part of my weekly life, mostly during the Monday-Friday workday, anywhere from early morning until 6 pm. I am possibly available for drop-in visits on the weekend as well. I am not able to care for pets in my own home due to having my two dogs and also because my house and yard are not fenced in, and I live on a busy road. In a client's home, I would strictly follow the procedures and rules that they have established. From playing in a fenced-in yard to going on walks, I will do my best to provide the services that the client is asking for.

About: Hi there! I’m Net.🙂 I’m the go-to gal of my friends and family for watching their four-legged kid - and I love that reputation. I’m here to help ease those worries of last-minute changes to your everyday itinerary or lessen stress when being cross-country on travel - I get that because being there has done the same! And what is more of a bonus for me to make another pal? Seems like a win-win situation if you ask me. For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated and compassionate when it comes to animals. They have always been one of my favorite things in this world. Growing up with birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, you name it - really helped that love grow and helped me to also learn how to be responsible, coordinate time management and even how to properly take care of them along the way at a young age. Fast-forward - I took the next step to wanting to know and learn more about them. So I signed myself up back in 2017 and took an online course to more knowledge and become a vet assistant where I later on finished my hours at a local vet hospital. I was taught valuable skills, such as patience in the field, restraint techniques, administering medication and the importance of detail, etc. I even have some background in doggy daycare! What can I say? I can’t get enough of these little guys. Learning everything from grooming and bathing techniques, to animal behavior of personalities and the ability to understand each animal’s needs and anxieties. Don’t forget the play! I’ll even put on a good jam for us too and break out in a dance party. Putting more experience under my belt in something that fills my soul and cup. I always say when you enjoy something you love it first, and it’s a job second. Hopefully, I’ll have the opportunity and chance to meet your dog, too! 🐶🤍 I’m currently working early in the morning, so I have a lot of downtime to take care of and hang out with your little one(s). Monday through Saturday, I’m free after 12:30pm and all day Sundays. Occasionally, I could have an extra day off during the middle of the week. Just shoot me a message! I will be more than happy to accommodate what I can. I have a whole pack at home myself. Did I mention that? Yup! Five in total to be exact. Ranging from all different breeds, the oldest is almost 13 and the youngest just turned 1. So keeping them occupied is definitely something we have adjusted and accommodated to. We have a whole fenced-in yard, a toy box that can't fit much left, walks are a very essential part of our daily life and activity, and we tend to rotate our pack in groups from going to breweries/wineries, to hikes and even events such as dog parks, farmers market and whatever else events tend to be happening at the time. If this is something you're interested in acclimating and a small dose over time, happy to bring them along with! Of course, the occasional cupcakes and cookies I make for my kids at home. About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since as long as I can remember. I have gone through 5 dogs growing up and have always been surrounded by the pets of friends and family! I’ve always loved every kind of animal, I believe the bond between a dog or cat and their human is truly unconditional. I’m eager to meet and care for more furry friends! I am a full-time hairstylist. Though I am scheduled for the same hours each week, sometimes I have slower weeks than others and my weeks are never always the same. I am looking for Rover as a side job to help me out during my slower days! I live in an Inlaw apartment under my mom‘s house. We have a fenced in backyard. I only have one cat in my apartment, and my mom has two dogs that are very friendly. We have a walking trail along a river across the street from our house!

My attentiveness and engagement with them sets me apart, as well as my ability to stick with their routines, playtime or just cuddling on the couch can be just a bonus. Back from school for the summer break, and available anytime after 10 am on weekdays, and 11 am on the weekends! Last visit preferably until 8 pm I unfortunately do not care for pets in my home. However, when I am in the clients home I follow instructions given to me and will communicate of any questions, or concerns.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I currently have one, high-energy, lovable dog, Ellie! The pictures you’ll see are from my two friends dogs that I dog walk and dog sit regularly: Max (Pitbull Mix) and Honey (Goldendoodle). I have a very flexible work schedule and I know everyone else doesn't have that ability. I’m happy to work with customers to make sure their dogs/pups are being taken care of whether that’s daily, weekly, monthly, or sporadically. I’m starting off offering drop ins and dog walking but as I get to know the customer and the dog I’m open to discussing offering other options. If you have any questions let me know. I work remotely the vast majority of the time which leaves me available to swing by and check in on your furry friend or take them for a quick walk on days I am not traveling for work! About: I have loved dogs since I was a young child chasing Oscar at my grandparents' farm. To this day, if I see a dog I have to introduce myself. I have cared for dogs from six week old puppies to elder dogs in their final days. I also have experience with cats, having lived with four of them at one time. I am retired but fit and healthy. I am available most days and will stay with you pets overnight as well. I hope to turn pet care into a 25-30 hour/week job. I am unable to bring a pet into my home. For pet care in your home, I would closely follow your instructions. I do believe that play time and outdoor time are critical for pets fit for such activities. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and taken care of friends and families pets for as long as I can remember. I love interacting with all kinds of dogs and I look forward to meeting many different kinds. I take care of my Boston Terrier and Chihuahua mix(Snoopy) on a daily basis, which includes feeding him, letting him out, and playing with him since he has so much energy. About: Hello! My name is Nicole and I am an upbeat and energetic musician. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and absolutely love taking care of them! I also have 3 years of pet and house-sitting experience. I love dogs of all sizes -and cats- but have more experience with small dogs. While you’re away, I will let them out, as well as feed and clean up after them. I can take your babies on walks, outside to play, and give them all the love they could possibly want! I am currently a graduate student at Bard College, so I am able to do overnight sittings and drop-ins between classes. On Fridays I am out of town. Once the semester ends in late May, I will be available 7 days a week. After letting the pets get accustomed to my being in their home, I’ll try to get a sense of how much attention they want and respond accordingly.

About: I have a dog and a cat of my own. I have had my dog for 8 years now and helped raise him with my family. We got him as a puppy and potty trained him ourselves as well (as well as other trainings). I also have a cat and experience in introducing the two. I am a college student in between semesters this summer who is working subbing jobs so I am home a lot of the time and have irregular days/hours working, but I am always home by 4. In my home I would be careful to introduce the pet to my own dog and cat and mostly keep them separated. If they were together I would be watching them. At another persons house I would go by myself and make sure the animal feels comfortable with me.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs since i was 8. I adopted my first dog at 8 and had him for many many years! I have an almost 4 year old male pomsky and a 6 month old mastiff :) Im familiar with epeleptic dogs, deaf dogs , blind dogs and high energy dogs. Im available all day every day even over nights! I prefer dogs who are fixed but its not a must! Our family is huge animal lovers and your best friend will become a huge part of our family and will always be happy and healthy! Can be given daily walks if needed. Medication can be given if needed. You wont be disapointed! I'm a stay at home mother so my availability is always open pretty much! I've done just a day sitting to up to 2 weeks before and would be willing to watch your best friend for as short or long as you need me :) I have a large yard. And multiple dog leads! Daily walks are always given! If your best friends sleeps with you at night we'll they will sleep with me too!! If they are crated I can crate them :) you will not be disapointed! I will constantly send pics videos and updates so you no your friend is always in good hands!

About: Its been 3 years since I’ve last been on Rover due to having a small child so I’m starting out on here all over again ☺️ My daughter is in school and camp now so I have time to help owners who don’t have a flexible schedule make sure their loved animals are taken care of. I have a big dog of my own who stays in the yard most the day or on the couch! He plays great with other dogs & is also a lover. I am a free spirt. I love hiking , trails, or just walking in the neighborhood. I offer hair brushing, bathing animals, nail clipping/grinding, and can brush their teeth if needed. I love taking dogs swimming at lakes and streams, running, and exercising animals are also some other fun things I offer. I’m full of energy & love animals- my favorite animals are horses & dogs. I am a self employed hairstylist so I have time to help since I make my own work schedules. Since I do not have a set work schedule if my services are needed for longer visits I can definitely make that happen. I’m able to start today or tomorrow and am very excited to help with your little family members 🐶🐱Thank you very much Ali Gant I am self employed so my hours are very flexible. I can also run home fast or to your house anytime to let an animal out for their feeding or walk. I have a safe environment and work on safety in others homes. The collar and leash will be put on before the front door opens so no running out the door is possible. Practice sitting before the door opens is a positive start to any walk.
